I have read a decent amount of literature on the great legend - Bhagat Singh. He will always be an inspiration in my life. In this narration Piyush Mishraji has done a marvellous job of describing Bhagat Singh's life and his philosophy. He has touched upon a few but certainly very essential elements of his thinking. As he mentions in this video itself, he was not able to do complete justice to the character in his award winning movie as a writer 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh'. Actually, i feel the movie which comes closest in properly potraying not only Bhagat Singh but Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqullah Khan, Chandrashekhar Azad, Rajguru, Sukhdev and Durga Bhabhi was 'Rang de Basanti'. We should never forget these names as all of them and more contributed immensely for the country. That was true Secularism! Lastly, Kartar Singh Sarabha (Bhagat Singh's hero) was just around 17-18 years old when he was hanged. They say from the time of sentencing to his hanging his weight actually increased by 5 kgs.
