Your devotion, enthusiasm for the Chateau is transmitted to the whole environment. One has the impression the Chateau has regained its dignity, it is alive, one has the impression it is smiling. And in fact it is. The surrounding is prolific, the dogs are the most happy ones, the chicken are free. You achieved what nobody before had, all they were able to do was abandoning and forgetting everything. It is like a fairy tale. All my admiration. Maria
Like Ash saying”we have just decided” then Terry scrabbling like mad to explain why he “just did”this then that happened. Couldn’t,t help smiling all of you fabulous😂
Sometimes it's really hard to fathom just how capable Tracy is, it seems she can do everything. I was shocked when I saw how she helped lift that huge gate stone. I want her to be on my team. Of course, all of the family members work extremely hard. What a great family!
Well I stopped breathing when youcwere lifting those big stones. You were all wonderfull but Tracy was amazing lifting those stones. My hat goes of to you all
So glad you decided not to rely on pushing the stones back, but rather to rebuild it. It is certainly something you would have needed to revisit again later. So now it is done!
It was amusing to see how both mother and son reacted when they thought the gate was going to fall over. They did not hesitate to lunged forward to rescue the falling gate. Great minds think alike.🇨🇦
The way the chateau will work for you is becoming evident with every job you complete, your own private entrance and parking, your own outdoor space.. Gosh Tracey must so fit...you all love building stone walls don't you....well done.
What’s interesting is that after all your experience rebuilding stone walls, you’re not in the intimidated by doing this. You’ve come a long way!! Bravo.
OMG....Somebody send this family a Chiropractor, Massage Therapist and HOT TUB. My body is aching watching you move the stone. Absolutely amazing job! A normal day at the Chateau!!
Held my breath for the safety of fingers and toes during the unexpected rebuilding of the side entrance wall. As usual, Terry, Tracy and Ashe use their amazing team work skills to get it done! Seriously, the Lalacelle crew have become masters in stone wall restoration. Lovely!
So pleased to see that you decided to take the wall down and rebuild it better and stronger! Had it been left, it would have been an accident waiting to happen at some point as it was really wobbly. Good call, Terry!
In this weeks Episode of What it Takes to Build the Pyramids, we see Terry, Ash, Jonathon and Traci do some heavy lifting of boulders once again. ;-) Just kidding! This sounds like backbreaking never ending work, but we know you'll do the work right! Can't wait to see the episode!
Love the results of the stonework you've all done. Am so impressed!!! Love the large stone finds to make a birdbath bubbler or fountain. Very creative. Looking beautiful!!!
That bird bath, or what ever it is, gives me the good chills. As far as the gate entrance, when I saw the rubble I thought, “no matter. Terry and Tracy can fix that”.
Tracy ... is there ANYTHING that daunts this woman??? Watching her heave those enormous lumps of granite was extraordinary. Such a worthwhile job - and well done for showing the initial attempts to nudge everything back into place. It was worth a try, but it would have been inherently unstable and dangerous. Such a lovely set of gates too, and brilliant to create your private parking access away from the front of the chateau 🥰
My dad also! He would have Loved to be right there helping too! He'd say, what the heck are you doing? Do it this way. His & Terry's need for perfection makes everything they do, last & look great!
Just shows how really genuine you people are. Love "doing it right the first time" the locals can see how real you all are about your beautiful Chateau. And how lucky we aretogo along for your journey.
The great thing is that you are living in a world of stone…and you have gotten really good at dealing with stone. Look where you started from and look where you are now! Your combined skill set has grown so much. Do now when you are presented with anew problem you know what to do. And each time it happens, your skill bank grows. Huge respect and Bravo to you all. I am a very minor contributor, but so proud to support you in any little way. And, by the way, your using the grand old ocean liners for style inspiration is brilliant. All chateaux are not meant to be copies of everything Marie Antoinette might have done. We revere those in the past for their brilliance and imagination. We revere you for yours.
Looks great. Remember, any job worth doing, it's worth doing right. Even when it may take a little more time, or isn't in the plan, doing it right the first time saves so much time in the long run. It really looks great, and I'm sure the neighbors appreciate all the work as well.
Uh ohhhh someone left Terry alone 😅 It looks great, eventually every wall is going to be restored! Back breaking work, but the end result is always worth it. Have a great week family😊
It amazes me what you all can do. You are making this chateau the beautiful lady it once was. I don’t know how Tracy does it. I could never do the work she does.
Glad they decided to dismantle the stonework and repair it properly. Beating on the stones with sledge hammers and backhoe booms will only lead to further damage. What's one more project, after all? These guys are no strangers to hard work, and I know they will be pleased with the finished results.
Every episode it feels like a new breath of fresh air for this old lady. She's finally coming back to life to be part of a new family and she keeps giving you little gifts to show her appreciation ❤️ What a wonderful journey. Ive been watching since the very beginning and it never gets boring watching you guys 😊
Soak your blocks, bricks & stones in water so they absorb as much water as possible before you set them. This keeps them from drawing moisture from your lime render or concrete mortar and weakening it. ❤️🙏
As you said, having a private entrance for you and the volunteers makes a lot of sense. Brilliant work. Funny, I was just recently wondering about the caravans. I'm assuming that's where the volunteers will stay. Again, brilliant!
Together you guys are one awe inspiring work machine. The three of you wrestling those heavy stone blocks was just epic. I think Tracy’s amazing work ethic has been a tremendous inspiration to many of us. Well done, as always.
I love that you have all the pieces to the back entrance. It will be so handy when it's finished, and I know you will make it beautiful as well. Can't wait to see the whole area finished. Wonderful job you are doing for the beautiful old 'lady'.
I laughed so hard at Ash’s bemused expression as he was describing his shock at returning to find not only the gate removed, but the stone wall in ruins as well! Terry looked so sheepish explaining his side of the story, while Tracy laughed. Ash- you know you can’t leave Terry alone with large stones and heavy duty machinery! Let this be a lesson to you! Great episode and the wall looks very sturdy now. 😂
The fence looks wonderful. Tracy deserved two gins this night. God Bless her. 😊 That place will eventually be sorted but my God the maintenance. I have a bit more than average lot here in California. And a very old house. And it’s very small actually. But I can not keep up. You all are amazing. ❤
Hello to all of you. I am so surprised by How strong you are as a team. You young fella’s better watch out…. Mom’s working up some might muscles for a woman of her age. Best be good or she could really lay a whelping on ya! You are actually ROCKING 🪨 🪨 🪨 it Mrs Tracy. Smile on in the love you all share.
I cannot believe it!!!!!! Terry worked in the garden by the caravans then worked on the small rock wall by the caravan, then he helped take a rusty gate off and finally he and Tracy refitted granite slabs back into the pillar and repointed the wall all the while wearing a WHITE SHIRT. I cannot even eat a meal without something getting on my shirt. HOW DOES HE DO IT LOL
Silly me, thinking the digger would just push the pillar stones back in place and be done with it! LOL Has Terry ever looked at anything and thought "nope, can't do that."?? You all amaze me on a weekly basis!
The answer when you are so tried and you can't be bothered cooking after a very hard days work, fish and chips and a bottle of pop. Well done all.😁❤👩💼

