The Brazilian Portuguese version of "break a leg" is "[I wish] a lot of [horse] shit to you." The story behind it is that back in the day when people used horse carriages as transportation and went to the theater, the way of telling if a play had been successful was by the amount of horse sh*t around the theater - the more horse poop there was on the street meant the more people attended the play. I don't know if that was a thing worldwide or just in Brazil.
