If a friend told me they were staying at Casino Royale I would've tried my best to get them to change their mind before watching this video. Very surprised how nice and clean the room looks. The fridge and coffee maker are icing on the cake. Thanks!
This is where I stayed when I visited Las Vegas for the first time in October. It was like a quarter of the price of all the other hotels and was perfect for walking to other casinos from. The bar was really fun with those $3 beers.
Stayed there on my last trip, was my first time. Hotel is clean, location is perfect , no resort fee, quiet in the room. Will definitely be staying there again and highly recommend it to anyone that is having doubts about it.
O.K. Ruby...I am officially obsessed with your channel! I actually live in Vegas and I love to try out the hotels for mini staycations in town...I love how you break everything down and show us everything about each hotel...accommodations...price...food...gambling....everything! I am totally binge watching your videos right now! Love the content and love the videos! So happy I found your channel!
It's unfortunate Casino Royale removed it's table games. Other than the small kidney shaped pool there's absolutely nothing wrong with this property on the strip. CR 's location is prime. Thanks Ruby, for staying where most won't.
I stayed in Casino Royale this year, and it was great. Early check in, no lines, friendly staff, great location. For some reason this november prices went over the roof in other Hotels
I used to stay at the Casino Royale late 90s, very early 2000s for 3 day weekends. The comps were crazy back then. I had a $200 budget for the weekend (which was plenty with 25 cents roulette, one dollar black jack and craps, 9 cents a spins on slots) and that was enough to earn 3 free nights a month, meals a Dennys and Subway and for every dollar earned on the card club you will get a free spin at a slot with a guaranteed $1 win. I would earn about 10 spins per stay and win between $30 to $50 from those spins. The good old days!
I feel like every day I go to my husband saying, “Travel Ruby says…” with a new tip or trick! Can’t wait to show him those milkshakes!! Definitely adding a trip to our honeymoon in April!
Have not stayed on the strip in at least 5 years due to resort fees parking fees etc. The room looks very decent. Might have to try it one of these days. But we really like The Nugget and Circa though
With you on this, the corporations want to get greedy with parking and resort fees then ill stsy away from their properties. If i wanted to be nickled and dimed to death, i would just visit San Francisco. At least i would have more entertainment options then 10 variations of the same Cirq du sole show
Great to know the rooms are nice and clean, when in town we always ended up there late night to gamble and drink and I remember when they $1 beers during the week
I think upstairs there is an Outback Steak house too. Great location on the strip. Walk across to Mirage or Caesars. Lots of stuff around there. I too miss the table games. $5 Craps, no more.
Yes, thanks, Ruby... My Father and I loved Casino Royale - he passed at 80 in November and I watch your vids every weeknight since they won't let me fly... And I'm finished driving through the dessert...
The Club Royal card also used to come with the ability to get coupons weekly, but those went away from that a few years precovid. The casino floor also used to have a craps table that allowed you to bet 100x odds which was the highest on the strip. Casino Royal doesn't look terrible, but it kinda depresses me from what it used to be
Back in the day, Casino Royale was known for the $1 bottle of Michelob. We always tipped another buck each beer, and the bartenders loved us. Loved that place when I was a young scrub, had a blast playing 50-cent roulette, and could drink all night for almost free.
Wow! Looks like a low-key little casino in the middle of everything. Big PLUS, is that the room was spotlessly clean. Definitely, in our top 10 places to stay the next time we're out in Vegas. Thanks, Ruby for yet another fantastic video!
Thank you for reviewing Casino Royale. I've always wondered about their rooms, and I was impressed. Casino Royale used to be a favorite gambling spot for us, until they did away with their table games. Thank you for your reviews, I really enjoy watching them all.
Loved this video. We have stayed there twice when we couldn’t get comps anywhere at the weekend and have no complaints at all. Like you said all the staff were lovely and location is amazing. Room to,strip in 30 seconds!!! 😄👍
When we were going to Vegas every year, we would go to the Royal. Loved everything about it. Party casino, fun people and hot dogs are great. Loved this video!
I love CR and was wondering if you’d review it! It’s pretty basic but was the first hotel I ever stayed in Vegas so it (and that entire end of the Strip) holds a special place in my heart ✨ I’ll never stop being sad about there no longer being a Cinnabon in their food court though lol.
Hey, I’ve been watching your Vlog for some time and I don’t normally comment, however just wanted to say thanks! I appreciate what you do. The quality and the information and the views are very well done and most certainly helpful. Great job!
Back when I first started going to Vegas in the early 00s, Casino Royale was my favorite place to play table games. The minnimum bets were cheaper than pretty much every other place on the strip. I especially loved playing roulette and craps there. I always had a blast at Casino Royale. In July 2021 I took my first trip to Vegas in a little over a decade and I paid a visit to Casino Royale and was really bummed to see they got rid of all their table games.
