    I so enjoyed this and was so moved by the story of the student martyrs. Have you ever listened to Neil Young's "Ohio"?
    I just listened to it and thought of those kids....🎸

    First, the war between the Tenochcas and the Tlatelolcas, where the first destruction of their buildings occurred.     Tlaltelolco el lugar de las masacres...
    Primera, la guerra entre los tenochcas y los tlatelolcas donde se da la primera destrucción de sus construcciones. Allí se halló un entierro de 54 personas con sus respectivas ofrendas, eran parte de muchos más considerados las víctimas de la guerra de 1473 d. C. donde 54 personas donde fueron descubiertos los restos de una pareja, siendo él de unos 55 años y ella de 35. Como se encontraron abrazados fueron llamados "los amantes de Tlatelolco" que se exhiben en el sitio.
    Segunda, la invasión española con una guerra de muerte y destrucción y de los restos el levantamiento de la iglesia y convento de Santiago Tlatelolco.
    Tercera, la matanza del 68 previas a los Juegos Olímpicos en México de estudiantes y civiles entre ellos muchos niños por el represivo gobierno priista que hasta la fecha se recuerda y no se olvida.
    Cuarta, el sismo de 1985 con la caída de edificios multifamiliares con la muerte de muchos.

    This Aztec history is interesting but it's also pretty upsetting to think about how bloody these people were. It makes me sympathize with the Spanish and Europeans even more than before. Thank God they came here and ended this madness.

      Not all tribes practiced the same things.

      They literally burned all literature in this region and exported all of our gold to the point that Mexico took years to be a stable economy. They put us in a caste system where we were on the bottom and used religion to justify it. The Spanish became immensely rich of our destruction and you’re here saying that we’re bloody.
