I'm a Bills fan, and I'm nervous about the Steelers. Everyone's 0-0 again, but the fact PIT went 5-1 in that division is scary! Looking forward to Sunday!
They went 5-1 because burrow was hurt, the ravens probably have a plant sabotaging them when they play the Steelers, and the browns have a hex where they can’t start 2-0. If TJ doesn’t play bills might put up 75

Brockman saying the 7th seed is just garbage and doesn't scare anyone. There was a time not long ago when there were only 6 seeds per conference and two of those ran the table to become Superbowl Champions. The 2010 Green Bay Packers and the 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers.....
The 2005 Steelers and 2010 Packers each had top 5 defenses and point differentials over +130. Those were very good teams and everyone knew it. This year's Steelers are not in that category.
Pittsburgh's game plan is very simple. Run the heck out of the ball with Najee and Warren and keep Allen off the field for as long as possible, especially with Watt likely out.
After watching Allen play against Miami why would you want to keep him off the field???? He threw 2 int. and fumbled once. If it wasn't for special teams and defense the bills lose.
Facts. Steelers can run the ball, and we (the Bills) have had a hard time with teams that pound the rock all year. This is going to be a dog fight. The best thing we can do is score early and often and force the Steelers into a shootout. Make them throw the ball and abandon the run and we will win. We also need to stop with all the stupid turnovers! Go Bills!
Steelers play in the toughest division. Hell we’re the only division with 4 teams over .500. There are teams with better records that wouldn’t survive the AFC North.
Brockman and Belicheck; Pinto ran outta gas on the Mass Turnpike and they're trudging through snow drifts and slush. If Steelers win, you promise to hit Weight Watchers in 2024.
They finally have a QB who the defenses fear the pass enough to back 8+ men out if the box. Thats why the O line and RB's are thriving... They win thise 2 games against the Cards and Pats they are a 12 win squad.
I’ve been a diehard Steeler fan since before the immaculate reception. When you look at this season, it appears to me that Mike Tomlin made the right decisions at the right time. He didn’t panic and he knows it’s not how you start…….it’s how you finish. If the Steelers can get past wild card weekend Mike Tomlin will look the coaching genius that I believe he is. And all the naysayers will get on the bandwagon. smh
@jimm6542,Right decisions😂😂?Like playing Trubisky and losing three straight games to cellar dwellers .The only reason Rudolph saw the field was because nobody else was available and the fans were embarrassing Tomlin yelling for Mason.Gotta love fans that celebrate finishing third behind two teams that didn’t have a starting qb💩
Right decisions at the RIGHT TIME?!???! You’ve got to be kidding me!! He was forced into decisions and made them at an extremely LATE time. Had he got rid of Canada sooner and benched Mitch sooner, we wouldn’t have needed help to get into the playoffs because we would be at least 11-6 instead of 10-7.
Chiefs fan here, yet Steelers feel like my 2nd team, a team I have tremendous respect towards their plays, their coach and their players. The team just plays in a traditional way, haters called it old school, almost a world apart from my team in terms of play on the field. Yet, this year of defensive and ground game resurgence just showed that, tradition has its place in the NFL. I love the Steelers team because of the grit, they may not be dominating, they may be the underdog, barely hanging on 90% of the time. Yet, they always find borderline magical ways to win in the most ugly fashion. They play the straightest football, no fancy scheme, not much eye candy, just straight grit, execution and shove that ol' smash mouth football right down your throat. I questioned that the scheme was outdated and cannot compete, I blamed the coaching, culture and called for change. Yet, they still make the dance, albeit needing some help and luck. This team reminds me of Mariano Rivera's cutter, you know what's coming, yet you cannot hit it. As for Tomlin, despite he is a defensive coach, his attitude on people are similar to coach Reid. Both are old-schooled, both are loyal to a fault that sometimes drive fans nuts! Yet, both are great coaches that almost every one would respect.
I'm a life-long Cincinnati fan and I can confidently say, "Mike Tomlin is a GREAT coach". I hate when the Steelers beat my Bengals, but those victories are always earned and are a direct result of Coach Tomlin's leadership!
Lol they started winning as soon as he listened to the fans instead of his ego. Fans said fire Canada, Tomlin said no, we all saw what happened when Canada got fired, Steelers got the most yards since 2018 (Against Cincinnati) Fans said put in Mason, not Mitch, Tomlin said no. But after 3 straight losses with Mitch, he finally did it, and we all saw the results. Back to back 30+ point games for the first time in forever. Not saying he's a terrible coach, he just don't know when to make the right calls and decisions. Beat the Bills earlier with ease, but the Steelers had Watt. This time they don't and they're 1-10 without Watt playing
Especially that playoff game where Tomlin coached the Bungles into completely bungling and handing us the win. What amazing coaching that was. Tomlin couldn't coach himself out of a wet paper bag.
