Not sure if this is new, but the copy I received contained stickers sheets that are easy to apply and make reading the player boards much easier.
You are correct, the new versions come with a sticker sheet, makes it much easier to see
Great game. I snagged this too at GenCon. The gameplay more than makes up for the slightly annoying player board with the difficult to see icons. :)
