  • This video shows me replacing the pressure switch and heater relay to fix here two error codes. I’m pretty sure it was the pressure switch as I didn’t find anything wrong with the relay (see earlier video). However, I went ahead and replaced both.
    Heater relay part # 6097620 (USA): $57
    Pressure switch part #
    6996821 (USA): $99

If pressure switch is not defective, consider if a faulty slide shutter switch (F63 and F84) could be the culprit: • Could a Miele F24 code...
Finding the place to order the part in the Miele website was a bit tricky.
Go to mieleusa.com (assuming US) then Support menu, then Parts and Accessories and scroll to the bottom to find this text “Didn't find the spare part you were looking for?”
It will take you to a different website to find the parts. You can search by part description “heater relay” but that is not good enough since you will get many matches. Get the exact part number from your machine and use it to search instead. $57 in the US for a replacement

Thank you so much! Great video! In my case it was the pressure swtich. If only I had listened to this video before ordering the heater relay (that can't be returned)

It was a difficult choice for me too Paul. I was 90% sure it was not the heater relay because I had already checked it was working as expected. My rationale was that once I have the dishwasher all taken apart, i didn’t want to do the job twice and waste another weekend so ordered both parts.
On the plus side, you and have now have a spare heater relay in case that part fails in the future :-)

Just wanted to say a hearty thank you for taking the time to post this. Had the exact same issue and you saved me hundreds of dollars in repair fees. I was able to find both parts on ebay and am now a happy guy with clean dishes! I should add that I was only getting the F24 error but the issue was with the pressure switch, not the relay as indicated in the technical manual.

@@rogerscubadiver I wonder if moisture had gotten to the contacts inside? ruclips.net/video/-ZYt2f1Kgm4/видео.html

@@rmariu I think you are right. I put the switch in the freezer for about 20 mins and I couldn’t depress the diaphragm anymore. It was solid . Something was blocking its motion. I then let is thaw out and now it moves again. It is still faulty but it is only measuring 1-2 Mohms instead of the 7-8 Mohms from before.
I’m tempted to cut it open to verify

@rmariu, I dissected the switch and it does appear that there is a small amount of moisture inside.

      Hi Patriot.
It is hard for me to give you tips based on this description. One, it sounded like a different DW model than mine, which has an LCD and displays a diagnostic code and beeps.
If your DW only has LEDs, they would have a way to flash or display some sort of diagnostic code using only LEDs.
My recommendation is to google your DW model and “technical manual” to understand how codes may be display and what they mean. From there, the manual will give you some tips on what could be going on. The electrical diagrams, while difficult to understand at first, are valuable in finding which components to examine.
See all 4 videos I have posted in my DIY channel on how I diagnosed and fixed my issue. You will have to go through something similar for your DW
