With every challenge presented to me by Protestants, the deeper I dive, headfirst, into my Catholic faith. When John wrote his letters, did he think the Eucharist was symbolic? Did the early Christians, who had to meet in the forest for fear of persecution think that that the Eucharist was symbolic? Not a chance - these people that put their life on the line to worship believed 100% that the Eucharist is real. Have a great week - thanks for this video!

My parents tell me about Mass pre-Vatican II. My Dad never knew what was going on. My Mom told me to leave the rosary beads at home (even though people still brought them to Mass in the 1970s). They both appreciate the changes. I am happy for my friends who love the Latin mass, but they're not the same people as the every-day Catholics pre-Vatican II. They are better catechized and know the translations well.
New catholic here. Came in under NO - never been to a latin mass and no great desire to attend one (but if there was an ordinariate rite parish nearby I wd go since I was Anglo-Catholic at one point). It is a good time to be Catholic.
@@kevinguidry4783 Anglo-Catholic is high Anglican (I was in Canada) not Catholic. The Ordinariate (Chair of St. Peter) still follows the liturgy of the Anglican rite in many ways but they are part of the Catholic Church .

Rob, I go to daily mass and I always talk about how we are being fed daily with the Holy Eucharist and wonderful teaching. I remember the 15 minute daily masses.. born in 58
I think Rob meant God’s Cottage. Rob turned me onto that Priest a series of months ago and I have learned a lot through him. He is a great Priest but like Rob, I can’t recall his name. I’m pretty sure he is Irish btw but I could be wrong. Keep on doing awesome stuff here by the Grace of God Rob. I learn so much here and I appreciate it.
Brother let me share an expirience I had during covid. I pray to the Lord that if I was wrong He should show me the way to a church that respects Him and doesn't give the holly Eucharist in the hand. And Voila I met a lady outside giving a rosary pamplhet and told me about this minichurch few minutes away. Well it was a little piece of heaven. Full mass, proper communion, confession, adoration, youth choirs, etc. A wonderful young priest!!! That would say We shall not have fear, We shall have.... Faith!! This priest the last day before they moved him south was celebrating mass and during consecration I saw two angels higher above the priest and the Holly Eucharist!!!! Our Lord has shared with me other wonderful gifts and hard revelations coming 😢😢😢😢😢 I will share later.
I’d be careful to make sure the church you found is approved and in union with Rome. I sense you are deceived by a demon masquerading as an angel of light. Communion was received on the hand in the early church -as is presently approved by the Pope and Bishops. “Coming up to receive, therefore, do not approach with your wrists extended or your fingers splayed, but making your left hand a throne for the right (for it is about to receive a King) and cupping your palm, so receive the Body of Christ; and answer: “Amen.”-St. Cyril of Jerusalem
"Give yourselves to Jesus in order to enter the immensity of his great Heart which contains the Heart of his Holy Mother and the hearts of all the Saints and lose yourselves in this abyss of love, charity, mercy, humility, purity, patience, submission and holiness.” -St. John Eudes
Great video! Rob, another factor to consider with change in Church since 50s and 60s. Have you heard of Bella Dodd and infiltration of communism in priesthood?

I am a cradle Catholic and a Norvus Ordo Catholic. And the Lord told me that Traditional Catholics should envy me because I am much stronger Spiritually than them.
It was easy to get caught up into that because of the half truths. Grateful for your channel. I started to become a mad trad and started to not like church but im recovering because i enjoyed the traditional Latin Mass.
I'm confused...you mentioned God's Cottage. It is Father Thady, an Irish priest. I've listened to many videos of his. 99% of the time he defends the Pope. He does question some things. Maybe I've missed that he is not a good priest? I haven't watched any videos for a few months, maybe it is in that time frame? He even has a video specifically calling out Taylor M. and others who oppose the Pope. There is a Scottish priest I used to listen to in my TLM days, but can't remember his name. Maybe that is who you are referring to?
Salvation, why so many interpretations by protestants? The denominations all explain salvation but have a twist? Trinity yes/no Baptism??? Eucharistic? Now non denominational? Don't they see all the disagreement.
As an ex Catholic, I'd love to return to the Catholic Church mainly for the Eucharist, but I can't in good faith assent to all Catholic dogmas. I wouldn't mind if I was allowed to internally dissent without ever expressing my opinion, but I can't even do that.
So you should investigate if the Catholic Church was the Church Jesus gave authority to . If you find it's true everything else will fall into place . I recommend starting with Matthew 16:18-19 . Peace be with you
@@bluecollarcatholic8173 yeah, maybe. But considering your setup and lack of video cutting, having this as your biggest error in the past six months is a really good score! Keep it up brother
A Protestant response. All the redeemed are part of Christ’s Holy Catholic Church. All the redeemed are fully united to Christ and are fully united to his church. All local congregations of baptized professing believers that are called by Christ, ordered according to his will, under Christ’s headship and proclaim the Gospel though Word and Sacrament are true visible expressions of Christ’s Holy Catholic Church. All the redeemed are fully united to Christ and possess the fulness of the faith. There are no second class Christians. There are nearly one billion Evangelicals and Protestants in the world.

Novous Ordo is ok unless is woke or Bergoglian as in mass communion is given in the hand, women deaconess, women giving communion, no adoration.
I was raised NO. After having discovered the Apostolic/Tridentine Mass of all time, there's no way I'm going back to NO.
