- Unfortunately a previous owner had cut the fringes off this rug for reasons unknown.
It had then been discarded and was sitting in a garden mud pool for who knows how long.
A beautiful rug emerged from all the dirt.
I hope you enjoy the carpet cleaning process.

That rug owns more land than I do
It's probably a scottish lord at this moment
It seems a bit more like it was renting it
Has to pay more bills then me

You know you’re in bed and probably should sleep when you’re watching these kinds of videos
Correct. 😁😆😆😅

Literally 3am
Bruh, how did you know? It's 2:15 am rn for me 🤣😅
Although I'm sure it'll not be as much as I think, but you could weigh the rug, both before and after, to see how much dirt you cleaned.
Lol. I was just thinking the same thing.
Rug looked wet so the weight would vary if they dry it after washing
Professional here certified by the IICRC
I'm not positive on the exact weight but a soaking wet (presumably) wool rug like that one can easily ballpark 150+ pounds.
Bigger sizes can approach 400+ lbs. Water is heavy and think rugs can hold a lot of it.
It really just depends on the type of fiber and how thick it is.
@@connorpeppermint8635 i dont think i could believe some random strangers in the internet especially since alot of people make troll accounts to spread misinformation
The age of miracles is not over! What an amazing transformation and so kind of you to donate these rugs. Have a good weekend James.
And you. Thankyou
Can't believe I just watched a near 20 minute video about a filthy rug getting cleaned. Don't regret it at all. It was quite cathartic.
Literally ready to sleep cuz of how relaxing this is. I don't know why but cleaning always relaxes me😭😭
Someone else cleaning, you mean? 🤣🤣🤣
@@silviac221 no when I get upset or stressed out I clean and become relaxed 😭😭
Wow, that thing is gorgeous, can't imagine why would anyone decide to literally bury it. Good thing you've managed to restore it to its former glory!
That's because nobody actually buried it, they just dirtied it up to clean it for RUclips.
@@scarlettetherose nah
@@NadeemAhmed-nv2br you got any proof of that?
Probably was in a flood.
@@salinawaddy2103 I was guessing this too
The story was intriguing, but the real plot twist was when the broom fell off the wall! Love it.
13:36. Thanks for including that part!
Your welcome
I watch these cleaning videos to make sure they're not missing any spots.
The amount of water used is monumental.
carpet is disgusting it needs to be deleted
It's most likely non potable water so they aren't really wasting clean fresh water
If he didnt use a pressure washer it would be worse
It's reclaimed water
There could be a recycling system
Can't wait to watch this again later and take my long awaited Friday post university nap ❤️ thank you for leaving in the broom falling! It made me laugh out loud after a very stressful week!
That didn't just "fall" - it practically leapt off the wall, right in mid-squeegee! But yes, highly amusing and good for a little light relief! 😆😆
It had me rolling on the floor.
currently going to do it soon
Haaa
I don't know why i am watching this, but its too satisfying
Dude I don’t know why I’m here either, but I also just watched a time lapse of a heated driveway melting snow in buffaloes recent storm 🤦♂️

