before we know it, they will insist enlisted are fully equal to officers - where as we ex-enlisted know we are totally superior
lol
So true. Any branch of the military can run without officers but we can not run without higher enlisted. Most officers are just paper pushers and are in charge of coming up with plans and field ops. Which enlisted know a hell of a lot more especially when most officers in charge of a platoon are boots.
Facts!!
@@CowboyUp1371I don’t think David was serious.
everyone knows almost enlisted are superior
So, if anyone remembers, the Marine Corps (oorah) was the only branch of service to get a passing combat readiness grade. Now, they want to force them to do the same thing as the other branches, who failed. Great plan.
You’re spot on
It’s part of the plan.
Retired Army here. We were all guys in tanks back in the day and we worked great together. Now, my son, who is on his 2nd enlistment, says he is always told to just not talk to the females to avoid any mixed intentions. God forbid you tell a female what to do and she files a sharp report.
Great point ,just a claim from a disgruntled female can ruin your career or even short enlistment
Same with office jobs

It’s no DOD it’s Congress mandating thsi
The Pentagon is full of pencil pushing weenies.
It’s not DoD it’s congress….
The Marine corps is the only one who met its recruiting goals and they did testing to see how integrated training did - the all male fire teams absolutely obliterated the mixed and all female fire teams every single time. No more women. We’re not the same. I hated training with women in the army, women do not belong in combat arms. That’s the pure, cold, unfair fact.
What did you do about it other than leave quit bitching
dont you know facts aren't allowed
If women really want to serve that bad they should only ever be fighting along side other women, Since they are clearly just as capable as our men and we haven’t lowered the standards so they could make it into the military in the first place this should be no problem right?😂
Some females can absolutely make it, but they're very few and far between. In my experience in the Marine Corps the issue isn't allowing females, it's lowering standards to accommodate them. If everyone had to meet the male physical standard there would be almost no women, but there would be some.
They crumble like a fukn crouton
Damn. There's gonna be extra firewatch and drills on duty to prevent cheeks from being clapped.

The French foreign legion is now the new standard.
The French invented Sarcasm & Sodomy.
That option is looking better everyday. I am prior service and I tried reenlisting after a couple of years and was immediately turned down once I said I was prior service. Life hasn't been kind so I should learn some French and get back in shape.
@@EliteSuperGruntGo for it man! And don't worry about speaking and understanding french, if you don't really know it they'll teach you that once you are able to get selected.
lol It's the Gold standard. Hard old school training. Let me tell you something. The Legion is Marine Boot Camp and SOI ITB rolled into one. Strict and controlled environment. Rules, standards, and General orders are enforced every day until your contract ends. It does not have the " Fleet" creature comfort. Good luck. Learn basic french and do a lot of cardio and endurance training. 😂😁
I remember a family friend of mine was a legion, he told me his story once, it sounded intense but I was so admired by it. One part of the long conversation stuck with me: when he was about to commence bootcamp he walked through a building with a sign saying “you are soldiers who are meant to die, and we are sending you where men can die” apparently it was said by a general of France. It would had been spine chilling walking into a place like that knowing that you could probably die, but that’s the reality of it and it’s really what we men look up to.
The enemy isn't going to pair a female to exclusively fight another female. This is reality, not fantasy. Respect is earned, not watered down.
You cant kill the enemy throwing equality at them!
I can not wait for the first barracks baby. SO HAPPY I left lmao 🤣
There was a co-ed navy supply ship during Desert Storm.by the time it got to Saudi, they had 16 pregnant women.
That's 16 sailors that had to be flown home. A ship with 16 less sailors
It actually already happened in SD. HQMC is losing its mind trying to deal with it. And the platoons aren't even integrated yet.
I was in communications and had females in my platoon years ago, my first unit didn't cause many problems professionally since it was a regiment and didn't see any action but relationship drama was behind the scenes. When I got to my 2nd unit, I saw first hand how a single female could bring down a whole platoon. My third unit I was with an artillery battalion as an RO for the forward observers and there were no females in sight. That was the best and most cohesive group I ever been with.
Rah! King of Battle! 👑🪖⚔️🔫🔫🚀
Do women finally have to take the same PFT? Let’s start there to make things more fair. If male Marines got to take the female test, every male Marine would have a 300.
Shave their heads too. 😅
Of course not
When I was in they had just changed it to make it almost the same. They changed the 1.5 mile run to the full 3 miles, I think their siitup requirement was always the same and they still had to do those weird hanging pullups.
That’s the biggest issue of it is that damn score difference. In my last year of being in I had to do the cft. I had gotten injured on deployment in July and by October I was more or less at like 90 percent to fully able to do physical things. But in November we did the cft. I had a small time to get fit as I could. When I took the test I got a 259 when normally I got 285-290. I took my test scores and plugged them in the female score calculator because I was curious. I had to modify my scores because they were still too high for female standards calculations. My low 1st class was a percent 300 in female standards.
@@Riceball01 when was that. I was in 2004 to 2008 and it was a 3 mile run for both but they just got more time and the way they calculated the score they could run slower and get a higher score. The crunches were always the same, but then they got to do that flexed arm hangwhich it’s much easier to max out the time on the flexed arm hang that it is to do pull-ups so all in all they get a far easier test and it’s ridiculous. It should be the same test for both.
@@ramirezad45 I looked it up. CFT wasn’t a thing. It was implemented after I left later that year apparently
The marine corps did a test where a integrated group and a non integrated competed. The test showed the non integrated groups did drastically better.
Malicious compliance is always an option:
-Exact same PT standards
-Exact same grooming standards
-Exact same GO/NO GO standards
I think number 2, having your head shaved and kept closely cropped for your entire time in service will weed out anything less than a dedicated, hard charger that really wants to be there.
This is beyond the services’ control, but it should also mean universal registration for selective service and consequences for not registering: no student aid, no government jobs. I’ve never met anyone that was actually tried and punished for not registering. But I have met two people that never registered while in college. They had no greater reason for failing to register than just not thinking it was a big deal. They were quite surprised when they found out they were not eligible for any tuition assistance because of this.
I have trained with females at MCT. Got sick and had to do it again.
It was terrible. They fall out of the hikes and cannot keep up. The days are longer and more miserable.
We got back later and had less rest to be able to recover for the next day.
Training with males only was better.
Leave them apart let them train apart so them can be trained to their ability.
I have never written anything about this publicly. I am a former Veterans Service Officer in a large County in Ohio. With a very large city within that County. You would not even imagine how many rape and sexual assault claims I was assisting Veterans with. It was off the charts. And that was just me. Can you imagine across the Country how many are then being processed. This video just made me think about everything that goes on in the military. I’m an old Marine. We all seen the craziness. You never hear congress bring up the women and men who were raped and sexually assaulted. They should disclose the numbers to the public. They should also disclose the suicide rates of these veterans because of the rape and sexual assaults. Again, your video of congress pushing this made me think about it. And I honestly I think about those women and men every day. Their words and their emotions as they told me what happened. Makes you incredibly sick that our own would be treated like this, from our own.
I attended Recruit Training back 99 in Paris Island, SC, I could not imagine male and female recruits attending in an integrated platoon. We didn't get a real shower for the first month, 30 seconds run thru for the whole platoon everyday, and put our towel over our heads with nothing else on to report to the DI that we had no medical issue to report and Congress wants to integrate this type of training to make it Co-Ed. I promise you that if this happens then the quotas for female recruits in the Marine Corp will plummet to next to zero within a year. so it might be the best thing to happen to the Corps. One standard to including hair cuts and PFT.

