I kind of agree in a way that this is the most fun way, while sometimes I do targetfarm if I get in a hunting/fishing flow which is also very profitable solo
Exactly, that's what I do. Like if I need to go get ore/wood, I take my smoke bombs with me and catch what gets in my way, while picking flowers/shrooms. Or I'll hit all the fishing spots while gathering moss/lotus. I've had no problem making $$ doing it that way...and farming really is profitable. I keep one stack of each veggie and sell the rest and cha-ching!

I do love to do the fisherman brew, its not the only thing i do when I'm out collecting them, i keep going up and down the beach and to the different fields with the Sernuk, gathering, hunting and mining all at the same time. that way i get a good deal of stuff i can sell in various ways
That I think is the most fun way to farm indeed! I sometimes did exclusive sernuk farm if I wanted to buy a specific thing fast, but now I no longer have gold issues :D
@@04AMofficial yeah at some point you will run out of things to spend money on. but hopefully the devs got loads of plans for different things and upgrades. I always have rice in my fields. Rice for meaty stir fry is great because it only really needs you to grow any veggie + rice. The real kicker with rice is sashimi, once you have glow worms just fish in your base for scarlet koi and mottled gobi. You get more profit from the combined prices of rice, spice, and fish by turning it into sashimi and almost double if you get quality. You sell the quality ones and throw the normal ones inside the glow worm box which gives you 3 glow worms and 15 fertilizers per sashimi giving 9 glow worms and 45 fertilizers per fish. Each fertilizer also sells for 5 gold ea meaning you also get 75g for each sashimi inside the glow worm box or 225g per fish so you're getting increased profits while getting a steady source of glow worms. My end game is basically 60 tomatoes and 21 (normal) rice, fish inside the base all day with glowworm and make sashimi. You can also invite friends so they get tens of thousands of gold for quite literally free.
Thanks so much for making this video. As a new gamer it's hard to figure these things out! I also think the hunting is my absolute favorite (but kinda hard because I had to get over killing animals, lol) but I'm happy to see I'm focusing on the better things to make money with already. I was surprised about the fishing and am still working on getting a couple more crafters permits so I can place more glow worm farms...but then I have to find flow...ug. lol Interesting you don't have the blueberries or apples. I was thinking the blueberries once made into preserves would make a lot of money but it takes 47 minutes to make them so now, as you say, probably not the best use of my time for making money on that one at least.
Just today I told my friend about the tomato farm bc it's reusable as well as it's too easy to manage the farm better 😄 Was thinking why i am planting wheat plant tomato you can re-use it and earn stable income 😅
Eh I enjoy the bug catching the most. And while I do it I have like 4-5 looms running making silk from the silk strands that I get from bug catching. I used the buzzy jars to track only rare and up bugs in Bahari Bay. Yesterday I ended up getting 4.5k in 15 minutes(the amount a jar tracker lasts) 😅
super sold but really doing a grid with crop boost with your tomatos is best. My actual favorite includes 4 preserving bins. I preserve by starr potatos, bluberries and apples I keep that going and keep a stock of 90 each as I sell any excess or turn it into seeds.
Great video, I'm currently fishing with no bait behind the mayor's house. Any rod will do and only one fish spawns there. Its sells for 85 and one stack in 425 😅
We just made ~60k Gold /hour for everyone who participated. We were 12 People and baking the Celebration Cake. (~50 times). 12 People seemed to be the cheapest way. This is a banger. We are going to do this every to every 2nd day from now on.
Multiplayer cooking is for sure the best way to get most gold, while it can be tough to set up. I want to give it a shot one day as well with such a large party. Im sure its great fun with Discord and all 😁👌
I've made most of my money bug catching. Definitely slept on. Tho there is only one good spot I've found. Mirror fields, leafhoppers and dragonflies are faily common and from my experience is about 10k an hour. Better rates during the day. Pro tip, foliage set to low for best visibility.