@@LexyThomas134It has nothing to do with Tomlin’s ego. It’s how the organization is ran. Canada is the first Steelers coach to be fired midseason since the 1940’s. Let me repeat that: THE 1940’s! You think that’s an accident? The Steelers (traditionally) let things play out and make their move once things have run their course. It’s the Rooney way. And one of the reasons they are among the most successful teams in NFL history.
@@christiansmith1389 Was, those changes should've been made the 3rd straight year of doing nothing. "We want to be known as the team/organization that doesn't fire coaches" Keeping garbage people around because of "tradition" is ridiculous IMO. Took how long to get at least 400 yards again? Geesh lol
@@christiansmith1389 And yes, I understand those decisions don't come from Tomlin, but he has a mouth and could speak up. "This isn't working boss we need a change" I like Tomlin, I don't want him to be fired or anything. But when you keep getting the same results year after year something needs to change. They ride it out too long. Can't keep doing the same things year after year and expect a different result.
@@h4fflewhe has the best QB rating over the last 3 games.. he’s definitely doing his job scoring when he needs to & making sure it’s no turnovers while being efficient.
Love this, Rich. Have had to look outside of the fanbase for voices of reason this year and I appreciate you riding with coach T. Mike is a big part of what makes this team great and I don’t think people saying otherwise are paying attention to the right things.
The national media just rides with the easiest storylines. I’m from Pittsburgh and most of us hate Tomlin. We don’t give af about having all those winning records in the regular season. He’s been blessed with Big Ben for so long and doesn’t know how to reconstruct a team. He doesn’t know how to make in-game changes. He doesn’t know how to beat teams when both have a lot to play for. ALWAYS out coached in big games. That’s why the Steelers only have what one playoff win in the past ten years?? Mike Tomlin is not that smart or capable as a strategist
A vocal minority has taken over the media narrative yet again. Most Steelers fans love Tomlin and the job he has done. I am very happy to see bully ball back in the Burgh.
I wouldn't trade Coach T for any other coach in the league. I used to think the Tribune Review letters to the editor column was the proof that Western PA has a lack of intelligence problem. But after listening to the Steelers fan base the last couple years im starting to think saying lack of intelligence is way to complimentary.
Exactly what I said. If you don't follow the Steelers, you won't know but Nick is a baller that could be a starter elsewhere. He's been extremely productive with very limited snaps. He's the dark horse in this matchup
Not saying Chris is a loser and would never it is rude, but the thinking is loser mentality. I'm not going for the job because I might not get it. Dude just said he'd rather not go to the playoffs than to lose in the playoffs. That's what a coach would call loser mentality. Guy got weirdly more and more dug in until he said something silly.
@kobecoleman5882 why? Both why do you think that and why would he sarcastically say that? Are you saying the whole thing was a big ironic performance, a strawman steelers fan, and he actually agrees with Rich? If so I didn't pick up on that
Wasn’t sarcastic but definitely playing devils advocate. Most shows need to represent opposing point of view. They didn't get back to a winning record until six years later. Yes, be careful what you ask for!
So how many more years of mediocrity should we go through before we are allowed to ask to move on from Tomlin and not be called spoiled or insane? I understand that you as a Lion's fan have no concept of actual expectations for excellence, so it's difficult for you to grasp where our heads are at.

Nonsense. I'm a big Steelers fan, but look at Rudolph's wins: against 2 of the worst defenses in the league on 2 non-playoff teams and the Ravens' JV squad. Now we lose TJ Watt at the end of Week 18. Bills will win by 20
huge steeler fan... bigger bills fan.. Bills by 10... but the biggest change with the steelers that not one media expert has talked about or discovered is the fact that they made adjustments to the offensive line and the hot qb has 1.7 seconds longer to look down field and react in relation to the average time prior... The alignment between lineman has expanded in space by about 3-5 inches giving them more ability to shut down the d ends rush ...that is the major change for sure... now they have time to look down field for bigger plays and that in turn as opened up the run...
Where are the Giants post Eli Manning? The chargers post Rivers? The damn Patriots after Tom Brady left? Sitting at home wishing they could be as competitive as Pittsburgh has been the last two years after retiring a first ballot hof quarterback. The Steelers have as best of a shot at pulling an upset this week than anyone else does, and it speaks to just how amazing Tomlin is. You don't get to just have 18 amazing years with a quarterback and immediately be contending in the playoffs right afterwards.
