what I didn't understand is why they left the engine idling, it wasn't even helpful for towing, in fact they dragged it with ropes, still very good and lucky! hi!..
No love was lost when I left AZ. But riding one of these little putt -- putt rail cars on a stretch of abandoned rail line looks like a lot of fun no matter where in the U.S. you are. Too bad we dont have abandoned rail lines in Minnesota. Have a blessed day everyone
I've been waiting for this part 2.Excellent ride and videography Archie.Especially loved the tense 360 view of the bridge crossing.Now-I have the popcorn-next video please.
I wish you would contact some companies for new equipment to try out for these adventures. New cameras and Drones. You have a very large subscriber count to tempt companies and amazing use for such items. It never hurts to ask.
Subscribed! Really enjoyed the video. I live in Goodyear and the other end of the track is still in use , see 1-2 trains a day. I Wish Union Pacific can reopen the out of service end of the line.Thank you for uploading!🚂
After seeing that, then the next time going out there, I would have brought a chainsaw, 2 prybars, a sledge hammer, and 6 pieces of 4x4's,[one for each concrete pier] few odd 2x4 pieces, a fold up ladder and a measure tape. I would measure the distance between the rails for the gage width, and then go cut the 4x4's and sledgehammer them into place between the rails, on top of those concrete piers. You would be able to safely drive right across those concrete piers then.
This is why I always wanted to hang out with guys instead of girls. Boys always are up to some crazy stuff. Crazy in a good way. Loved this video. Your editing around the bridges was fun. Most of the area looks identical to SoCal abandoned rails. Sandy dessert with mountains in the background. Most of the rail was in great looking shape. Like it hasn't been ignored for very long. How Many" What Ifs" did you ask yourself before taking on the rollercoaster rails with a pull rope???
Little Fox looks like "Johnny Five" stretched out there and taking a break in the back of Oscars 4x4. Safe travels my friends, thanks for sharing. (Only 9 minutes in but I'll be back),
In 2014 the Arizona Department of Transportation had started a study to see if it was possible to rebuild this segment of track and open it back up for regular train service. They should have hired you as a contractor to run the line back then to make observations about the condition of the right of way for their study. 😂😂
Thanks for the adventures. Afterwards, I always fly the route in MSFS2020, with a helicopter or Google Earth in VR headset. I recommend that you change the camera to real 4K quality, because it is very poor quality to watch on a large 4K TV. update :) At the end of the video I see that you have GoPro cameras. The quality of the video on RUclips is very bad. Maybe it's just that the upload is fresh and that's why.
hello . It is filmed in 1080 HD 60fps. In 4K it takes up a lot of space and the camera heats up a lot and the GoPro turns off. Try changing the video resolution in the RUclips menu. I'm watching the video right now and it looks good. thank you for your comments
@@archiemoreno You are right about overheating with action cameras. I have an action 4 and the thermal release can be turned off with a firmware trick. Of course, this may not be good in a hot desert :) I don't want to take the resolution back because we have to move forward. If it doesn't work with action cameras, you have to use something else. Other RUclipsrs somehow solve it. Of course, I also understand the financial side of it. I wrote just to have such a comment. I know that many people only watch videos and TV from 3 meters away on a mobile phone or tablet, but the point of the low resolution is that I can see the mountains in your videos, see the bushes and flowers next to the rails. This was a good video with the two burnt bridges. It could have been ignited by some idiot, not by lightning. You are brave to go this far in the desert. Although I don't know, could you quickly ask for help if something were to happen. Thanks again for your work. :)
@@archiemorenoThis video looks fine, on my phone. I can only imagine the temperature was really hot, while filming this! More of this track is still in running condition, than I realized. Too bad with the Southern Pacific and Union Pacific merger, that they didn't keep this track in operable condition and abandoned it.
Hola buenas tardes.
I believe that one person could make it over that washed out section on Zorrito. Maybe you could make some clasps that clip around the tracks so it cannot come off for just these occasions....Geat video!!! How did those tracks get so bent up like that?
Since crossing the gap at 36:00 has been proven to be safe and in gauge, I will pay you $5 the next time you visit for you to personally ride across it!
The track looks in very good condition for a locomotive to pass, they only have to build the bridges and they are ready for service esepte in the accident part That good video!
I spent an hour and 18 minutes enjoying your adventure, what a journey, on to the next exciting adventure. Thank you for sharing this video ;-)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great adventure, Archie. Your videos are like therapy! The bridge crossing was spectacular! So exciting! Thank you for another fantastic video 🫶🏻

Why his camera work is superb? He does just the minimun of talking and lets the camera do rest brilliantly.

Good ride ! I believe I mentioned before about installing aluminum rods on front corners, will stop the major backlash of those dang bushes. 😀
Good thing there wasn’t any Trees or short Cactus! That would be a pain in the Keysher!
Loved this, great content my man! Go ZORRITO go!
Thank you!!!! !!!!
C'est super ! 🦊

Gostei ...uma bella Edicion my Camarada 🇷🇺👍🌍
Zorrito is a tightrope walker!
I like these better than highway drives.
running very fast what was the speed maybe you should install a speedometer that we can see
Looking at the video 30-40mph
Muy bueno!!!!!

nice capture
Great job*****
It would take allot of energy to ruin the tracks like that. Wonder how and why it happened. 🤔
BR

I would have had a couple shots of tequila and took that bridge sitting on the cart full send! J/K! That was awesome.
enjoyed the ride just siting on my couch have a grand adventure.

Google Map suele mostrar grabaciones antiguas.
You could increase your speed by adding the stage 3 modifications to the 6.5 horsepower honda clone engine. New exhaust, cold air intake, easy

Duromax engine 208cc. 7hp

Great video. I am curious as to why you left the engine running on the RR cart while pulling it across that shaky open bridging?
you should do a night ride, put a flashlight on the cart and ride on of those deserted rails in the desert.
Looks like there are pyromaniacs in that part of the state. 🤔
question what size wheels are you running and where did you get them from thank you
They are 10 inches × 3 wide, they are made of phenolics, they are available online.
👍👍👍🦊
Do vandals burn those bridges?
I love when you let Zorito run fast. I think maybe 40MPH? Have you ever tested?

65 kmh. Top speed
@@archiemoreno I guesstimated the speed based on railway ties passed per second....lol
Can you build one for a nerow gauge track? And how much?
I’m planning a trip out on the campo side wanna join
Is that the same line where the 1995 Sunset Limited derailment took place one?
Yes it is .
Heber Portales Saddle gracias

I remember he said in 1 of his videos that it went up to about 40MPH

I enjoy your rides going different places I’d love to build a rail cart and go for a ride on the rails