It is like a fairy tale.
All my admiration. Maria
OMG, I can't believe how hard Tracey works. She truly is the backbone of that work crew.
Well ......ONE of the backbones, anyway.......if we're being picky!!
Tracy is definitely owed a spa day after this... in fact the lot of you need one!
I can hear my mom: if something is worth doing, do it well. She is right. It is such a pleasure watching you tick off the "just" jobs.
Thanks Desire 😊😊
So agree! I get a bit of a giggle every time I hear ‘we just need to’
Yes I can hear my granddad saying the same thing
I keep telling you guys, Tracy needs a good vacation. She can do it all and she deserves to be fully rewarded. Mark & Scott
Like Ash saying”we have just decided” then Terry scrabbling like mad to explain why he “just did”this then that happened.
Couldn’t,t help smiling all of you fabulous😂
The fact that you don’t cut corners in most of what you do makes all the difference.
I think the neighbours know that the whole district will benefit from the Chateau being up and running:)
Whole new meaning to "rock on"
Sometimes it's really hard to fathom just how capable Tracy is, it seems she can do everything.
My hat goes of to you all
I'm impressed by Tracey's strength. She's a real Wonderwoman! Well done you three. Another great job done.
Tracy seems to have come into her own, she’s seems happier and much more relaxed. And I dare y’all to tell her to stop working so hard! Crack on!
Labor produces the fruits of joy ,peace, love
The wall where the gate was really does look much better. You all are wall professionals now.
You bet the neighbors are appreciative of what you've done. This is not wasting time. Well done everyone 😊
It looks great and glad to see it being fixed properly it makes it much safer.
The way the chateau will work for you is becoming evident with every job you complete, your own private entrance and parking, your own outdoor space.. Gosh Tracey must so fit...you all love building stone walls don't you....well done.
Patrick looks so regal standing there surveying the work as it’s done😊❤🐶
What’s interesting is that after all your experience rebuilding stone walls, you’re not in the intimidated by doing this. You’ve come a long way!! Bravo.
OMG....Somebody send this family a Chiropractor, Massage Therapist and HOT TUB. My body is aching watching you move the stone. Absolutely amazing job! A normal day at the Chateau!!
That is a lovey stone and is placed so nicely! Birds and Butterflys will be very happy there!
Held my breath for the safety of fingers and toes during the unexpected rebuilding of the side entrance wall. As usual, Terry, Tracy and Ashe use their amazing team work skills to get it done! Seriously, the Lalacelle crew have become masters in stone wall restoration. Lovely!
I never cease to be amazed how beautifully and professionally you achieve every task you tackle. ❤
Your mom is a big help and a strong worker-she kicks butt!!
So pleased to see that you decided to take the wall down and rebuild it better and stronger! Had it been left, it would have been an accident waiting to happen at some point as it was really wobbly. Good call, Terry!
Tracey seems fearless!

