Modern Radio Theory: Fresnel zone

The Fresnel zone is an ellipsoid of power around an RF link, the size of which is determined by the distance and frequency.
Clearing the zone is important for a good quality link. Obstructions in the zone will cause interference in the form of reflections which can arrive at the receiver out of phase causing degraded reception, nulls or "dead spots".
In this demo the 1st zone is displayed as green when it is clear or red when it is obstructed. To achieve clearance you can either use a difference site, greater height or a higher frequency (shorter wavelength).
