A real life girl named Riley Horner, a 16 yr old, has a similar story. Her memory resets EVERY 2 HOURS! I feel horrible for these two girls. It's ironic I just came across these two stories on RUclips tonight, just days after me and my own 12 year old daughter Riley watch the movie 50 First Dates
I wonder what happens if she stays awake for a full 24-48 hours? Just curious if her memory would still reset or if she might be able to hold on to some moments.
Guys can we just talk about how cantlin thinks its October 13th and in the movie 50 First Dates drew berrymore's character Lucy also wakes up every day thinking its October 13th?
You'll never remember the good but at least at the same time you'll never remember the bad. There is some solace in that, if she got mugged for instance, all that trauma gone in a day. Not saying this is something you'd want but these is a certain positive to it.
I had completely forgotten about that movie! I LOVED 😍♥❤ it in the early 2000's, watched it probably 20x and caught new details each time I saw it. Guy Pearce was phenomenal in that lead role. Joe Pantiliano was also exceptional as the character he portrayed. Thanks for reminding me of this. I guess I just learned what's going to be on my tv screen the next time I get to netflix-and-chill. Lol 😆
that's because it's them re-enacting it for the news program.. like how you saw her father turn the lamp on, then walk out of the room (bumped his leg on something) and come back in and wake her up? they were supposed to edit out the first part of that, so he just comes in and wakes her up. editing team missed it. this is all just them re-enacting her typical day, so it may seem fake, but how else would they do it?
Just let the kid sleep. Every day her dad talking so much bs to her as soon she wakes up, man, let her be. Just put a sign saying "READ YOUR DAMN DAIRY"