@@DavidAdarmases12 2 Superbowl championships and 3 appearances, not to mention how many times they made the conference championship game. In a conference with Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Pat Mahomes at the end. In a division with the Ravens who are well run, where the Bengals were good for a few years, all while never being below 500, all well basically never having a draft pick in the top 20. All while paying a quarterback top tier money, a quarterback who (as much as I love Ben) might not have been the best locker room guy at times. Yeah I'd say that they had a pretty amazing run the last 2 decades. Go ask Washington fans if they'd trade their last 20 years for what the Steelers have accomplished. Why does it seem like Chris is not a half empty kind of guy, but a that glass is half full, slightly discolored, and the water's slightly cloudy?
He directly cost them two games by not playing his best QB and let the best QB on his roster sit on the bench all year until he was absolutely forced to play him.
@@crowjones78 Looking from the outside in, it does appear that's what Tomlin did. The stat about Watt being in or out of the game is old. Last year, they had no depth at edge. This year, losing Watt hurts but not nearly as bad as last year. Golden and Herbig will step up.
Honestly, I’m a die hard Steelers fan. I’m 36 and can only remember off the top of my head a couple times we have had meaningless games at the end of the season. We literally get to watch games with real implications until the end of the year. I honestly can not imagine watching a team that has nothing to play for. Do we get off to slow starts sometimes and end up 2-6 yes…. There is still hope!!! And it lasts until the final game. Are there times where we are dominant over half the season and falter at the end, but still have a chance. YES! What more can a fan hope for other than just having opportunity. That’s what Steelers fans have. There is always a chance. There is always hope. It’s not likely this year, but guess what…. We have a chance!!!!
Any time the black n gold makes the playoffs they have a chance. They were the first team in history to go on the road every game of the playoffs and win the SB. As a Steeler fan I am far more comfortable going into the playoffs as an underdog.
Here's a fact of the day: since Mike Tomlin became head coach of the Steelers, they've only played one regular season game already eliminated from playoff contention. Every other year, the Steelers have either clinched the playoffs or were in the hunt.
Tomlin actually made it more difficult for Steelers to get in. He buried Rudolph 2 and a half years ago..his hand was forced to play him when ge could've started him 3 weeks ago

They are out of their frigging minds but that is giving them credit for having one. Nothing but love, admiration, and respect for Coach Tomlin. I will listen to TJ Watt and other professional NFL players who say they'd go through a wall for him rather than a bunch of whining nobodys sitting on a couch or overpaid media-talking heads!
Minus the qb position these teams match up well alot closer then most think i got a feeling if josh shows up in his prime form then my steelers going to have a tough day but if the run game working and mason can stay clean I can see it being a fight to the finish!

The problem with Tomlin is 0 playoff wins since 2016, and it’s often because he makes the same mistakes over and over again. Can just get real frustrating as a Steelers fan. He’s great, but refuses to improve
Brockman. The banner being hung for those 17 straight seasons is,... the gold jacket that will be hung over his shoulders in canton during his HOF induction. There's your damn banner
Rich is right about making the playoffs. That's all that matter is making the playoffs because anything can happen in a one game elimination situation. Whether it's an injury to a starting QB, a blocked punt, punt return for a TD, bad weather etc.
We're thrilled about the Steelers being in the playoffs. Really we are. But the bottom line is this: Tomlin was hired to was hired to win Lombardis, not seasons.
Please tell me your team, you know the one that wins all the time (10+ W’s/year) always in the playoffs and always knocking on the door of another championship even through aging and/or rookie QB’s. Please, cause I’m not familiar with that team. I prefer the Steeler way of loyalty which may mean keeping coaches or HOF QB’s a little too long as opposed to the Bill Belicheat way of kicking people to the curb too soon trying to time the market. Or the NFC South way of changing coaches every other year. No thank you, you can keep that.
The problem for fans who root for the Steelers is we're used to greatness. So when a coach makes questionable calls like sticking with Canada or Trubisky way, way past the best by date, Steelers fans notice. I'd still rather my team be too loyal than too wishy washy.
So many teams and franchises can not even see themselves going to the playoffs every season. Steelers make the playoffs and have 17 straight winning seasons. LOTS of fans would love to be in your shoes. Let us please be spoiled and feel comfortable knowing we have a winning coach!!! Release Tomlin!!!! We'll gladly take him in Atlanta!!!
