This has to be Josh’s best performance as a knowledgeable punter expert/interviewer etc…. Extremely well researched- clearly. And for once he held his own opinions without reaching to much to Andrew for the pro punter view. It’s been interesting to watch this growth of the channel and especially the battle to prove many like ruby wrong, to be excepted amongst these inbred circles. Though ironically both have family involved in the sport. And certainly Josh has family wealth to leap in the meritocracy cronyism illusion. Good work Josh.
Great show as always lads, jumps hat fully on after Champions Day this weekend. Jump racing back at Windsor this season is exciting, will be at the first meet on Dec 15th for sure 🐎
I agree with you in the video think we need some of Dublin racing festival over here Cheltenham Saturday and maybe another jockey club course on Sunday
Clarence House meeting ideal to move 😉 I agree though Thomas, it's just difficult with Newbury , Doncaster & Ascot all looking like the obvious meeting to change but none of them are Jockey Club.
Worth mentioning that you say about Liari in the conditional jockeys, I know Paul Nicholls is very keen on running Brave Knight in that race which I think he said Freddy would ride
RR said Lossiemouth would definitely go CH this year in 2 previews I attended. If that is the case wouldn’t Brighterdaysahead be the most obvious horse to go to Mares rather than Chase ? Would be fav on last years Aintree run ?
The Winter Millions meeting has been moved across to Windsor this season - it is the same time of year, but hopefully allows the meeting to actually go ahead 😂
Do you think any of the big trainers would consider running one of their novice chasers in the Ryanair? The race can cut up and it looks like it would be the ideal trip for Ballyburn, Slade Steel, Inthepocket, and Impaire Et Passe at this stage in their careers.
@briandonnelly8313 in regards to slade steel I think it all depends where ballyburn goes . If ballyburn goes arkle slade steel won't. I'm guessing they will be avoiding ballyburn at the festival.
Great show, totally disagree about QDB it usually takes a tough type a grinder to run well in the Browns.Always remember Paul saying he really liked the horse should of never of been as competitive at the lesser trips.Myself really like the Pipe form hope it works out.
@LetsTalkRacing This show really has come far in a short amount of time.Really enjoy it , And like you and Andrew really respect everyone's opinion.Gone away thinking more about Quai de Bourbon and its strange doubts creep in that's good though.Ive got it wrong plenty of times over the years Irise's Gift being one of them never made a chaser.
I think Willie Mullins will have a few more runners in England this year to try win the British trainer title again.. what is yere opinion on that, also I think lossiemouth has to be running in the champion hurdle
Think Liari still has a great chance in the Greatwood. Ran a good race as you said when clearly undercooked. Nicholls won this multiple times with 4YO’s and won’t have to give the weight away as he did at Chepstow
Well lads great stuff as always, delighted to see myretown out tomorrow on chase debut massive fan of it 100/1 for brown advisory novice chase next year, any opinions as to where else it may go? Thanks
@@LetsTalkRacing That's good to know... Had wondered if you guys watched other shows and potentially got a laugh out of mine, it's not as detailed as yours but a blind squirrel finds a nut every so often 🤣
Quick question lads. Game Spirit Chase. Isnt it right to have a valuable 2m chase for non Champion Chase contenders who may go to Aintree instead. Smaller trainers need a chance too to pick up some black type. Just a thought.
Josh here. Completely see the point you're making and understand that it's not all about Cheltenham, although it's hard to see it as a stepping stone for the Melling Chase given the difference in distances. Sceau Royal, Funambule Sivola & Edwardstone have shared the past 4 renewals and haven’t been competitive at the following Cheltenham's or Aintree's.
Yes, he has, not always the best hurdlers prove successful over fences, and the Arkle throws up a few surprises. No Turners, so the fields will be bigger in Brown's and Arkle.
Josh here Tom. For me, he didn't look to be comfortable going the frantic pace in the Supreme and his jumping was awful, losing lengths at every flight. I think he's a good horse but one for a trip. His jumping will have to be electric over fences to stick at two miles and I got that vibe from Henderson when visiting Seven Barrows a month ago... but you never know!
Grangeclare west. Klassical dream fact to file. Galopan de champ Canadano kilcruit. And all the other 3 mile chasers Willie has. Were do they all go leading upto Cheltenham and at Cheltenham
@@deancrozier7293 I disagree massively there lightly raced placed in a supreme. Placed in the bumper intermediate trips chasing will go well. And if he’s one of Mullins horses campaigned in Britain. Then I think he can get a big one He’s better than capadano
Will Gordon send gerri colombe to haydock betfair chase easy race for gerri! U think fastorslow wins king George? Let's hope con hill back to his best this year, he will go odds on if wins well in Newcastle next month 😊
I doubt Gordon will go near Haydock with Gerri as it'll be a tight turnaround from Down Royal! He'd relish the ground mind. Between us, I think Willie will run something in the Betfair 👀
I also see fact to file going Ryanair. Can see him running in John durkin instead of galopin and I can also see jp thinking he has corbetts cross. Inothewayyourthinking. I am maximus. All looking like running in gold cup so can see him wanting a big win and fact to file would win the Ryanair. Look what Willie did with vautour
From the front? I'm yet to be convinced he's the same horse as when he won his first King George but no doubt Paul will change his campaign. Suspect he'll miss the Betfair Chase and go straight to the King George after a decent run in the Charlie Hall!
Love it guys! Your jump racing enthusiasm is infectious. The long run up to the festival starts now……let the excitement commence👌
Amazing content guys. You have such infectious enthusiasm and your knowledge is outstanding
Thank you mate. Very kind!
Excellent as always lads. Thanks for getting rid of the buzz in the background. Much appreciated.
No worries, Sean 🤝

Doddie the great. What are we doing here Josh 😂😂😂😂
Josh... What's the name of the horse running Friday? It's normally Andrew who we can't understand 😂😂
