An LED/Hard SLI Bridge would be a better test, the "soft" bridges have a max throughput speed. For above 4k60fps (eg: 4K120, 5K or Surround/VR Gaming) is where the HB SLI Connector is cited as "Required" (real world functionality testing still out in being able to validate that until the Bridges proliferate). All that being said, not bad all things considered.
You can buy gfx for 10000000$ but if Your cpu is bottlenecking it will not help You.:) Gtx 1080 + i7 6700K and You dont need SLI to play 4k >60fps, cheaper and more efficient:)
I think in the comming 3 maybe 4 months when new drivers are comming out you will have better Sli support. Review websites like Guru3D who are testing the GTX 1080 Sli already stated that the current Nvidia drivers work better with the GTX 9xx series in Sli and that the GTX 10xx Sli isnt optimized yet.

Bought an i5 2400 and mobo off eBay for 120 Australian, a 7870 for 100 off gumtree. The rest pulled out of a bin..... Don't listen to people who claim that you need to spend 3000 to build a computer lol. Read up a bit about desktop computers and build one yourself. Connect it to your tv and use an Xbox controller you can pick up for 5 bucks... It's rewarding and a good hobby. Different story if u want to play at 4K though.... That's just painful

battlefield isnt a good canidate i can run bf4 maxed out everything plus res set on 200% in 1440p over 100fps with one 980 ti, ofcourse thats enabling all cores in the user.cfg im also assuming most people who plays bf3 and 4 on pc know you can run it at 60fps with a 760 max settings 1080p. The Titan and Titanium Pascal are likely to be quite a bit faster than the 1080. The full GP200 (or is it 100?) has quite a bit higher specs which is what I guess they'll be based closely on. I think it's very possible they'll use HBM2 as well, but I'm skeptical that'll yield a large performance boost in games over GDDR5X.
So if it's noticeable faster the the 1080, that's likely a yes that it will hit >45 fps in all 4k games available at the time of its release. edit: After looking at the benchmarks again, we might even get close to 60 average in most games at 4k on high settings. The 1080 already seems to be doing over 40 in most.

You need at least an led sli bridge to get the full speed. Of the full 1080 sli. With that ribbon you are limiting the cards.
Just can't do 5k and a couple other things but at least you'll be at the full 650 instead of 400.
