    She's not being excessively rough at all. I've seen rough groomers, and she's not doing anything remotely rough or aggressive. You have to make sure a dog stays still when you're using potentially dangerous equipment around them. I've seen dogs lay their tongues open just by licking at a pair of sharp shears. Plus, the skin needs to be pulled taut, so the dog doesn't get cut when she's using the stripping knife.

    @JennyLappas: I have a black cocker spaniel. He is a very loyal pet, very intelligent, and he does not shed a lot. However, he is very aggressive towards other dogs and he tends to bark a lot...

    she is not rough. for safety reason, groomer has to be firm, making sure dogs have to stay still for the haircut.

      I always think until you've been bitten and scratched by a dog on the grooming table, you don't get an opinion on grooming restraint.

    poor cocker.. why groomers have so rough hands.. I am uncomfortable..
    People should be more respectful for treating animals.

      It’s not rough or painful it’s a safety thing proper breeders groomers and anyone who owns dogs should know that it is not hurting them it is keeping them safe
