@firewiresurfboards or @kevinschulz4178 Can you compare the Great White twin to the Flat Earth in overall performance? Are they similar? They seem similar in outline and foam distribution. Also, any difference between the mashup with Volcanic vs not? Strength? Flex? Weight? Thanks!
Epic Video, it's always amazing to see Kevin rip! I have a question about voluming on Mashup. I'm 5'10" 160 lbs and I ride a 27L FRK LFT. Should I keep my performance volume of 27L and get a 5'4" Mashup or should I size it up and get a 5'5" with 28.7L? I mean, the Mashup outline is already very user friendly, wouldn't be a mistake to add even more volume?
No, they're very different boards from a shape perspective. The Great White Twin is more optimized for round punchy pockets, and the Mashup is more optimized for flat and open faces. The Great White Twin also favors on-rail surfing in critical sections, while the Mashup feels more forgiving in transitions from rail to rail; it has more room for error. The Great White Twin is more performance progression, the Mashup is more fun and forgiving.
Does the The Great White Twin have more of an upper range than the Too Fish? Both descriptions describe them as twins that can handle some juice. Also, is the The Great White Twin friendly to upsize a bit? I'd say my "performance" volume at 5'6 145lbs is 27-27.5 litres but the 5'8 at 29 litres looks interesting to me especially when I'm suited up in y 5/4mm with boots and gloves. Would this be a mistake to upsize?
Yes, the Great White Twin has more of an upper range than the Too Fish. And yes, it's best to bias towards slightly too much volume in The Great White than slightly too little volume. Go up a size.
I smashed my front fin box on my mashup on holiday. Taped it and put a twin in the rear boxes. It works pretty well back there. Holds really well.
Kevin is so articulate. Loved this review and seeing him rip as always!
Wow! Epic video! Kevin is ripping on all those waves! He makes me want to ride all of them. The waves on the FRK+ look mental. Way to go Kev!
gotta love kevin, guy makes it look easy
He's one of our favorites to watch.
Sick vid tho! Love seeing Kevin surf and hear him chat boards. Great rep for the firewire.

Great vid! Are the dims correct for the FRK +? thought the 5'9 was 28.2L. Also, what is Kevin's height and weight? thanks
How much does Kevin weigh?
Phenomenal surfing as always from Kevie. What’s he weighing these days? Asking for a friend
64kg
Is there much overlap between the Great White and the Mashup?

I'm 39years 6'2 187lbs riding a 5'10 32L Great White size is perfect for me its a super fun board
Why no Dims listed for his FRK+ but for both the other boards?
@ponzuprince7534 I believe they pop up just a bit earlier before the break down but I’m riding a stock 5’9 x 18 11/16 x 2 7/16 @ 27.5 liters
