I'm from Gissie, living abroad. I grew up on the farm. I remember during the week nights, we'd grab our friends in the nearby homes because we had no phones there, we'd make a fire and throw a wire netting over it and throw the lambs tails over. Didn't take long. We'd have our newspaper and salt... and eat, talk, laugh... until time to go home with black all over our faces... get ready for school the next day.

They are yummy I ate them at the neighbors growing up in Benneydale, King Country NZ in the 70s and have had heaps in Waipuk ,Morrinsville , its awsome sharing with whanau. ❤😂

Lamb tails are Yummy yums Trevs, the smell, the taste on an open fire, thank you Hori & Rangi for sharing this vid and also for the shout out (love it of course lol) as an X Farmer (now meat/freezing worker going on 22 years and counting) there is a lot of mahi that goes into docking and a lot of patience to cook them all, always have to be haters don't know why but just like the ol' saying suggests "Haters make us famous" lol, good on you Hori & Rangi's Adventures, bring on more content (ps also forgot to ask when we met because I was so nervous on how to purchase merch from you guys my bad lol)
I know the mahi that goes into docking as a child i was the one putting the lambs into the cradle, I remember this was made of leather, I remember the hot iron which cut the tails off, my memories are of a place called Longbush in southern Wairarapa, great times and great memories. No probs with the merch I am under hori pukunui or hori and Rangi’s adventures on msg. I will hopefully see you next guzzler meeting, let me know what size and colour, I have got T-shirts coming in hopefully this week coming in different colours other than what we have on screen, you guys are welcome to the shoutout 😝😝😝