Here is a bit of reality that is often ignored.....plenty of male troops have LOST THEIR JOBS IN THE MILITARY due to failing to meet higher male physical standards in both boot camp and at the unit level. More integration should mean LESS females in the services because they should be held to the same standard that the men must meet with respect to the PT tests. Our armed forces shouldn't lower standards based on gender, but DEMAND that every female meets and exceeds the ones that are already in place that their male counterparts must meet. The women have for decades been allowed to stay in the same jobs as their male counterparts, but did not face the same hurdles physically that could lead to them being back on the block.
I've personally counseled male soldiers for failing their record PT tests which led to them being chaptered out of the Army while I still had female soldiers in my platoon that did far less on the same damn test and stayed in. We actually put one NCO out who missed his run by 8 seconds and no quarter was given, but we got these civilians recommending more integration for the betterment of women without addressing this discriminatory practice? They have spent years and millions of dollars on a damn PT test that too many women failed and instead of sticking to the standards, they felt the need to keep adjusting it just so the numbers would fit for female troops and it is just ridiculous. And this nonsense about different MOSs having different standards is BONKERS. We don't go to separate battlefields. Combat support troops don't get a free pass by the enemy on the battlefield. The service wide PT test must have ONE standard that EVERY troop must meet physically in order to be deemed combat ready and fit for duty.
I've went to combat as an infantryman and support soldier, and you have to be physically capable in both in order to be prepared for any situation on the battlefield that you may find yourself in. Try as hard as they may to change this reality, but the armed services is still a male dominated organization. So, you don't lower the standards to appease a minority. You recruit those women who are exceptional and can hold their own, even if they end up representing only 5% of the armed forces, instead of the 20% right now. Not all men make it, because there is no equality, only the strong make it. Well....at least they used to.
It's all by design. They don't care about equality, inclusion, or whatever other BS they come up with. It's about destroying the United States. There is no reasoning with these people.
I loved serving in the Marine Corps, but this makes me glad I'm no longer in...male and female recruits should not train together
Indeed. It's not so much they are "inferior", its you can't overwrite human nature. It quickly becomes a toxic environment since you are getting punished way more thanks to the females not clicking/not performing because they think "I am female, I have exceptions" that just don't get breed away anymore than "I'm am man, I must protect and/or screw female."
True
Congress made the military into a social project and will quickly blame the service for failing and having mass fatalities in combat due to the feelings needed to be coddled.

When i was in the army the males generally had a low opinion of the female soldiers because they were required to meet any of the requirements that the males did. But when I was in MP school there was a female who refused any of the lesser standards afforded to the females. She wouldn't do the girly push ups, she always finished runs, usually in the front rank. Everyone respected her.