Let's be honest here. If KP was the starter, why isn't he starting? Hot Hand....ROFL Bullsh%t. Hot Hand went out the window after Seattle. KP never grasped what the Steelers were trying to do. The reason Rudolph is having the success he is having is because he fits this offense AND gets what they are doing. This offense was built for a QB who stays in the pocket, is fairly accurate, can throw a long ball if needed, and most importantly, is able to read a defense. Rudolph checks all of the boxes. KP doesn't, and won't next season either. The offensive scheme is to take Najee and JW and run the ball down the opponents throats, until they start crowding the line, then to burn them when they do. Easy slant passes to the correct WR or TE and let them get the yards for you. This backs them off, and then you continue to run the ball time after time. There's 2 backs, so you don't wear them out. 4th quarter, opposing defense is exhausted. Your defense is not. The opposing offense is desperate for points. That's when mistakes occur. One good INT and its over. Lights out. Steelers offense is ALL HEALTHY right now, and Rudolph is going to continue to run, run, run, then burn them when they crowd the line. This game is over. Bills are going to lose. Count on it. Steelers going to the Super Bowl after they beat Ravens for the third time. ;)
The fact of the matter is that you cannot win a Super Bowl without making the playoffs so the Steelers have a higher chance of winning the Super Bowl this year than the colts do.
Colts have a first year Head coach the Steelers Clown has been around 17 years not a fair assessment , besides this time around the Steelers wont be facing a Back Up QB they have to Play "That Man " this wont end well for the Steelers But the Sports Media likes Tomlin so they wont say a lot but man i can still See Tomlin mumbling "Never a Losing Season " with a Fresh Josh Allen 40 Burger stuffed down his neck and the Sports Media in Lock Step calling Tomlin a GOAT ha ha ha
Loyalty can be a double edged sword....both good and bad, or more to the point...an advantage and a disadvantage....but the people that show loyalty don't do it for those reasons, they do it because it's the right thing to do and shows respect. The fact that Tomlin shows "loyalty" to not only coaches, but players as well, is exactly why they would run through a brick wall for him! Guess what...that's a good thing in football.
Rich thanks for putting your co-host in his place. Tomlin has to considered one of the top five coaches in the league. I have watched Steelers football for 50 years. Your host is in a New England homer who thinks every coach needs the SB win every 4 years to be great. As a Steelers fan I have no problem with his coaching. Tomlin should coach the Steelers as long as he wants too. The 2005 Steelers and 2010 Packers each had top 5 defenses and point differentials over +130. Those were very good teams and everyone knew it.
This year's Steelers are not in that category.
@@mrcnub Doesn't change the fact they were 6 seeds.
@@silntstl And it also doesn't change the fact that all of the teams that have claimed the 7 seeds have been garbage.
The 2005 who? Hmmm
Pittsburgh's game plan is very simple. Run the heck out of the ball with Najee and Warren and keep Allen off the field for as long as possible, especially with Watt likely out.
And it won’t work

Facts. Steelers can run the ball, and we (the Bills) have had a hard time with teams that pound the rock all year. This is going to be a dog fight. The best thing we can do is score early and often and force the Steelers into a shootout. Make them throw the ball and abandon the run and we will win.

Fans said fire Canada, Tomlin said no, we all saw what happened when Canada got fired, Steelers got the most yards since 2018 (Against Cincinnati)
Fans said put in Mason, not Mitch, Tomlin said no.

Thank you Rich.
Tomlin actually made it more difficult for Steelers to get in. He buried Rudolph 2 and a half years ago..his hand was forced to play him when ge could've started him 3 weeks ago
I mean week 13** instead of Trubisky
Ok coach. 😅😅😅
@@my98-ot7jj facts hurt you?
@@rwcrsarrc F U COACH OF NO TEAM 😂 😂
60k fans at the game chanting for Rudolph to play agree
BB Mafia here, We can never sleep on any NFL team, and especially the Steelers. They are extremely well coached! We can't let our guard down for a minute! Then hope to hell everything goes right!! Go Bills! --gary
I'm sorry. how many banners do the Bills have? can you remind me please?
They are out of their frigging minds but that is giving them credit for having one. Nothing but love, admiration, and respect for Coach Tomlin. I will listen to TJ Watt and other professional NFL players who say they'd go through a wall for him rather than a bunch of whining nobodys sitting on a couch or overpaid media-talking heads!
The NFL is the by far the biggest game of gotcha ever. Any team can be great any day. Go Steelers! Bills don't know what's coming!
the austin powers dude is a steelers hater
This made me laugh too hard.