Ruby, I enjoy your channel very much. Thanks for the review on Casino Royale. I remember back in the day when you could play craps and blackjack for $1, and bottles of Heiken and Coronas were $1 all day long. I'm sorry to hear they got rid of table games. That place was always hopping! Stay safe.
Thanks for doing this video. I’ve thought about staying here; I’ve always stopped at the White Castle. I might give this place a try; the location isn’t bad, and I only need a room for a shower and to sleep.
Very nicely put together video and very entertaining as well. Sad to see the table games gone. I used tp play mini craps there and had a blast. It is still a very nice casino and the Hot Dogs are great as well. Thanks for posting this.
Great video Ruby! I'm looking forward to staying there! I knew about the cheap beers (margaritas as well) but not the hot dogs! Will definitely be trying those!
Great video! It’s a great option for those who travel on a budget and don’t want the extra resort fees. I have no problem staying at a Best Western locally or for a short trip but I wanna do it big in Vegas lol. Can you stay at Treasure Island or the Palazzo, if you haven’t already?
Keep in mind that if a place has a resort fee, there is a chance for the fee to be comp'ed. Some times you just have a ask! Momma always said "closed mouths don't get fed". good review Ruby! You are the best!
Been staying and playing here for years, great employees, and nice rooms. Unfortunately it has become very sketchy and not a place to be late at night anymore.
Thanks for this video. I usually stay at mirage but always wondered what Casino Royale rooms were like as such a good location for a decent price. Doesn't look that bad at all and if you're not going to be using the room too much being at back of hotel isn't really a problem plus would be quieter. Definitely may consider if I want to go on a budget.
I’ve been going to Vegas for years and always stop at this casino to gamble a few bucks, but I had no clue it was also a hotel until watching this… I’m so surprised. I always thought it was just a tiny casino with some shops around it! You can’t even see a hotel from the street!
Hi, I have been following you for awhile, thanks for your review, I am staying at CR soon and have read really bad reviews, but I stayed at flamingo beginning of year and being slung $50.00 for resort fees really hurt for 2 weeks plus I thought it was just average, so I am booking on your review, don’t let me down,I don’t need a pool if I wanted water I’d go to a beach thank you from Australia 😅😅😅😅😅😅 ps no charging ports or kettle either
A big plus is NO resort fees and a ton of outlet/receptacles and a huge desk. Impressive. King bed? Coffee and a little refer? Stairs? "Don't worry, they have an elevator". Just slots, no table games. Late January, '22. Who is filming? Your partner. Harrah's next door has a great piano bar!
The bar at the Casino Royale is my favorite in all of Las Vegas. It is cheap and they make the best long islands on the strip. Last time I went they even had my favorite IPA on tap (Vodoo Ranger Juice). Love this place. Will be back in December. Can't wait.
I really enjoy your videos, there very informative and I love your honest opinions. I would've never ever even considered this hotel at all but it actually looks pretty decent. I'm headed to V in 2 weeks and haven't decided on a hotel yet. Stayed at Caesars last year, it was fantastic but I didn't want to go so fancy this year. Looking at the Flamingo, Bally's and now possibly Casino Royale. Love being in the middle of the strip though. Keep up the good work Ruby❣
Thanks for the review, good to know about not having table games. For that reason I wouldn't stay there, but it is nice to see clean rooms without resort fees...
It's a good place for older people too as you have a short walk to the strip. Some of the big hotels take you 20 minutes to get to the actual street. Also, check-in and check-out - you often have no one in the line. I have seen the check-in line at the Flamingo and thought wow - you'll be there for 30 minutes or more. At the Casino Royale(BW) it's like 2-3 minutes. Someone at the Luxor was telling me that they had to pay $20 or $25 a day extra for a coffee machine on top of a resort fee. It is true though that this place can cost more than say Bally's (Horseshoe) even with their resort fee included. That is the other hotel I usually stay at. Both are in good locations - Ballys I liked them because they had big clean rooms and it has a more "Las Vegas" feel given the views and bigger casino floor and connected to Paris etc. So I sorta think if you have never been to Las Vegas - stay at Horshoe (I think they give you the bar fridge at least) so you get that Vegas feel. But if you have been to Vegas a lot and you are not going for the pool thing - this Best Western is the hidden gem - cheap food, right on the strip - saves a bunch of time - Walgreens is right next to this casino as well so you can stock up the fridge for cheap and avoid the tourist trap prices.
Thanks for watching! What hotel would you like to see me visit next?
M please
South Point
Tropicana and Four Queens
Trump please
More properties in downtown. Fremont is where the real action is!
You missed a major hidden gem of this place. It has the CHEAPEST atm fee of anywhere on the strip. Last time I used it, it was only $2-3.
Great tip!
One of these days there will be a casino that takes crypto for free.
@@enmodo pretty sure resorts world is working on that
2,,,bingo
Good looking out on the pro tip. Def helps when I'm gambling at Venetian, Mirage, or nearby.
If a friend told me they were staying at Casino Royale I would've tried my best to get them to change their mind before watching this video. Very surprised how nice and clean the room looks. The fridge and coffee maker are icing on the cake. Thanks!
Both are nearly impossible to find and are greatly appreciated