@@baconknightt That's not surprising. Don't get me wrong, I think women make great medics, cooks, spies, and other support roles. A lot of the WWII nurses and Civil War spies were women. Thank you for your service btw.

It’s crazy they think this is a good idea. Men and women are different. They do different jobs well. It will absolutely degrade the efficiency of the Marine Corps to integrate men and women.
They know it isn't, but how else are you going to dismantle the military?
I’d love for males and females to be held at the same standards across the board, if you can’t meet the standard then your no good.
Competency increases a sense of cohesion more than the reverse. If male recruits see female recruits (or other males) putting in less work, but still getting the same recognition, it will only foster resentment.
The question is not can or should but is it even necessary.
It has been said...that..if every one can be a Marine...then it's not the Marines. It was suppos to be extremely hard and difficult.
Just like not everyone can be a linguist, or signal intelligence. Just because they passed bootcamp doesn't qualify anyone for those fields.
This is why DOD will be its own undoing and unbecoming. The US Marines is the only branch that has it right in training and discipline. I am in favor of separate training for males and females.

My retirement is approved and I’m so looking forward to it, and coincidentally, our entire unit was talked to about inclusion, specifically about equality among sexes today. Must have been about 600 people in this building. Now we have to receive a mandatory EO class every month as well as Sexual Harassment classes due to some survey that was recently conducted. What’s funny about all of this, was that most of this was brought on by soldiers telling jokes and some people found it offensive and reported it.
The military is nothing more than a huge social experiment at this point. We are weaker than we have ever been, and overall, it’s full of mental health cases running around. All the great leadership retired, and now we are left with broke equipment, no true leaders, and a forced woke culture. It’s nothing more than a lot of kids running around doing drugs, growing their hair out, full beards, faded uniforms and just mentally unstable.. Old school here. late 80's early 90's. We had four WM's in our comm platoon. We were always having to help them when it came to humping radios or their personal gear, they fell out of all PT runs. As we were getting ready to deploy for DS/DS they all got nocked up. They can be in the platoon they just need to know their place and that place is the bottom rung of the ladder. You "might" get one or two that can kind of hold their own but that is a small percentage and even that would still place them on the second rung of the ladder
Ok then have them register for the draft have one physical PT standard, and everyone gets the same first day buzz cut as well.

Soon it's gonna be the men staying home sending Dear Jane DMs. I'm all for it. No offense women but the more involved you get, the crazier the shit us men gotta deal with. Like ya'll can't ever just leave well enough alone.
I was in 2007, honestly some of the men are even too weak to carry each other, how the hell is a 5'2 female going to drag a 180-220lbs marine? It won't happen. The packs can weigh 50 or more lbs depending on whats inside them. I could give 20 more reasons why it won't work.
I’ve been the Army 17 years…. My platoon at Basic, OCS, and BOLC II were all gender integrated…. The females were always the weak link…. There was maybe 1 female that could actually perform physically as well as the average male.. the rest were terrible. Couldn’t ruck march worth a damn, we’d have to go half the speed of smell otherwise all the females would drop out. They definitely couldn’t carry any of the heavy weapons (M249 or M240B) or barrel bag/tripod….. Combatives they all would get their asses kicked, most of them couldn’t shoot worth a damn either…. If they were males they would have been deemed sub-standard soldiers and probably sent home….
I was an infantry MOS that doesn’t even exist anymore (0351) and my teenage daughter wants to follow my footsteps.
I am very transparent to her and encourage her to not join any branch and to use my GI Bill for college.
When I was active duty, I saw so much rampant sexism and anyone that was in LCPL underground saw the real reasons why.
You have been to San Diego. I cooked at the Recruit Chow Hall. At one time we had 4200 a meal. I don't know what percentage of barracks that was, to make San Diego coed, probably would require a lot of construction
I’m a civilian, but I thought the only color or gender that mattered in the Marines was “green”. In all seriousness, isn’t the military where all colors and walks of life /both genders come together naturally to better themselves and serve our country??!! Unreal…
Next draft im dodging hard 🤣
As a Iraq invasion veteran I remember all the lady's getting knocked up so they could go back to the states. We had 1 who literally stayed pregnant back to back for the full 20 years so she didn't have to do anything and could not be passed on for promotion....she was smart.
You ever heard the phrase “ If it isn’t broke Don’t fix it”?
Congress and the brass keep never disappoint me with their stupidity.
It's not stupidity, its planned.
What This? Colonial Marines Like the Movie Aliens? Semper-Fi, Man.
Game over man. Game over.
Integrated training? OK, i will agree to that part of my duties as an EXTRA DUTY RANGER! HONORABLE, made the most/max out of it.
Platoons about to graduate with 10 more than they start the cycle with.. 😮💨😮💨
Are they going to integrate all the standards? From push ups, sit ups, swim and run times?
This is a huge mistake! We are not the other branches. IF IT'S NOT BROKE, YOU DONT FIX IT!!!
Wow, I go to Parris Island soon 😂
Goodluck poo butt.
Glad I retired a decade ago. Good luck winning an all-out war with this nonsense.
