Drugstore Makeup Tutorial ALL Maybelline | Gigi Hadid VMAs 2019

- This drugstore makeup tutorial is based off the look Gigi Hadid was wearing the the VMAs this past week, it was a golden, bronzed, luminous look and used ALL Maybelline products to top it off! Most of these I had not ever tried before so there are a lot of first impressions here, too. If you're looking for a look like this, I hope it will be helpful :)

Imagine that gel highlighter BEFORE the gold-shadow as a base, and doing like a soft-angel halo towards the eyebrows and inner corner of the eyes with it - then set with the gold eye-shadow in the center of the lid. Ah, gold angel.
I use the Maybelline City bronzer as eye shadow sometimes when I'm feeling lazy. Maybelline is one of my favorite drugstore brands. Thanks for doing an easy and affordable tutorial.

I live in southeastern Virginia and we try to stay prepared in hurricane season too.
It also may be some people don’t have the extra money available to have supplies just sitting “just in case”, what is purchased is used by the family, that is the reality for many. Wish this wasn’t what many have to think about but household preparedness items can get expensive.
The same thing with people who are able to evacuate. They ran an article about the cost of taking a bus, being able to lodge, and then being able to afford gas to leave. Only those above a certain level of income are able to evacuate or relocate at the drop of a hat.
I really like this look on you! The eyebrow pencil matches you perfectly, and the gold eyeshadow brings out the highlights in your hair.👌

I've only ever seen the City Bronzer used in shade 100, and that shade is great on everyone I've seen. MUCH lighter and neutral.

I love how you mimicked a look you saw even though you were not the same shade as her. Through doing this I found some products that I want to try. I also get to see how some of the products people rave about would work on my fair light skin.

Love gigis look it’s gorgeous and subtle. GIGI has very hooded eyes so it’s great to see how they make them look fantastic. If you see her without makeup and other photos her eyes are beautifully hooded.

I really like this look! Glad to hear this pallet applies really good, because some of those other pallets were not so good! Might have to pick this one up, because I don’t think I have a white shimmer and I want to recreate this look!

I live in SC right on the coastline area and people here are already panicking lol I went through Hugo years ago so I'm not really worried like some are but I definitely agree on not understanding why if you live in a hurricane central area you don't have some kind of previsions stocked up. Not saying go buy the store lol but there are just certain things you should always have on hand just in case especially when the season kicks in. I'm more concerned on the flooding for us then I am the actual storm. Be safe Down there!!! ❤

Oo I love that lip technique rather than create a shadow with a contour shade can do it with lip liner. Totally going to try it

I'm so glad you agree with me about that city bronzer. It is straight orange on me even with blending. L'Oreal Lumi bronzer is MUCH better.

I don’t know why, but I thought you lived in Atlanta : so nice to learn that we are neighbors as I live in CLEARWATER. We’ve really prepared the season as opposed to any other season and I have a vague uneasiness about this particular hurricane, probably cause it’s the first one of the season really. East coast girl here and the hurricane looks to be turning east so hoping for the best , I was in Walmart buying the new physicians formula organic foundation and lip balm and everyone else was buying supplies lol ..so I can relate !!! Love this look and I like your point with the liner and downturned eyes as mine are also downturned !! U guys stay safe over your way as well !!! Love this look !!!!!

That Fit Me powder is awesome ! I have the dryest skin and that powder does not look dry on me at all !! Love Maybelline's BB cream as my foundation as well. Nothing else I try works without flaking.

Pretty colors, my kinda colors. Thanks for sharing. Yes I’m north of the Tampa Bay Area. I’m always over stocked with water once summer hits. Always have items ready. The gas lines are absolutely ridiculous. As well as the people begging me for gas money, hope everyone stays safe. Praying Dorian does little to no damage, maybe just leaving the states alone completely.

I just tried purchasing the pallettes you recommended in another videos. Love it but everything else pretty too shinny for me. Looked like a Christmas tree lol. Essence eye pallette. I guest I need to learn more. 58 is not easy... but I am trying. Beautiful colors though. 😍
The Snapscara is actually my favorite mascara right now! I’m on my 5th tube 🙈 It’s a tubing mascara, so it performs a bit differently than traditional mascaras. I do 3 coats and let each one mostly dry, then curl my lashes afterwards. I get asked all the time if I have falsies on!
Just watching this and it’s great that Dorian didn’t cut through Florida or go up through it. I’m in BatonRouge so I completely get it about hurricane season. Pretty look. It’s nice it’s all drug store!
