Remission is the complete ending of a sentence before the full term of your sentence has been completed. If you are in prison and part of your sentence is remitted (reduced), you are released into the community without any further supervision or restrictions.

What it means is that you are no longer going to coninue to serve the sentence.IT DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT YOU WERE SETENCED IN THE FIRST PLACE.....
My very first time to listen to both great minds Ngcukaithobi and Mpofu, i painfully say that Ngcukaitobi isn't substituting enough his arguments. It seems his defense arguments are driven by emotions.
So now how does the judiciary deal with some who doesn't what to appear before the magistrates. To hear their side of the story. What happens to such people? What is a commission of inquiry.and what do the rules of an inquiry say about those who do not respect the inquiry Interpret the law with fairness don't divert from the fundamental core of the initial arrest of the former president. Some judges need scrutiny.
THE ONLY WAY TO JAIL ZUMA WAS TO DENY HIM OPPORTUNITY TO APPEAL. IN ORDER 'NOT' JAIL PW BOTHA, TRY HIM WHERE HE CAN PAY A FINE- CRY THE BELOVED COUNTRY....
The question is: was the accused not represented in court? Who lost the case then. A sentence was meted out and since it was direct access to an Apex Court, then the accuses had to bear the consequences. Whoa advised him not to appear when called? That wrong advice should bear the blame not the other way around. The question is: Can the ConCourt be a Court of First instance? Can it convict an accused? Yes it could when approached. As much as it could tinker with sentences from the Lower Courts. Bad advice then and trivial relook.