Correction, Terry Tracy and Jonathan. Ash will be hard at work arranging himself on a sunbed 😉🥂
@@jimmyconnolly3461 I was Jimmy. Could you not tell 😂😂
I’ve still to watch this one. Prepare yourself for my observations. 😉
Love the results of the stonework you've all done. Am so impressed!!! Love the large stone finds to make a birdbath bubbler or fountain. Very creative. Looking beautiful!!!
I can’t believe you got those giant stones in place by hand. It looks fantastic.❤
That bird bath, or what ever it is, gives me the good chills.
As far as the gate entrance, when I saw the rubble I thought, “no matter. Terry and Tracy can fix that”.
Splendid work and Ash is right about the neighnours- they'll appreciate you all the more.
Thank you 🙏 😊
Isn't it amazing how they never quit? They work so unbelievably hard!
I'm remembering when Tracey first learned to point on the bathroom wall. And the wall seemed so big...and now she's pointing by the mile!
You are all really getting things done!!! 🥰🎶❤️🌻🦋 My goodness!!! You are all Jacks and Jills of ALL SKILLS AND TRADES!!! 🥰🎶❤️🌻🦋
I just love tracy
The background music is spectacular 🎼
This is one of those times when I expect you all stand away and I amazed that you all don’t look like Charles Atlas.
“It isn’t a WE!” 😂😂😂 Oh Tracy! You know you wanted it down too! 😍
so sweet how sir patrick is always there to help.
Love seeing Patrick digging holes in the ground. He must be the happiest dachshound around! 🐕

Terry’s eye for perfection and doing it right makes my heart sing. I’ve said it before, if only my dad could have seen your channel.
He is thank you G B
My dad also! He would have Loved to be right there helping too! He'd say, what the heck are you doing? Do it this way. His & Terry's need for perfection makes everything they do, last & look great!