Dirt Reynolds is very good at his job. This was a satisfying watch.
Let's not forget about R2-Clean2 either he put in the work
That long brush falling be like: Use me again! 🤣
But I so love the squeegees 😍🤤💖
It always amazes me as to how much dirt a rug can hold! That was insane! Good job! 😎👍🏻☕🥧
Doing this one day a week would be quite therapeutic, but more than one day a week would be a JOB!
Honestly I think I would get frustrated! Like "I just gave you a cleaning why aren't you clean!"
A number of years ago I lived in the desert, in the city. I had an 8x6' carpet that designated my living room seating area. Every year or so, I wanted a good deep rinse so I would roll it up and take it to the self car wash. (Not the ones with the spinning brushes. The one with the spray gun and you wash yourself)
I would then open the carpet up and lay it over the top of my car. I would use the spray water to spray down my carpet (to rinse the dust which was forever accumulating in the desert!)
When the water was running free again, I would roll the carpet up and allow it to lean against the car till it drained quite a bit and then put it back in my vehicle on top of a plastic tarp, bring it back home and it was dry enough and warm enough that I could drape it over the little brick pony wall or fence and it would be dried out within a few hours.
I never used any other setting there with the soaps or anything.... just the water setting. If it was often enough, it didn't require any kind of soap just a nice rinse.
Love content like this. Honest, no gimmick, just someone showing the work they do.
The internet would be a better place with more genuine content like this.
The dude makes the rug dirty just to clean it for the videos
This is the most fake rug cleaning I've ever seen.
Advanced cleaning systems is actually what you’re looking for. this is satisfying but it’s obvious that the rug wasn’t that dirty until he made it that dirty.
They literally, obviously covered the rug in soil just to show themselves cleaning it.
If you can't tell this rug has been made as dirty as possible prior to its cleaning simply to get views on the video you are.... Incredibly naive and lucky for this RUclips channel they're exact demographic.
Why watching someone clean a rug puts me at ease I'll never know, but damn I'm relaxed. 😎
Few things are as comforting as seeing a new video come up,knowing that whatever rug comes through Mountain Rug will come out *clean.*
I’ve just spent 17 minutes watching this. I’m absolutely glad I did so.
I love the broom randomly falling when it’s so close to Halloween, spoooookyyyy 🎃
I have to admit this is probably one of the most fun and satisfying jobs I've seen!
I absolutely love it !
Imagine stumbling upon this video & It’s year 2150 when water is one of the rarest elements on earth.
And why would that be the case?
A planet made of 85% water haha. Nice try
Fresh water is very scarce already. to clean and remove salt from the ocean water takes too much time and resources to do. When gas eventually get used up what do you think we’ll use.
@@LukeDodge916 also that’s not a true statistic, Google something takes 1 second
@@davidnguyen6541 Hundreds of trillions of lifeforms on this planet and we don't seem to be out of water yet somehow after all this time. Quit panicking over nothing.
This is not something I would normally watch but it somehow ended up in my feed. It was oddly satisfying to watch, ngl
I love this content and I'm just waiting for the day he uploads a 3 hour unedited version
You can see how the water changed everytime he cleans it. I never thought someone cleaning a rug would be so satisfying keep up the good work! 👍
It’s just so amazing watching the transformation from totally disgusting to beautiful.
I literally could not wait for the acid rinse, it always makes colors 10 times more vibrant
I think it's great that a channel devoted to making videos about cleaning dirty rugs has 1.2m subs
1:05 I thought I was the only one who peed on the rug after adding cleaner to give it some additional love.
RIP to this guy's back 💀
So satisfying without background music so thank you 😊
I love the googly eyes on your cleaner.
This is so satisfying, I forgot all of my troubles.
My fave part is when he uses the metal thing to scape the rug to get water out
I need to cure my addiction of watching these videos. They are ruining my sleep schedule
I love how relaxing these videos are. Not only the sounds of the machines and the scraping, but just watching a beautiful rug appear of the gunk. Satisfaction guaranteed 👌
these videos are so satisfying, i’ve been watching all morning 😂 i’d love to see what happens after this process , how you spin and dry it, and then finding out where the rug has ended up, i like the little story behind each one. love dirt reynolds 😂 grey job everytime 😊
Those googly eyes get me 👀 😆
I second the centrifuge and the re-homing!
So small yet so dirty. You were not kidding with the squeegees. On the other hand, great arm workout 🤣
You got that right!
its amazing that every time you clean a rug the rug is in perfect condition and not damaged in any way..no cuts..no burn marks no glue no paint ....nothing.
Another week has gone by - gets me ready for the weekend when you release your vid!
Hope you enjoyed it!
its amazing how much dirt is still left after all the cleaning and it looks clean...
Another super satisfying ASMR rug wash!! Literally the best channel on RUclips!!
I missed the showing of the water coming out at the end though! Always look forward to that!
Sorry. I just keep forgetting to put it in.
Amazing job! These little rugs seem to be the hardest work, which is great for us! Seems like we're all enjoying Mountain Rug nap time!