That room really does not look bad at all specially for the price, cant wait to see all the videos from your most recent trip!
It's unfortunate Casino Royale removed it's table games. Other than the small kidney shaped pool there's absolutely nothing wrong with this property on the strip. CR 's location is prime. Thanks Ruby, for staying where most won't.
Neil...sup buddy! 😉
They plan to hopefully return the table games in the future.
Agreed. I won't stay there if they don't have table games.
Like all of their table games are gone? If that's the case, that's unfortunate.
I stayed in Casino Royale this year, and it was great. Early check in, no lines, friendly staff, great location. For some reason this november prices went over the roof in other Hotels

I'm actually impressed with the room. It was way cleaner than I was expecting.
Stayed several times - it’s a decent choice! No joke.
We love Casino Royale. It is one of our favorites and we go every time we visit Vegas. Yes, those hotdogs are amazing. Thanks for the review Ruby.
It has a 'divey' feel yes.........but it also is one of our favs to goto to gamble and drink!
I absolutely love the casino at Casino Royal! Is such a fun place to gamble. Great review Ruby!
Omg, it's been quite the Monday Ruby! This is just what I needed! Hugs!!!!!!!! 🤗

Another very informative, honest review! I would not have considered Casino Royale for any part of a Vegas trip, but I will now.

Thanks Ruby, we are heading down soon, this is good to know, especially for the cheap drinks ! Will definitely consider it for a stay! 💙♥️🇨🇦
Great video. Tried the Casino Royale hotdogs with friends when we were there in Nov. Thanks for the recommendation. We all enjoyed them!!!

I’ve stayed at this place 7 years ago. Loved it
I have stayed there before and was also pleasantly surprised with the room.
You both do an excellent job with these videos; they are always interesting, entertaining, and informative.
Agreed
I love casino royale! Such a fun little casino. You played my favorite Wheel Of Fortune machine. Love that second chance feature!
Great video! Casino Royale is one of my favorites on the strip and a must go to every time I am there.
Just a Ruby fan, Hopper is Awesome! Walked past this casino and now I really want to go! No Resort Fees is the only way I will go to Las Vegas!
Great Video Guys.. I've always wondered about the hotel.. We Love the Vibe there , Fun gambling and drinking spot for sure...

The unfortunate truth is that dealers cost money. It's far cheaper for a casino to have slot machines and electronic gaming.

The hotdogs are amazing here and the card for casino is the best. They initially match the day $20 and then every $100 you spend you get another $20.
Thanks Ruby! have wanted to see some of the alternate hotels like Casino Royale, Flamingo, and others. Still gonna stay at NYNY though :D
Two of our favorite places in Vegas, Casino Royale and Black Tap! Such a good video!!!
Absolutely agree about the hot dog. 🌭 Great for a quick snack.

Looks really good, love the free coffee in the room, more hotels should do it.
$180 for a weekend night is expensive for that room and hotel.
