I’m pretty sure the way the school works is that it’s not really a school. It’s more of a team or group full of “delinquent rejects”which is also shown to be led by other teens. It’s been shown that the town has a school system such as middle schools and elementary schools and such, but I think places like Furin aren’t supposed to be like that to begin with. I also think that the reason for there not being police is because of the type of town it is. There are some towns in real life that have lack authority and are dangerous, with having heightened crime rates because of it. That’s the reason why gangs kept popping up all over. It’s because of the lack of authority or anyone to keep them all at bay. That’s what Bofurin was made for, and I think that it was because of that. Furin to begin with wasn’t a real school. It’s more of just a large group made by teens which was overtime developed into a school-like system.

What I love about this anime especially with the mc and all things pointed out here.
It’s a refreshing take on both the delinquent type animes and of course a action shonen mc.
Sakura is a kind hearted person whil still have iron fist and not be a coward to beat peoples up or throw hands when needed

I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE HATE TAKEMICHI!! He goes through time loop again and again to save everyone it must be hard for him to bare it all alone. He might be dumb sometimes but no one is perfect. The point is he never gives up on people no matter how hard it is. He is not a fighter he is a hero understand the difference

Lol tbh I always love the main characters and neglect side characters.I like their good hearts and typically non flirty aditude.I still like hakura sakura though.
It really depends, like for example jujutsu kaisen ... More than 80% of the fandom would say that their favorite character is gojo or toji or anyone but itadori ( don't get me wrong i love itadori but is he my favorite? No)

As for me I dislike Gojo and not be cause he isn't attractive but just because of his personality.However there are sometimes when I like side characters too.I just try not to always like the same thing.For example in My hero academia some people think that since I like main characters I will like deku.While I don't dislike him I simply prefer Kirishima or Tamaki.I think it's ok for someones favorite character to be Gojo, Sasuke, Levi, or Killua( to name a few) so long as you aren't just following the crowd.
For me when I started watching wind breaker and also started reading the manga my favourite is Jo Togame like the back stories is also really good in the show
The story wasn't that unique to me either. I would have dropped this if it weren't for the stunning animation, amazing music, and charming characters (well, many of them). And Sakura is one of those rare likeable shounen main characters. Appreciate this content complimenting him 🥰

I just hate how socially inept he is. I still enjoy wind breaker as a whole so far but oh my god every damn time he gets a compliment or anything like one, I cant bear to see it.
At least there's a reason behind it, he is so not used to compliments that he gets flustered everytime... I think it's pretty cute and funny imo 😂

it’s a form of trauma if you look at it. He may not show it but it’s emotional trauma, he won’t be growing out of it soon if you were hoping. He needs to heal from the bullying and verbal abuse. this takes time and patience. People who are bullied take there emotional scars on there back for really long times. For some people even years, i know this is anime. but when this is included, it gives a real natural view of his character. you can actually connect with him because a lot of people experience bullying now a days, and some are not really good at expressing themselves.

YESSS this is what I’ve been saying as well. Sakura is genuinely one of the most likable characters I’ve seen in modern anime and manga. Even though he is shown to be somewhat rough around the edges in terms of his attitude, at his core he holds pure and complete kindness and gentility. He’s just scared of letting it out due to fear of rejection. But it’s so satisfying to watch him slowly grow more comfortable and be able to gradually let some of that softness out. It was his character that hooked me into this series.

takemitchi his character is something i personally really like. Yes he is a crybaby, yes he is physically weak, and yes he can be a coward. But his mental strength is something that even mikey acknowledges in the series. can you even imagine how it would be like to see your girlfriend and friends die over, and over again. It must be torture, and the curse of time traveling. Yes i call it a curse, he has to carry all the weight of all those lives on his back. All there futures, and dreams. he has a lot of trauma and it keeps billing up. and don’t forget everyone at the end of the serie may forget what happend. But takemitchi never wil, the friends he has made forget there bonds with him. He had seen people die over and over again. You need a lot of mental strength to overcome that and stay true to your self. Takemitchy is honestly a really compassionate character with a heart of diamond who will litteraly go trough hell for you, and is one of the most kindest character i have seen in anime. He is not strong trough muscle, but incredibly strong in spirit.

He does. The creator just only saw the season 1 of the anime(I assume). He gets alot of character development
MC’s that doesnt have character development? You must watching these anime with your eyes closed and ears plugged. Takemitchy, despite a crybaby, underwent many character developments as most MC in shonen mangas.