I love how you use your CRB compared to so many more other professional rug cleaners. Yours comes out so foamy and perfect unlike others to be too watery or not enough soap.
What a great job! The carpet is actually beautiful and I love the colors. The broom blooper was funny as heck too. No wonder you have such powerful shoulders!
Thanks so much! I really loved this rug
such a pretty rug
Wow!!! It's like night and day! Beautiful rug. You do wonders! Blessings to All!!!😃
So satisfying to watch these.
I don't know if these carpets are purposely dirtied, but the cleaning still satisfies me. Hehe
I really enjoy seeing the transformation of the rugs. I guess if it is a well made rug anything is possible.😁
I would be interested in seeing the rest of the process of drying sometime. I can’t imagine anyone letting their rug get so dirty, gross worms by the way.
Lol its 8:35 in the moring and instead of eating and celebrating xmass I am lazily laying on my bed watching this, mood
I really do enjoy these videos. I also am really fascinated by your workshop, is that water trough at the end custom built? And also how do you dispose of all the waste water? Does it just go straight to the drain in some way, like did you have to talk with a plumber about it?
No idea why the algorithm brought me here, but it was a fun and interesting process to watch. Good work out there.
Your videos are so calming, a miracle that lets me pause my constantly worrying mind. Thank you so much for that. I missed the captions this time a little, for some reason they were feeling calming too, probably because I watched enough of your videos to remember all the steps and tools (:
Thankyou for watching. I guess it can be a little monotonous but maybe that makes itmore calming
@@MountainRugCleaning I don't find it monotonous at all.
Lmao Dirt Reynolds’s And. R2 clean 2. Whoever named those is a legend lol
Surprisingly satisfying to watch.
The broom was having too much fun. 🤣🤣
That squeegee after you washed the back is so 🤤🤤🤤
I like the blooper mid-video. Shows a bit of sincerity.
Rug cleaning is an ancient tradition that still has it's miracles even today. This channel is an example of such fine artistry.
Fine restoration as usual.
R2-Clean2 is always a joy to watch But the poor worm was like *I didn't sign up for this*

Trash to treasure. What a beautiful keepsake someone will receive. Bless you
This was pretty relaxing to watch tbh
Great work. Amazing transformation.
Thankyou !
Not legit
Being a former carpet cleaner, this video was both horrifying, and gratifying to to watch.
I really wish you would explain a bit more about the rug. Is it wool or polypropylène? Is it a specific type/provenance? What would be its age? And so on...
I'M worn out just watching you work great job
It's like you had 5 kilos of rug and 20 kilos of dirt. Good work.
That must be a high quality made rug. I thought this job was a waste before you started. Hopefully this job paid well!
it is amazing what is thrown out!!!!! lovey job as usual mate!!!
Thank you so much 😀
Seriously. Who knew these videos would be so satisfying? I mean 🤷♀️ But I'm hooked. This is soothing my OCD in ways that I never imagined! Thank you sir for posting these for us!
"Alright guys, if we're going to hit a million views we're going to need to let it soak in beef gravy this time."
You find the filthiest, most disgusting carpets, and you do a great job cleaning them 👏 👍
Rug cleaning has to be one of the two most satisfying things in life. The other being power washing a hard surface such as concrete.
Your videos help soothe my OCD and I love how you always get every corner and you never miss anything!! You always go over everything to make sure you get it and that's why I admire you and love your videos! Keep up the great work!! ❤👍👍👍
The CRB machine, squeegeeing and full submersions are my absolute favorite parts of your videos!
Rug cleaning should be a punishment for serious convicts. Like 20 rugs a day… 😂
The question is, how much water was used to clean a carpet?
Three times the carpet price is probably his water bill
Given they did this super inefficiently so it would look better on camera and last longer, way to much.
To explain a bit, normally when cleaning any carpet you put it over a line or pole to suspend it. That let's the dirt and debris run off instead of getting trapped underneath like what happens in this video and why it took so long. A pressure washer against this rug in a normal cleaning would have used probably 3 cleaning cycles max if you were being really picky then a single cleaner run after laying it flat.
I'm going to make this easy to understand the amount of liter of water used is the same amont as the African NEEDS to be hydrated entirely so it was put to good use in my opinion XD
@@mhallicegaming It looks so much more impressive when they move the dirt through the meters long length of the rug, rather than just the few millimeters of thickness.
@@hamjudo I'm not arguing with the asmr aspect of the video, it's what the channel does. Just explaining why so much water was used.
THE FREAKING WORM
YOU KILLED IT
Can we please get the squeegee part in real time? Love watching your videos. Glad you didn’t cut that part out. Enjoy your day.
Haha that would be a very long video
How many times squeegee in this video? I’m curious cause of the caption
How many rugs are these guys gonna have to bury in a pile of dirt and then massage it in only to then clean it in a RUclips video to convince everyone that that was a genuine rug someone actually had in their house if that thing was anywhere but on someone's floor in a dry house it would be completely deteriorated considering how wet and moist and full of fresh soil it is and is in every video. I've worked at a place temporarily that does this for large Persian rugs and never in my life have I seen one come in that has perfectly uniform colored dirt and stains evenly across the entirety of the rug. Complete RUclips favorite and disengenuous content.
Am I the only one thinking how durable this rug is…
Best part of my evening is seeing a new video pop up. You and your channel are awesome!
