Not sure how much the country where the product was manufacturer matters. These are diverse countries with good and bad production quality in several products. It could be just marketing. The lab, the ingredients or the technology used, should tell more than just the country. I visit several factories for my job as an engineer, and it's common that in the same company and in the same country, the plants are completely different.

I appreciate brands that produce in the country where they are based bc although the specifics are hard to know, they are less likely to exploit cheap labour and/or produce among inhumane working conditions. We can very often hear about makeup being vegan, cruelty free, environmentally friendly/less wasteful etc. but hardly anyone ever mentions the exploitation of people, which is probably the most large-scale problem when it comes to production.
Loving all your uploads since you finished the school year and made your big announcement! So nice to see you enjoying having the free time to upload more, without the stress! I have tried a ton of products from the Sephora brand, and I've really enjoyed most of them! The standouts and consistent repurchases are the Microsmooth Baked Powder Foundation, the Matte Tinted Moisturizer (Fenty Eaze Drop Who?!), the waterproof eyeliners, the shadow sticks, the hair primer, and the air dry styling cream. The Weekend Warrior Tone Up Cream reminds me so much of my Guerlain foundation. The Pro eyeshadow palettes are big, but they are SO GOOD. They rival Natasha Denona or Viseart, without a doubt. Also love the Detox Brush and Sponge Cleanser, the Pro Concealer brush #57, and the Pro Blush brush #93. All of their brushes are WONDERFUL. I think you picked out some gems! I know you said you thought the blushlighter/highlight emphasized your texture, but I think it looks gorgeous on you!
During the VIB sale, the Sephora collection is typically 30% off. That is when I pick up and try my Sephora products. I have many Sephora pro brushes. I like the Sephora brush cleaner. That eyeshadow palette is cute. I want to try that powder foundation. I’ve heard good things about their lip products. They are basic, but they get the job done.

The eye look is very simple, but I really like it. For some reason those colors look good on you. I also I like the color of the blush on you. The color of the liquid lipstick look very nice too. I am insteresting about the clean products of the sephora brand.

Did you try their holiday baked palette? I just bought it i kind of feel it could be a dupe for the hourglass powders since the formula seems similar i need to test them more but i think you might enjoy it if you pick it up it is only $20 for a quad
The Sephora individual blushes are cool because you can pop them out of their containers and put them into your palette like I make my own little on the go face palettes and you can use the cute little containers to put lashes in since they have a mirror
The microsmooth and blush has been on my list to try for years. I love the golden hour highlighter. It my favourite👌🏾. The sephora cream matte liquid lip is bomb, mask-friendly (for me), and made in Italeee😄! Their honey gloss is my go-to. I prefer the sephora shimmers/metallics over the mattes. I like their mascara, as well. I agree with the eyeliner. My $3 essence is better😄. As a Canadian, the sephora line is even more expensive, unfortunately. Anyway, you look really pretty Morgan.
I'm not really a fan of Sephora brand stuff but the liquid lip cream stain is awesome. I can eat anything with that liquid lip!!!! It does dry out the lips if you wear them too many days in a row. The lip liner is not bad and some of the eye shadow pencils are okay as a base for other shadows. The Sephora brand eyeshadows disappear on me after a couple hours so expensive shadows are worth the money in my book. I rather save up and own a large viseart palette than buy a bunch of little low end shadow palettes. It's just frustrating and a waste of money. Eyeshadow is definitely where we need to be snobs and maybe save on other products. Thanks again for another nice video!!!

For people who use primer. Especially a moisturizing type. Are they not doing quality skin care that includes a moisturizer and then a sunscreen? Because these primers seem like they are over kill if you already moisturized but worse, will mess up your sunscreen application. Are the kids just skipping the taking care of their skin part and so they need some moisture below foundation?? Wear your sunscreen people! Protect that skin or you will regret it. It is HARD to walk back the damage i did by skipping sunscreen. And much of it can’t be walked back. If doing proper skincare that includes a quality moisturizer and the all important sunscreen, i am not sure where the primer fits in.
Sephora’s liquid lipsticks are also my favourites and I tried a lot of brands. Sadly they indeed tend to break the way yours did. I’ve just reordered the 44 (a plumish dark gray) because of that…

How does the Microsmooth powder compare to the Kosas Cloud Set?
