- Now that the EG33 Swapped Subaru WRX STI is running and has an acceptable tune on it we can start making the car streetable again! Overall yes the car is technically "street-legal" for where I live. The only thing that may be considered illegal is the decibel level of the car. Maybe ill build an exhaust silencer lmao. So we need to fit up some turn signals, make a bumper fit around the intercooler piping, build the rest of the exhaust, and much more. But Blue is coming back!

Loving the fender flare idea. Gotta be honest, not a fan of the giant wing. OEM would look way better, imo. At your power level, though, I’m sure the giant wing helps. OEM+ FTW!
Looking for an OE wing to swap someone with but if no one pops up I don't mind rocking the big apr one for now 😅
I think not doing a widebody was the right move, the stock va body just looks so good in my opinion. I was recently watching some of your older vidoes and i couldn't help but gush over how good the sti looked with the white works
The wide body did not look too bad but it overall kust felt TOO WIDE. Something more subtle would be 👌

They sell round to oval transitions that would suit your needs to clear the bumper and maintain a true I.D size. Im not sure if they come as aluminum but I know they do in 404 Stainless. OR do a high grade 3D printed charge pipe. If it works as an intake manifold for a 1000k+ build im sure it can survive 30+psi

Are we There yet ? cannot wait ..hey the other day I was leaving the cars and coffee in mistone NJ and I was with a friend he had his 2012 Stang sweet ride I had my 2021 STI nothing much but a cobb catback and Cobb hp air box with the Cobb port and A 1998 GTR 34 at the show as well we had a chance to run on Route 33 going to Ausbury park .. we hit 120 plus but that beast had a huge turbo not sure the HP if I had yours Different story .. I held 5th until he spooled he pulled on me than i dropped 6th but I started pulling shortly after that.. Long Story short Yours might be a super car killer .

its a good thing that you are replacing those pipes to and from your intercooler. i did not think a small flat spot would cause so many issues. but once you decrease the surface area in a pipe the area beyond that does not magically refill. under WOT this would increase your air temps and decrease the amount of air you get into the engine.

The big Northwest was epic before entry met the owner of tomioka racing. Got to hang out with all my closest Subaru enthusiast friends. Got to check out a garage find Ken block rally car raced against Colin McCrae. At the post meet Captain Bucky Lasek signed my left hand drive airbag delete cubby. Saw Devin and thought oh my God everyday is bicep day. Wish you were there!

I put the sti lip on my 2019 wrx a few weeks ago and love it, I think its the best lip for the car

I tested some LED's by using a normal 9V small battery to find which one did the thing I was trying to get it to do via a relay. It will power the LED's surprisingly.

I can drift the car exiting turns now. lol I had to chop my 2019 bumper, but I have the base model, so no fog lights. The Perrin intercooler was too big to fit without trimming.

haltech canbus isn't fully compatible with the subaru oem canbus system for the newer years. So oem vss and etc on the oem canbus will not work with the canbus
Odd thing is I have had it working prior with the OEM Wheel speed sensors using the last gen Software. I know I have made it work before, I just have to figure out how I did lol

hey man, i know its a lot of fab work to do on an almost done car and a bit late. but its a thought. you might be able to angle the intercooler pipes coming off the end tanks of the cooler to have them point towards the back of the car and give you a bit more clearance to wrap them tighter. a few degrees of angle pointing towards the back of the car will free up a decent amount of space behind the bumper.
I just need a diffrent core tbh, I've debated buying the ETS core where the inlet and outlet are ontop vs center like mine is. But I 100% agree with ya

Losing the wing, and an oem hood would help look more stock/sleeper. Why not go with the S209 flares to keep the OEM+ look?
The S209 flares don't really add any width to the car. Can't get oem and the replica ones are all 3M stick on. The wing I'm looking to trade for an OEM one. 🤝

@Smeedia mine won't ever sound like that hahah just finished up the longevity mods for my 19 sti... i do have a question. Mods are cobb AOS, cobb catted DP, cobb Titanium exhaust, perrin tmic, and CSF radiator. Its on a Cobb OTS. My question is will the get-a-dom mod help out with cooling that #4 cylinder? Or will the car be okay without it? Other non power adder mods: 1piece Carbon fiber driveshaft, ACT heavy duty street clutch and streetlite flywheel.
