FOLLOW UP: We tried getting season passes last year but by the third visit we decided we did not want to come back. If a company is going to buy something like this you need to invest in its improvement!
I grew up going to Enchanted Village. I loved it. Wild Waves addition was awesome at the time. The best thing at EV was this huge slide you rode using a burlap rug racing your friends down the slide.
We saw where that used to be and talked to an employee for a while. as those slides go, it looked like a really big one! Bet it was fun. And it had Stevens Pass Snowboard/Ski rails on the side still, which we are guessing was its theming. But the slide was gone, removed in 2020 due to wear and tear! I hope they replace it! Thanks for the comment!
By far the nicest review of this place. Went here a week ago and it was one of the most unkept parks I’ve ever been to. I had low expectations but it failed to meet those. Nothing really opened. No identity, overpriced, and a snapshot go just the worst people in Washington. Eccch.
@@Xavier_Coogat_the_Mambo_King No such thing as labor shortage, people will work if they are paid enough and treated well! Can't speak for this park as they don't show wages on their site, which is another not great thing
You know, I have had that (TC here) my whole life - not so much the speeds, but for me its heights and claustrophobic situations (so getting stuck was always a phobia.) It took work and lots of Disney magic to get over it! If it helps at all, I used to SCREAM my head off so there was no way I could embarrass myself anymore...and it worked for me! Good luck and have fun!
Yeah, this video honestly got me pretty down about this park, and confirmed my fears as a soon to be first time parkrgoer. With covid and all, the future is sadly pretty bleak for new parks round these parts. I'll have fun as I can, I guess, and maybe I'll take that trip to Silverwood again sometimes.
Another great Disneyland Beat video.... At 2:11 that sure looks like the Cork Screw that was at Knott's. Sometimes it's fun to go to a park with "mish-mash" theming, they have more a small town carny feel. If you ever make it to Portland there is a diesel powered replica of the Aerotrain called the "Zooliner" as it's at the Washington Park And Zoo. It's a bit bigger in scale than the one at Disneyland. Looks like you all had a great day..... Thanks for a great video and have a great Fourth Of July.....
The Zooliner sounds really cool. Look forward to checking that out someday! Exact same coaster style as the one from Knotts, but that coaster was sold to Silverwood, in Idaho. We have ridden it there. We will visit that park at some point late in the summer probably.
If you're ever on a drive through California's Central Valley (maybe en route to Disneyland) you might make a stop at Gilroy Gardens. It was founded as a family park with an emphasis on horticulture, and features some tame rides and "Circus Trees." Their mine train coaster is just about the right thrill level for me. They recently added a small water park area, and similar to Wild Waves, season passes are very reasonable.
Every year I've been waiting and waiting for this park to get a nice refurbishment. I had a feeling something happened because at one point they were being taken over by six flags. But that makes sense why it's still lame, no more six flags. I loved loved love this water park and fair rides as a teenager. It was everything but compared, it's kind of small and boring. And their food is absolute crap
Let me guess. Wildcat cut those bushes where Baloo von Bruinwald XIII flew his Sea Duck and flew down and cut those bushes if Wildcat ran and ducked under the Sea Duck since Baloo cut those bushes and Wildcat's visor in the Balooest of the Blue Bloods, one of my forty-four favorite episodes of TaleSpin, along with Wildcat's whole appearances during my forty-four favorite episodes of TaleSpin featuring himself, right?
Forgot, have you ever thought of doing a video on "Adventure City Family Amusement Center?" It's address is 1238 South Beach Blvd. It's like a small Disneyland. I think it's still owned by the same family that started it years ago. Stay safe and Stay strong.....
I am from Federal Way. I never once wanted to go to this park. I then went probably around the same time you all did with my nieces and nephews. My time there was not fun as most everything was closed and the things I did go on were not exciting at all. I will not go back.
There actually is another theme park, it is very small and only has one small roller coaster. Most of the rides are for kids. Forgot the name though, it’s in a farm.
Cool! Would love to know it if you remember. There is Oaks in Portland, Silverwood in Athol, Enchanted Forest in Salem, that with WW are the only 4 I know! Outside of the fairs.
Remlinger Farms was my childhood! Rides at the Puyallup Fair were expensive, so my mom and some of her friends would take us to Remlinger Farms as a kind of two in one rides and Halloween thing. Really a great experience for a younger kiddo who likes a variety of rides and activities!

What made you change your mind on coming back?
@@todd3024 Probably the part where they said not wanting to give money to a theme park that doesn't invest in improvement.
I love how wild waves has its water area then its dry rides area. I have been going here since a little kid and it is still amazing.
Awesome!!! We are happy this vid is reaching to true Wild Waves fans!

That slide was incredible! I was really sad to see it wasn't there anymore.

Middle of the pandemic isn't exactly the best time to form your opinion of it. Everywhere has worker shortages right now.

It’s really a low tier park, but as a Washingtonian myself we really cannot complain as it’s literally like the only thing here
That’s why I drive the 6 hrs to Idaho to Silverwood
@@TStorms1369 even more, this is why we drive the 17 hours to Disneyland

We just been there today. It was fun 😀! We got tickets from the owner. It was worth it.
I remember having a birthday there when I was a kid. Still one of my best birthdays.
I love it
Thanks for this! I’m going to wild waves with my BFF and I wanted to know more about it. So thanks :D

Can you do both parks on one day?
You can't do Disneyland by itself in one day. DCA you can. But you will have fun!!
