Happens to the best of us. I remember the first breakup I was tormented for over a year. I had severe OCD and was having such an insane amount of stress and panic I couldn't sit still for months. To make everything worse, I had severe cystic acne, I just started college, I felt disgusting around all my peers and my confidence was completely shot. It wasn't until I went on Isotretinoin and did my first mushroom trip that I was able to finally bury these thoughts and let them rest. That first mushroom trip opened my eyes up and made me see how horrifyingly hateful I had become to myself and when I saw that visual I couldn't stop crying and appreciating all the things I did have like my brother and my friends that I did love but wasn't giving my energy to because all my energy was being spent hating myself and hating my life. I will never forget that day 5/1/18. Changed my life forever, I blocked her, stopped the simping, and stopped getting angry every time I heard she fucked a new guy. I moved on. All these years later, I can peacefully look back on that time and shrug it off as nothing although I remember that pain like it's branded into me of a time when it was really fucking hard to wake up and live. You will get your day eventually where you can move on and when it comes you'll feel so fucking good. Pain is necessary for evolution because if everything was at peace all the time no creature would change. Evolution occurs because the struggle is brought into an environment and the creatures that are subjected to torment must evolve and adapt a new way of living to deal with the circumstances and overcome them. Pain is good, but only if you can find a way over it and prevent the pain from occurring in the future. So long as you're subjected to the pain, you have not understood your lesson. And some lessons are really hard, and some are easy but just remember that extraordinary tasks are given to extraordinary people.
