There is either an epic bug or a magical creature for every grove (I think).... That's why more and more you will see the magic deer over at the southern Groves. And another for instance, there's a mountain north of the Central Stables. There are never chappas on that mountain, but I got to the Grove first and there was a white chappa in that grove. I've been checking out all the groves I've gotten to first, and I always find either an epic bug or a magical creature.
Yes, you are correct. When I hunt for groves I flip on a buzzy jar to spot the bug. Often people think the grove is just about the trees. IF they know about the grove at all. The deer and the white chappa can often be bugged at the grove depending on where the grove is located when they spawn. They could be either stuck in a spot. Or they could be hit on once and disappear.
That’s great! I love the bug jar idea. That would be good too incase your the second person there any the spooked the bug. You maybe able to get it before it disappears
@@AlphaGalaxyy Sadly if I'm not first, those who are, scare the bug. I can see the bug on my compass but when you get there you see it moving then it is gone. People don't know about them. Just like some still don't know all those trees are a grove event. They don't chop them all not being at one before to know the trees in any given area.
I once got an epic bug but that was because someone used a honey lure at the grove. I’ve almost consistently found Patronus Deers every time (Yes I call it a patronus 🤣)
This was so helpful, I play on a switch and I couldn't figure out what everyone meant about the grove. Thanks to this I understand and I saw you hit the FT once. I always see group of people together at FT so I think there in a group/party so I just walk away.but if i find one i flare and wait for someone.
@@preciousgoldi yep if you hit it once then it secures that tree rewards for you. So if someone comes and chops it down after you tapped it you will still get the drop 😊
Goldi, you probably know this by now, but the Flow Trees spawn in a random Grove every day at midnight. People tend to gather and hit them once, then cut them down at 3am. But of course there are other singular flow trees spawning through the night or whenever. In this video, Brick shows a map of where the Groves might spawn. It's a good idea to screenshot the map so you can get an idea of where they might be spawning at midnight. Cheers.
can't help but wonder how you can tell so easily which direction the grove spawn sound comes from. it just sounds like it's coming from all directions whenever i hear it.
When the sound happens if you’re not looking in the right direction it does sound like it’s everywhere. But if you spin around semi slowly the sound will get powder when you look in the correct direction ☺️. At least that’s how I do it.
You are my hero. I have come across numerous fair mantises (mantids? Mantisi?) but only one rainbow tipped butterfly out in the wild. And that one time that i did see it, i completely flaked out and it got away. I would love to finish my bundles!
This was sooo helpful! Are you playing on a PC? I play on switch and your graphics are so different than mine. Way more plants/flowers and even an extra type of mushroom than I see when I play.
I also play on Switch, and it's a little disappointing to see just how beautiful the landscape is on PC, with all the wildflowers and such, while all we have is a lot of grass lol. I wish they would add these graphics to Switch.
Great video! I had developed my own method to find groves but yours is so much better! I have gotten an epic bug before but only because everyone was bombing it so I joined in. Your Bahari Bay foliage looks much more colorful (spring-like) than mine. Is it a difference in world region?

If you use a lure between the hours of 6am-9am in game or 6pm-9pm at the shrine in kilma village. I used mine behind the dragon statue near the water and got a bunch of them. ☺️ that’s how I got my stared one.

Im a new player in palia and i dont even know how to change to chat back to server chat, im really frustrated cuz there was a group that went by me and were shooting at a rare stag type thingy and they wouldn't even let me get one hit in, i tried to tell them im new and if i could get a hit in but i was ignored. Im at a loss as to how to get help in this game from people that just dont care

@@Kitty-fox1001 so if your in a party and someone gets the big yes. If you’re not in a party you have to at least throw a bug bomb at it and hit it once to also catch said bug 🙂. But this does make it a lot nicer for people in a party too. I’m so glad they finnaly added that feature
The sticky bombs (green) ones work really good for epic bugs. You can also use the super bug bomb and carry that around which is a master ball basicly and will instantly catch it ☺️ but I like the green ones incase others see it and also want to try and catch it
Not that I know of. But I fished in my pond and got a gold fish. I also got them from the pond Jim’s usualy hangs out by in mirror fields. Good luck fishing!

Yayy! I have found them here also. I will say the green bug bombs really helped me with the rainbow tipped butterfly’s because they are so fast

If you are PC, pressing Tab changes which chat you are in. I only found out a week ago because I asked a player who visited my plot.
Rainbow Tipped Butterfly is what made me stop playing. I have everything else, but I’ve never seen one in 60 hours of looking.
