So true. Any branch of the military can run without officers but we can not run without higher enlisted. Most officers are just paper pushers and are in charge of coming up with plans and field ops. Which enlisted know a hell of a lot more especially when most officers in charge of a platoon are boots.

Some females can absolutely make it, but they're very few and far between. In my experience in the Marine Corps the issue isn't allowing females, it's lowering standards to accommodate them. That’s the biggest issue of it is that damn score difference. In my last year of being in I had to do the cft. I had gotten injured on deployment in July and by October I was more or less at like 90 percent to fully able to do physical things. But in November we did the cft. I had a small time to get fit as I could. When I took the test I got a 259 when normally I got 285-290. I took my test scores and plugged them in the female score calculator because I was curious. I had to modify my scores because they were still too high for female standards calculations. My low 1st class was a percent 300 in female standards.

    • @tigernotwoods914

@@Riceball01 when was that. I was in 2004 to 2008 and it was a 3 mile run for both but they just got more time and the way they calculated the score they could run slower and get a higher score. The crunches were always the same, but then they got to do that flexed arm hangwhich it’s much easier to max out the time on the flexed arm hang that it is to do pull-ups so all in all they get a far easier test and it’s ridiculous. It should be the same test for both.

Malicious compliance is always an option:
    -Exact same PT standards
    -Exact same grooming standards
    -Exact same GO/NO GO standards
I think number 2, having your head shaved and kept closely cropped for your entire time in service will weed out anything less than a dedicated, hard charger that really wants to be there.
This is beyond the services’ control, but it should also mean universal registration for selective service and consequences for not registering: no student aid, no government jobs. I’ve never met anyone that was actually tried and punished for not registering. But I have met two people that never registered while in college. They had no greater reason for failing to register than just not thinking it was a big deal. They were quite surprised when they found out they were not eligible for any tuition assistance because of this.

I have never written anything about this publicly. I am a former Veterans Service Officer in a large County in Ohio. With a very large city within that County. You would not even imagine how many rape and sexual assault claims I was assisting Veterans with. It was off the charts. And that was just me. Can you imagine across the Country how many are then being processed. This video just made me think about everything that goes on in the military. I’m an old Marine. We all seen the craziness. You never hear congress bring up the women and men who were raped and sexually assaulted. They should disclose the numbers to the public. They should also disclose the suicide rates of these veterans because of the rape and sexual assaults. Again, your video of congress pushing this made me think about it. And I honestly I think about those women and men every day. Their words and their emotions as they told me what happened. Makes you incredibly sick that our own would be treated like this, from our own.

I attended Recruit Training back 99 in Paris Island, SC, I could not imagine male and female recruits attending in an integrated platoon. We didn't get a real shower for the first month, 30 seconds run thru for the whole platoon everyday, and put our towel over our heads with nothing else on to report to the DI that we had no medical issue to report and Congress wants to integrate this type of training to make it Co-Ed. I promise you that if this happens then the quotas for female recruits in the Marine Corp will plummet to next to zero within a year. so it might be the best thing to happen to the Corps. Here is a bit of reality that is often ignored.....plenty of male troops have LOST THEIR JOBS IN THE MILITARY due to failing to meet higher male physical standards in both boot camp and at the unit level. More integration should mean LESS females in the services because they should be held to the same standard that the men must meet with respect to the PT tests. Our armed forces shouldn't lower standards based on gender, but DEMAND that every female meets and exceeds the ones that are already in place that their male counterparts must meet. The women have for decades been allowed to stay in the same jobs as their male counterparts, but did not face the same hurdles physically that could lead to them being back on the block.
I've personally counseled male soldiers for failing their record PT tests which led to them being chaptered out of the Army while I still had female soldiers in my platoon that did far less on the same damn test and stayed in. We actually put one NCO out who missed his run by 8 seconds and no quarter was given, but we got these civilians recommending more integration for the betterment of women without addressing this discriminatory practice? They have spent years and millions of dollars on a damn PT test that too many women failed and instead of sticking to the standards, they felt the need to keep adjusting it just so the numbers would fit for female troops and it is just ridiculous. And this nonsense about different MOSs having different standards is BONKERS. We don't go to separate battlefields. Combat support troops don't get a free pass by the enemy on the battlefield. The service wide PT test must have ONE standard that EVERY troop must meet physically in order to be deemed combat ready and fit for duty.
I've went to combat as an infantryman and support soldier, and you have to be physically capable in both in order to be prepared for any situation on the battlefield that you may find yourself in. Try as hard as they may to change this reality, but the armed services is still a male dominated organization. So, you don't lower the standards to appease a minority. You recruit those women who are exceptional and can hold their own, even if they end up representing only 5% of the armed forces, instead of the 20% right now. Not all men make it, because there is no equality, only the strong make it. Well....at least they used to.

My retirement is approved and I’m so looking forward to it, and coincidentally, our entire unit was talked to about inclusion, specifically about equality among sexes today. Must have been about 600 people in this building. Now we have to receive a mandatory EO class every month as well as Sexual Harassment classes due to some survey that was recently conducted. What’s funny about all of this, was that most of this was brought on by soldiers telling jokes and some people found it offensive and reported it.
The military is nothing more than a huge social experiment at this point. We are weaker than we have ever been, and overall, it’s full of mental health cases running around. All the great leadership retired, and now we are left with broke equipment, no true leaders, and a forced woke culture. It’s nothing more than a lot of kids running around doing drugs, growing their hair out, full beards, faded uniforms and just mentally unstable.. People sometimes show up to work, and some don’t because they promote spending more time with family rather than being true soldiers in the military. I see people bringing dogs to work on a daily basis, and now it’s turned into a daycare. There is babies, and young children everywhere..
    I’m done..

We were always having to help them when it came to humping radios or their personal gear, they fell out of all PT runs. As we were getting ready to deploy for DS/DS they all got nocked up. They can be in the platoon they just need to know their place and that place is the bottom rung of the ladder. You "might" get one or two that can kind of hold their own but that is a small percentage and even that would still place them on the second rung of the ladder

There was maybe 1 female that could actually perform physically as well as the average male.. the rest were terrible. Couldn’t ruck march worth a damn, we’d have to go half the speed of smell otherwise all the females would drop out. They definitely couldn’t carry any of the heavy weapons (M249 or M240B) or barrel bag/tripod….. Combatives they all would get their asses kicked, most of them couldn’t shoot worth a damn either…. If they were males they would have been deemed sub-standard soldiers and probably sent home….
