Exactly, nobody talks about how Okuma reels are sealed, whether the bearings are sealed, where the vaunted 9 bearings *are* in the reel. Junk reels have a ton of bearings, but they are lousy bearings, often unshielded even. The open spool design on this reel means it *needs* to be sealed well at the rotor drive shaft. Is it?
I know that Okuma sizing was usually a bit different then other manufacturers. They did discontinue the ISX reels for 2023 I just found out. Most of the new reels, ITX and others will have a more standard sizing and numbering system. 2,000 - 3,000 etc. Hopefully that will bring them more in line with others.

I got the 40B model, and paired it with a 12ft Okuma Longitude Surf Rod. I hope it works out for 80-90yd casts, because this reel does look a little small for such a giant rod. LOL
Awesome reel my friend I just got mine today can’t wait to fish it but I might need a new rod 😝
You got the new one. This vid is of the old version. I don’t even have the new one yet.
Lightweight. Unit doesn't flex under load. Good features for any light to medium spinners. Thanks!
I really like my Inspira! Closest spinner to my smooth light-weight Helios!
usually a inside look means your going to somewhat disassemble it

Nice review. I bought the 20B and this reel seems small compared to the 20 or 2000 of other manufacturers. Do you know, is that by design?

The 40 size is currently 48$ on amazon right now! 9/20/22
That’s a heck of a deal!
@@DaveysWorldFishing oh yeah, figured I'd spread the luck I'm case anyone watche sthis vid and sees my comment
Would you know what are the differences from the white model vs blue model...I see torsion control, rotor, centrifugal bail and progressive drag..
Same reel. It was just available in two colors . Okuma discontinued the white version about a year or so ago.

Still waiting for that look inside.
Lol. They’ve discontinued this reel already.

Yikes! Might be a little under gunned. But you should certainly hit that distance.
@@DaveysWorldFishing... Well, it's primarily for lightweight surf perch, so the only reason the rod is so long, is for distance. That's about it.
There are so many errors in this video I'm surprised you posted it.
Lol
Ok, Bill Dance... why don’t you let us know everything wrong with this vid? Pffff
So not an inside look to the reel but an outside look of you sitting at a table. The reel wasn't even the centre of the picture. Click bait bullshit.
