Fantastic detailed information guys. The important lesson is it's not for the faint hearted or ill-prepared!!
Really nice advice guys ! Plain useful information for all of us.
okay - I am not going out in heavy weather!! But I know more of what to do now, will need to rewatch it a few times.
😂 At least you know how to handle a few things out there. I knew we wouldn’t be persuading you after your three peaks challenge!
Great video
Thank you very much. We appreciate the positive feedback 🙌🏼 Check out our other sailing 101’s in our playlist for more helpful info for our on the water. ⛵️
Watched the video when you talked about the Ultra anchor and just watched this video. You were obviously at anchor in the storm but you didn't mention the Ultra, do you still think its worth the price tag?
Hi, thanks for watching! Yeah, we got caught on a lee shore good and proper that night… There was a huge submerged rock only 10m behind us too. The Ultra never budged, personally I would not change it for anything and I think it is superb. We are still testing it and to date it’s the best anchor I have used. For us, the extra price for this anchor is worth it, compared to loosing our boat it’s a small price to pay. Join us on Instagram if you like, easier to chat there.
