i distinctly remember watching the Luton v Spurs game and thinking to myself, Alfie Doughty is too good for this team. superb wing back, plays just like Grimaldo! Amazing at whipping in passes and taking set pieces. He's vital for them
Funny thing is that I had the very same reaction as well. I was convinced that he must be a loanee cause there weren't any links with big teams.(I'm a Cityzen)

same here, watched them a few time this season Doughty is very similar to Luke Shaw imo but less technical not by much
It pains me so much that Stoke didn't give Doughty much of a chance & sold him for next to nothing. I really loved watching him play while he was here

What happened to full length content + analysis??? I’m seriously starting to become annoyed that the whole production is going towards 60 second videos… like what happened??? There used to be so many interesting things and their end of season content was fantastic. I hope we get some sort of accompaniement to the euros at least…
more brainless complaining = short form videos working. Can’t expect analysis videos that are detailed if your own fanbase is constantly rushing right? you realise they can’t do all of this shorts into long length videos because itll be burning them out right

@@anmol3457be patient and thankful that theyre atleast putting out some type of content. it’s understandable that they’ve not posted long form content for months due to their upload schedule months before (constantly pumping out over 10+ mins worth of analysis etc) because you can’t be doing it everyday it takes a huge toll on everyone working on it

I was really impressed with Luton when Arsenal visited them. their stadium isn’t Anfield level as far as capacity, but their fans brought the passion and noise. they probably should have gotten the draw, but as an Arsenal supporter I’m not complaining. Burnley and Sheffield are almost certainly going down this season, but I’m hoping Luton can stay up because they had so little to spend. I’d like to see how much further they can grow with 2 or 3 serious potential ballers meshed in with the lads who have fought so hard this season!

Luton always looked better than Burnley (critically unlucky and physically out matched) and Shufters (unwatchable). Doughty has fast become one of my fave players with a belting cross and free kick.
Proper English football is making a comeback to the league. Fast break counter attacks, long balls booted to the target man, through balls for wingers to whip into the box. Think we'll see a dip in English teams' performances in Europe in the next coming years, but the entertainment value of the league will make up for it.
We have an awful injury crisis though and like 13 of our first team players cant play

Absolutely agree with the set piece thing. They’re priceless for lower teams with less quality. Now it just seems like promoted teams just want to play fancy football instead getting their fat head on the ball.

All valid points, but also feels important to say that it's only points deductions that could keep Luton up... Everton and Forest would be well clear otherwise.