Dr Evil about to realize the Steelers showing up like "sharks with frickin laser beams attached to their heads"
Steelers being 1-10 when Watt is out is proof enough he should be the DPOY
Minus the qb position these teams match up well alot closer then most think i got a feeling if josh shows up in his prime form then my steelers going to have a tough day but if the run game working and mason can stay clean I can see it being a fight to the finish!
Steelers played against a Lot of Back Up QB this year
As a seahawks fan, shame on all y’all in PIT callin for MT’s job.. I wish we were in the playoffs, but I still love Pete as our ball coach. Great coaches like both those guys are hard to find. People call for jobs like good coaches are right around the corner. As long as you get to the second season you got a chance!
The problem with Tomlin is 0 playoff wins since 2016, and it’s often because he makes the same mistakes over and over again. Can just get real frustrating as a Steelers fan. He’s great, but refuses to improve
@@thequeen901 if for some reason Mike T lost his job in 2016, I'd be willing to bet we'd have zero playoff APPEARANCES to this date
But you’re not in the playoffs 😂
sorry but Pete has left the building
Brockman. The banner being hung for those 17 straight seasons is,... the gold jacket that will be hung over his shoulders in canton during his HOF induction. There's your damn banner
Rich is right about making the playoffs. That's all that matter is making the playoffs because anything can happen in a one game elimination situation. Whether it's an injury to a starting QB, a blocked punt, punt return for a TD, bad weather etc.
yeah we know who is getting eliminated and it wont be the Team that got the Steelers into the last wild card spot
@@Crimson-r7vThey literally didn’t get us anywhere, we would’ve still made it ..
We're thrilled about the Steelers being in the playoffs. Really we are. But the bottom line is this: Tomlin was hired to was hired to win Lombardis, not seasons.
MIKE T GETTING THE BOYS BUSSIN
He has a ring and put respect on him he will have them ready it's coming together
Hey rich i thought you were so confident the bills got this one in the bag. Which is it?
Brockman is so emotional for no reason
I’m a Steeler fan, and I get that “making the playoffs” isn’t considered a success…that being said…10-7 w/ this team is incredible.
Herbig is really good
Where’s the Buffalo Bills Banners? Lol😂
Keep Tomlin if you want to continue to be medicore. Win 9 or 10 games a year, maybe make the playoffs and continue to be one and done.
I love it!! Sleep on Mason and the Steelers. Idk if they’ll win but they are gonna fight like hell. Big mouth baldy is clueless. Not Rich😂
Yeah it’s ok keep counting us out Sunday we bring Hell with us and it starts with the running game
Hope is still a factor as a Steelers fan. Thats part of whats so great about em. They give us hope. We’re in it.
20 straight winning seasons.....Its Tomlin that has 17 of them
That doesn’t equate to SBs that’s called mediocre 👍🏼
I want Chris to Remember this day.
Hey Rich! make sure you bring this back to him when the steelers pull the upset!
This game could be played 1 billion times, and the Steelers would never score.
He's going to eat those words about the Steelers getting smacked....
Steelernation 🔥
Indivisible. 👍
We lose without TJ cause we didn’t have an offense to keep up. Now we do. LOOK OUT
I just watched y'all battle tooth and nail with the Ravens back-ups with your season on the line. The Bills are not the Ravens back-ups
Bills fan - I think we are in for a dog fight.
Yes,but the Steelers are 1-10 without Watt ,I think the Bills d line is going to feast on the Steelers o-line
I’ll be the first to admit I got down on Coach, but he’s the craftiest slickest devil in the NFL and I appreciate him😎
Let's be honest here.
Steelers going to the Super Bowl after they beat Ravens for the third time. ;)
Where’s the Buffalo Bills banner?
Back in 2005 you guys wouldn't have given the Steelers a chance and they won it all!
Well said Rich, well said!!
It’s such a losers mindset to say “get to the playoffs even if you lose”. The Steelers fan base wants to win and be great, not just ok like the Jets.
BTW New England Homer just passed the Cheatroits consecutive non- losing seasons and the streak of not finishing in last place in division is still alive. As a fan I would rather be rooting than getting a third overall pick.
TJ will be back for the AFCCG.
no chance!!!!
Too bad the Steelers are getting bounced this weekend

You know Chris only follows the trends when he tries taking a shot at Tomlin for 17 winning seasons.. how awful he’s won 17 years in a row..
wow so a winning record big deal its the NFL its about how many superbowls have you won and when was your last one !!! or didnt you get the memo ???
@@jimmorrison8477 You are aware that the Pittsburgh Steelers have the 2nd most super bowl wins in the NFL since 2006 right?
So the whole “they haven’t done anything lately” logic doesn’t really work unless you are saying that is true for every team that isn’t New England
