I skimmed through this book when I was in my 20s. I think many women have been made to believe they have plenty of time to start a family. I had my first child at 28. Im glad I married my husband and settled in some areas. I don’t think it’s necessary for all women to settle but you must pay attention to the biological clock. In comparison to men, women don’t have that much time to create a family. Fertility treatment is not a guarantee or affordable. Regardless of the path a woman take there will always be question of what it could be. I think to avoid painful regrets, young girls need someone to really point out how fertility works and how important it’s to plan a family. You have to be intentional. You have more options when you’re young. That doesn’t mean older women don’t have options or undesirable. Older women typically have more obligations that don’t allow them to be as flexible as younger women. That’s why it’s harder for single moms to date. There are more pieces that need to fit. So I agree with some of KS talking points. You can have everything you want but usually not all at once.

I work at an OB/GYN and there I are so many women between the ages of 40-45 that are giving birth. So many that I make sure I take my pill every day LOL. I do not want to be pregnant at 40. Women in their 40 can still have children.

My aunt had her first child at 48 and they living a beautiful life, my childhood friend mom had him at 42 and we are in our 40's now and his mom manifested that she would be here to see and spend time with his kids since he was her last child and she did, she passed away at 90.
