I decorate for every season. I use the same color of rubbermaid storage. Christmas= green, Fall/ Halloween = brown, Easter = blue, Valentine's Day Red, St Patrick's day, sage green. When I tell my husband that I need the decorations which ever holidays is coming, he even knows the colors and brings down the correct storage containers. I down size as to what I haven't used in the past few years.
Colleen, that’s a great idea! I tried that last year with all red boxes for Christmas but then I couldn’t find any other colors except purple and black and clear. I could have looked online I’m sure but just started going back to clear. The colors would be helpful
Girl! Long videos like over 30 minutes is awesome! You do great with having 3 kids and making videos and all that work that goes into making the video so I will take whatever length of video you can give us. 😊
I like both the long and short. Cleaning up for the most part is a chore I enjoy but sometimes things need to be done and I am just not in the mood for it cause maybe something fun is going on I would rather do. But keeping clean and organized is always worth it 😊
Hi Michelle, I have to admit that until I began to watch RUclips I did not realize that people decorated for the holidays or the seasons. Growing up, the only holiday we decorated for was Xmas, and all we decorated was our Xmas tree, and I always thought wreaths were for funerals. So I do find it amazing watching you decorate, I do enjoy watching your content I have learned a lot along the way. I hope your family enjoys all your decorations, the time it took was well worth it. Did you add any to the exterior of your home????
I think it just depends, changing up the decor for me helps freshen the space but obviously not necessary. I didn’t decorate for every season growing up but we did hav a few things. Think of RUclips sometimes more of a way to get ideas but not anything you feel like you have to do.

Then, I revisit that space again in a month or so and see if I can get rid of anything more! Some of us just can't declutter 70 pairs of jeans to 5 pairs... if too know what I mean!?😂 I say... everyone should do what makes them happy and works for their family!! Gosh I have 3,000 square foot of attic space - full head height and its a jungle up there!! For storage in your garage I saw a video recently and it showed your storage containers hanging from the ceiling! They were all slotted in on 'runners' (don't know what you call them) but it could free up some of your floor space. Found it. Look up ceiling Sam the tote slide 😊

We have so much stuff for that infamous yard sale that hasn’t happened. I’m of the mindset to organize and declutter stuff that we don’t or haven’t used since moving into our forever home 🏠. It's amazing what we discover when we declutter? I will say you have the most patient husband. Mine would want me to get rid of everything. It look great once you finished.
Hate to admit it, but I have to do this attic clear out EVERY year. Usually try to get it done around sept-Oct when the weather turns. I end up donating a ton of items each year. This year I already know I’ve got probably two or three boxes of items for fall. Plus a lot of random items that were thrown in there. We need to do another clear out.

I laughed so hard when you said I was cussing 😂. We are in the process of moving and I’ve been going through my storage room (a spare bedroom we didn’t use for anything else) and believe me I’ve been cussing 😂. I’m so tired of looking at all my junk and I just want to rent a dumpster and throw it all away lol

I need to do a serious declutter but my life seems to revolve around my kitchen. Some days I feel like I don't get out of it and the house starts to spiral, add then that I have chronic pain in my back so can't do a lot at once, bending is so sore etc and it really hinders me but fingers crossed I'll get there

You can still use the receipts even if they are older! But I feel you on the decluttering!
