This band just inspired me to get back into playing metal. I have played guitar for 20 years. Kind of fell out of metal for a bit and while I don't regret playing various styles...holy shit. The energy and emotions involved in this band and music grabs you. I'm glad to have found them through their singers collab with Syu. I had fallen down the Japanese music youtube rabbit hole and eventually here....fan for life!!!!!!

her voice really pulls the track together, pretty cool stuff. musically and technically speaking the song itself is fantastic, but once her voice is thrown in the mix, the harmonious link between all entities really sums entirely together as one functioning meld.
This is great music, and I support any Metal music that reaches the public sphere, but I'd argue that Japan is mostly 10 years behind in terms of innovation in Metal. Most of the innovation is still happening in Europe and America. The most innovation in Metal that has come from Japan at the moment is Ichika_Mo/Among the Sleep (which I recommend checking out because the guitarist is phenomenal and a breath of fresh air to the genre). I do wish the vocal style of Unlucky Morpheus could come back to Metal though because she's fucking badass. I think Sweden, Poland/Norway, UK, and a few Metal bands from USA are breathing the most life into Metal music as far as innovation goes.

They have great indie rock bands but I can count the good bands from Japan in metal on one hand. The first song that made me fall in love with this band even though I'm a baby metal fan but the sound of fukki violin jill and his fumiya games is so cool because their skills are all above average I'm a fan from Indonesia only Japanese musicians can make heavy metal music sensations more unique and cool
The cool thing about her singing is with or without English lyrics you understand her passion good job hun keep it up

When you take a chance with recommendations.. and i absolutely fell in love with Unlucky Morpheus Oh my god Fuki's voice is amazing I bloody love her voice , I'm discovering Jill's other work and she's an amazing musician.. and seeing Shiren from Yousei Teikoku in Unlucky Morpheus is like seeing an old friend .. I absolutely love this band
I wounder if they have any plans to play shows, or even tour in the west now that they are getting attention in the western parts of the world, and Fuki having done a couple of interviewsin english because of it? I would so love to see them do a tour here in the US! Imagine if a big Lable like Road Runner, or Nuclear Blast picked these guys up!
Back a few years ago Fuki said she REALLY wanted to tour in the US, but didn't think her English was good enough to get by. So maybe soon? I hope, I'm such a huge fan!