Thank you Jo! Yup it’s our fault leaving him unattended 😂😂
That upturned stone fountain is brilliant, what an inspired idea.
This entrance has a great aspect into the grounds of the chateau
It's such a pleasure to see how committed you all are to doing quality work. I applaud you all!
The stone may have been for some kind of small animal processing .
Your team work never ceases to amaze. You have become masters of repairing rock walls....this is our favorite video,,,Bravo.
It amazes me what you all can do. You are making this chateau the beautiful lady it once was. I don’t know how Tracy does it. I could never do the work she does.
Oh Terry, you are so right! Build it back properly and all of you will be so happy. Good job!
Unbelievable work. I’m subscribing as a tribute to you guys and your beautiful mom. Just an amazing journey. Thanks
Glad they decided to dismantle the stonework and repair it properly. Beating on the stones with sledge hammers and backhoe booms will only lead to further damage. What's one more project, after all? These guys are no strangers to hard work, and I know they will be pleased with the finished results.
That’s a good way to get to know your neighbours! Bravo guys! Well done
Terry your poor mother is going right to heaven, bless her!
That looks like a bird bath to me. It’s amazing.
Thanks Ann. We love it 😊
Oh boy Tracey you are one very strong lady, well done. You are all very hard workers. Congratulations on getting your gate post rebuilt.
Thanks Lynn 😊
Every episode it feels like a new breath of fresh air for this old lady. She's finally coming back to life to be part of a new family and she keeps giving you little gifts to show her appreciation ❤️
What a wonderful journey. Ive been watching since the very beginning and it never gets boring watching you guys 😊
Listen to all of those beautiful birds singing in the background! We love France in the spring and summer! ❤️🙏
Soak your blocks, bricks & stones in water so they absorb as much water as possible before you set them. This keeps them from drawing moisture from your lime render or concrete mortar and weakening it. ❤️🙏
Thank you 😊

You have to absolutely collapse at the end of the day, what a lot of work you put in every day. Guessing pain relievers are in your future, lol.
Good to see Ash again - he hasn’t been on the videos much lately. Great work everyone ❤
Wow!! Is there nothing you guys can't do. I have never seen such work ethic and talent in a family. Watching your videos give me so much inspiration.
I feel like I am part of your restoration! Thanks for including your viewers!😊

Sounds like my son and Dad together. And their arguing about the "right" way of doing things
Oh wow. Where there's a will there's a way. Your neighbours must be so pleased you bought the chateau. Well done.x
Hello to all of you. I am so surprised by How strong you are as a team. You young fella’s better watch out…. Mom’s working up some might muscles for a woman of her age. Best be good or she could really lay a whelping on ya!

You can now honestly say that you are all stone mason experts congratulations fantastic job ….
Just watching this now. I think it’s fair to say, we all missed me.❤️🥂xx
That was pretty amaizing watching you rebuild the wall by hand. Team work makes dream work.
You can use your metal detector to find the other gate hinge in the dirt around the gate.
It could be used for baptism but the drain on the side is more for a birdbath very interesting find and fabulous teamwork all the best 😊
You can be very proud of that wall and pillar, you are all turning into proper masons. A very professional looking job!
This is looking so good. I like the idea of a private entrance
Every job you guys do you take your time and do it properly! Your patience amazes me and you are all tireless worker bees!
Nothing is never easy for you all, but it is so worth it in the end. It looks much better.❤
Thanks Peter 😊
Even Johnathan helped. Way to be there young man. 😊❤
Lesson learned do not leave Terry alone. 😂😂😂😂
Seems like the Chateau is picking the work for you. Looks great
That gate wall was looking so wanky and unstable.. Glad you decided to rebuild it. Great job! Looks beautiful!
Honestly incredible
The birds will love it!!! Also the big stone would make a beautiful garden fountains with water coming over top. ❤️
Silly me, thinking the digger would just push the pillar stones back in place and be done with it! LOL Has Terry ever looked at anything and thought "nope, can't do that."?? You all amaze me on a weekly basis!
No never 😂😂👍 but we love him for that 👍😊
Wow you all are amazing, can't wait to see it done.👏❤️🍻
Looks like a bird bath. Its lovely! Amazing job on the gates, guys and Tracy!
