A couple more tips for you: You can hold down the G key while fertilizing your crops. It will show you how many fertilizer "doses" (for lack of a better word) that you put on the crop. I like to put 20 each for my cotton, tomatoes, and potatoes. Eighty on my blueberries, and 99 on my apple trees. One hundred is the limit. I don't have to fertilize as often this way. Also, I only do cotton (since I have them touching most of my tomatoes and potatoes) and tomatoes and potatoes without cotton adjacent to them. I use harvest boost on my blueberries and apple trees.
It depends if you have to water them or not. The layout in the video is great for beginners, so it wouldn't, but is great for learning and is how I started :) There's certain layouts you can do that are self-sustainable at higher levels. If the crops all have the water retain, then they grow until harvest. The layout I do for a 3x3 is wheat in the middle, tomatoes on the corners, and water retain veggies in the others. This way I don't have to water when I'm not online, but weeds can still happen occasionally.
Thank you for this. Will make gardening much easier. Up to now I've been putting like for like pkants together. Didnt know they had boosts 😅 Also...what sre the lovely onion planters? Is this something you can buy or craft?
its more for you to be able to do other things in the game, while the farm takes care of it self. ofc it would be nice is the garden actually progressed while offline too

All this AFK layouts but you still can't trade with your friends.
yeah hopefully this comes a function at some point
I think it's probably something they'll implement in the future, it wouldn't make sense not to have it
yeah i agree!
What's the point of AFKing when you literally just need to log in then log out once per hour? Hell, once per two hours if you time it right.
