Blue eyes in my opinion look better with cool tones. Seems like they always put corals, reds and browns on and I’ve tried that on my blue eyes and it looks like I got in a fight! And at 66 I hate shimmers on me! They just don’t look natural.
@@cleanqueen75 My eyes are grey because they turn from blue to green and even turquoise at times. So I always try to use colors to bring out the blue in them instead of the green. So there is certain colors of purple, dark grey, silver and even dark pinks that will do this. I've never liked the copper colors on me or browns for the same exact reason as you just said! I always thought that brown eyeliners or copper shades made my eyeballs look like they're bleeding!
You definitely should let them know about that lipliner just so it doesn't keep happening to you or anyone else. That would be super annoying I agree with you

You must try the Mac Unfiltered Nudes palette. It's beautiful- I got it during all the holiday sales. Has mattes and shimmers. Mostly warm shades. Mac has my favorite formula.
Shimmer gloss is great when it's sheer. This one looks like it has a really light colored, opaque base that is flattering on whom, exactly?! What were they thinking... 😉 Also, you mentioned sometimes ColourPop products break you out. Check your cheek/complexion products for coconut oil. I'm not sure if CP uses it in their cream products, but it's a common culprit for irritation breakouts as opposed to true bacterial acne. 🤔
One of my all-time favorite MAC shadows is Era, a neutral taupe with just a touch of shimmer. I've used it for over 20 years - doesn't get old. Of course, I use tons of other shadows, including other faves: Bobbi Brown shadow sticks, Chanel cream shadows, Dior palettes, etc. But this is the ONE shadow that I return to for a neutral look - not too warm, not too cool.
I’d like to see videos on Sydney Grace shadows for a pinky leaning look, a peachy look, taupes and browns, purples, greens. Basic looks so we don’t have to be putting more than 3 shadows on.
That eye look would be great for a date night. Nice and cool, with a hint of smokey. I have the mascara you used, and totally love it. Yes, the brush is a tad big. My first high end makeup was Lancome at 18. I didn't consider it being for old people. But guess that could be subjective 😂
Have you ever considered getting your colors done? I had mine done with House of color. It was expensive but worth it. They even talk about mskeup. I wouldn't be surprised that you are cool toned.
Honestly, I love this eye look on you. I still use MAC shadows on the regular and love the refill size, economical and I can make a palette I know I will use.
I don't think I've ever tried a MAC eyeshadow 😅 and I've been enjoying makeup for a LONG time! How does it compare to Natasha Denona formula or Nomad Cosmetics formula? Those two are my favorites.

I see that foundation has an actual choice of olive undertones. 🤔 Now to see if it’s more green then golden olive. I’m glad companies are catching on. That there are at least 4 undertones in every level of overtone.

I've never been cool i guess. I've used mac fix plus and i don't know that I've used much else. Mac is forgettable imo
