Park Balance bonus is a fluctuating soft cap that makes it so you cant stuff your park full of scenery to boost your rating. You gotta have a healthy balance of rides vs scenery as you said.
Bushes sounds like a good idea. Civ 6 is unfortunately postponed due to technical problems. Something about an update they did caused my graphics driver to randomly crash during recording (and ONLY during recording) and no amount of updating, driver tinkering and such has made it stop. Since it rendered my footage corrupt whenever it crashed, it was basically impossible to record further. I didn't want to stop it early, trust me. But Planet Coaster is what took its place since I only have the recording bandwidth to do two series at the same time :)

Me and the guys are planning on doing another multiplayer mashup recording session tomorrow. We're still debating which game to play so it might be Armello or Gremlins or possibly something new. Keep your eyes peeled.
Do you take suggestions for games you might be interested in,as there's one called Transport Fever that from what I've seen,might be worth a look.It is just released so it has some bugs that are in the process of being ironed out.

am I crazy or are the yellows pinstar chooses so light they are almost cream colored?

Oh, and you can hit T to get a first person camera instead of an isometric view when you're doing finicky stuff like building honeycombs.
