Oh my! Since this episode, I will never look a the handrail on the entrance to the Chateau as I did before. Tracy pointing out that the design had to be done by a man was hysterical. More power to all of you for not opting to change the handrail at unnecessary and great expense. Mark & Scott

Such a lovely restoration of the left side of the chateau including the staircase with the supporting stair wall. Yes, the stairs do look freshly original as when new. When the picture came up when you guys first saw the place versus the great care to make her glorious again today, I could not help but gasp and smile. The window hard ware looks marvelous! Wow!! You all are just my kind of people. Thanks for loving restoration and making the old home shine. This was fun! See you again soon!!

Tracy reminds me of my mom, not in appearance, but in her willingness to come along side, as my mom did when she helped my dad, we kids and her friends to accomplish their projects. She was “all in” (fully committed) like Tracy, and I miss her a lot. A most loving and encouraging mother…. I’m happy you have Tracy at your side cheering you on and sharing her special talents with you. Here’s to living life together!

No insult intended to the others, but your mum is the most natural and gifted artisan at the Chateau. I noted that you planned to paint the shutters white, once they are repaired. From one of the old photos you have shown, they seem to have been painted a dark colour. I think a dark plum colour would be amazing in contrast to the granite and buff-coloured stone. They were that adventurous a century or two ago.

I love it without the shutters. It's shows the beautiful granite stones that really show off the architecture.
I would consider just what they do for you with the new windows. You may not need them.

Congratulations on all your beautiful work thus far. The chateau is infused with your love, determination, and labor. It really shows and I'm sure the feel of the space is also, serene and welcoming.

You're not the only Chateau owners with that style of railing and I'm glad you finally acknowledged the fact that once you see it you can't unsee it. 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Frisky French!!

What an amazing change! The stairs and that side of the chateau look glorious. You two have done and amazing job. As a mother that works with my son, I love seeing the two of you working together and taking this beautiful home to a new level. Such a pleasure to watch.

You all learn new skills every day, Ash, and grow more and more competent. The chateau has really pushed and you have responded, as a result she grows more beautiful every video.
