When I was in my 20s, those girls 10 or so years older than me filled up the gyms in my neighborhood. I doubt she danced in her diapers to the Beatles or the Jacksons Five.😉 She missed the Motown era, too, and was a child, maybe roughly a teen in the 1970s. But I am aware, too, 30 years ago were the 1970s instead of the 1990s. I get that wrong all the time, too. 😉

I was a competitive ballroom dancer in my 30s and some of the best most elegant and beautiful dancers I ever saw were the older women. Their waltz, foxtrot, quickstep were absolutely breathtaking to watch. We have to stop 🛑 thinking once someone ages past societies expectations then it’s shocking and note worthy. Dance is for everyone and there is no age limit. ❤❤❤❤
There is a little older lady who gets her pictures developed at my job. It's all of her performances from ballet. If I had to guess she's maybe in her 70's. One time she had a different partner and I asked why and she said that that tour was in Russia.

Good lass, I'm 64 and was a freestyle disco dancer in the Fame years (early 80s) I've done the Podium in clubs with a shaggy perm, micro mini and leg warmers! We weren't always old! 😅
She has been on a couple different cruises that we've gone on and she is definitely the highlight have fun! you should hear her sing Walk This Way in karaoke LOL
You can see by her actions she is a hoot! I had several aunts we called them 'The Golden Girls', same energy and fun as your Aunt😉🤣💃. Sadly missing some of them now at our family gatherings🤗💃
