Thanks for the note! Yes that may not have been clear. Here's the deal: when one of the 8 columns in your tableau is empty, ANY card may take the empty position. The difference is when you wish to move the King, it can only go to an empty column. In other words, a king can only move to an empty column, but an empty column can be filled with any card. I am confused. At one point, you said only kings can go in an empty spot but earlier in the game you had moved a queen into the empty spot.
