awesome I can't wait to get this done. Is too tight really a serious deal? I've seen other guys that go back and loosen the clearance after they made them too tight and they didn't say anything about having a cylinder head blow apart.
@@ipp2109 I set the exhaust to a loose .010/tight .011 and for the intake I set it to a loose .008/tight .009 and now I have a sewing machine tick tick tick sound.

Great content. Thanks for the share.
Can you do an update on the motor kinda curious to see how things went
Torque for the adjustment nut?
Honestly, I don't remember if there was a torque. I belive it was just snug, not tight
It’s 10ft lbs
How do you turn the motor over
How do you turn the engine over to each index mark on the camshaft for the rest of the cylinders?
Put a ratchet with socket (24mm I think?) on the crankshaft bolt. And turn clockwise
Is .025mm the same 0.25mm?
No! They are very different sizes. .025 is going to be much smaller
How do you remove the rocker arm assembly? I overtorqued a bolt
Unfortunately I'm not to sure how. You may have to remove the head. The rockers assembly and head are all one piece from what I remember
@@ipp2109 just asked someone else, he said it's just a couple bolts. Thanks for the quick reply though I appreciate it
I have 170000 on my civic, never had valve clearance checked. Will doing this make my car run better smoother???
Itll run smoother and a lot quieter

Did your car run smoother and quieter after the adjustment?
Yeah a lot smoother and quieter, quite suprising honestly
cares alright can I use shelack instead of gasket sealer
