I was set up there for a while and did not see anyone go near the track. What I think happened was that when 2705 ran down to Picton LE it was the first loco to pass through there in some time. The grass had grown fairly high and I think 2705 crushed a lot of it onto the rail head. It was also quite wet from a passing shower, so the perfect conditions to cause the locos to lose traction had been created.
I could watch these clips all day. Nothing beats the "music" of Steam Locomotives. ❤🇦🇺
Must been something different having the 59 doing the Buxton shuttles. Thanks for sharing.
The wheelslip both the 27 and 38 experienced going up the grade was interesting to see
T'was too much of a coincidence if you ask me.

I was most excited to see the Griffith job. Thanks for sharing!
Excellent my friend 😁 Greeting 🙋🏻 Like 👍🏻 from argentina
Now that's how you drive a 38, flat out. Poor green 27 class. They or should I say the 38 sounded awesome, couldn't hear the 27 class.
2:39 this must be the spot for wheelspin
Was this for Thirlmere Festival Of Steam?
