As a kid I remember Herbie Hancock demonstrated a Fairlight on Sesame Street! I didn't know there was a vst version, I'm definitely getting it. Fire beat as always! 🔥
This is great. I love your enthusiasm. There are a few original Fairlight Series III CMIs still working and being used on albums. Check out 'O Monolith' by the band 'Squid'. I used my original 69,000 GBP 16-bit machine on five of the tracks at Real World Studios. Enjoy!! 🙂
I recently got the arturia collection and haven't dove into it that much. I have to give this one a shot! I was mad confused on how it worked but good job tho! 👍🏾
Pushing imported samples of your own, reconfiguring them, and phasing them against one another using pitch controls... magic. This does recreate the original CMI, but they added the ability to go beyond it. This appears to be a a very deceptively primitive tool, but its not. Go through the tutorial and use this to chew up your samples and create something unique.
i love this dudes mpc tutorials...so this things been out for years, sound is as limited as all the other arturia sht, but who cares right? right?! no one remembers, im just some hater right? right?!