Hunting makes 16-20K though, fishing also around 16K per hour (without calculating the cost of making glow worms etc). Bug catching doesnt get close imo, but if you like it go for it! Its not all about the 'best way', have fun while youre doing it because only then it will be efficient and worth it long term
@@04AMofficial Yes, totally! Not knocking anything as I do a mix of everything at this point. Just looking to find viable methods for each skill. Like you said, not all about the best way. I just see bug catching downed on and it can be decent if catching with purpose. I also realized silk can be processed and added to this total, not sure exactly how much. I'd guess another 1.5k. My main complaint is lack of variety. I've yet to test a lot in bahari. I think running the river for inky dragonflies could be viable. I'll probably test soon. But mirror fields is the only spot in town. Helps to learn which are rare as well, most tend to be worth 120+. I always snag those if I pass one.
Best to make money for me is hunt Gems all colours! I got all Mining Spots and come home with Mats to craft stones , Firestones and Iron or Copper and many Gems they are worth 30 min 5-10k Gold in sellingbox ! But i have Mats to craft other things with Stones , Iron and Copper! U got mats and craft ure fishBrew to Zero and have nothing but a bit gold! Hope that helps! Take all Minings not only copper and Iron only then the most of the Gems are in normal Mining Stone Spots! Hav Fun!
After you hunt and then cook meat - did you add cooking time to gold per hour calculation? You are after all doing that at opportunity cost of more hunting.
Are the tomatoes the best one to farm? I've been using cotton but now don't know xD The fact that you dont have to plant them again right after the harvest is actually very usefull, even it only lasts for like 2 harvests
I know sometimes I say the same too much, working on that :D Also, just got myself about 17K gold - testing shared with a new update video in response to the nerf
You're a quick one, I give you that. I knew RUclipsrs would find a way around the nerf sooner or later :D But it's kinda sad tho.. Palia was supposed to be a cosy game, but feels more and more like a true grinder with that prices...
Personally I love the most doing hunting. Fishing is just brain melting boring and catching bugs is a bit annoying, you can see animals from far away but to see a bug you need to be pretty close. By hunting I as well can go to part of the map to either focus on mushrooms, mining or gathering spice sprouts, whichever I need at the moment. Then I can cook with it and just take a look at my farm every time I come back. Only thing I would say depending on if you want to make full profit I'd recommend making leather. It takes 4 hours to make a stack of 50 but you will get slightly more and you can just log off. Maybe you can combine it with making 50 leather when you are done with the game so you don't need to wait, it will just happen. But imo you can as well just play, at the end of playing sell what you've made and put another 50. Game developers definetly should make leather more than only 2 gold more tho. But as well it is just good to always have resources, you never know, maybe you will need 10 leather to some quest and then you will just have it instead of waiting 50 minutes.
When you say sharing resources with party members that means, only 1 needs to have the ingredients and the other just need to participate in cutting cooking stirring?
How is it that every video I see they are making so much out of a full inventory and im only making barely 1k out of a full inventory with one backpack expansion nothing that im catching is worth mira than 100
Ngl, doing any of these methods for an hour sounds like a pain. Fishing or cooking seem to be the worst in terms of fun while hunting still lets you run around. Keep in mind that the latest patch nerfed the spawning of creatures in Kilima which makes it way less profitable at any stage in the game.
Yea I feel you. I spent hours working on 'perfect' layouts, but they take forever to replant (if only it was possible to draw the layout and auto plant later), for now ill just stick to Tomatoes only as they are fantastic for my Glow Worm Farms, cooking dishes and high sell value without too much trouble
wow I didn't know they transfer the value, I thought cooked fish is all the same and it would be lower, so I sell it raw. Would have cooked it for the exp and money.
bin using the hunting rotation since closed beta (mine copper to replenish arrows people) Tomato farm -> sell glow worms/seeds(keep a stack for the farm) and while in the south western part of the hunt rotation grab any lilys and moss i find for the fish brews. then have cooking day with the mates for the extra cash flow every now and then.
@@04AMofficial Oh no i mean it was nerfed not needing a nerf . All i know is after the patch i sold some and it felt off like i did not get the same amount of coin like i used to .
It doesnt need a nerf, there are plenty other stupid ways to get much gold (less efficient ones though). Deer hunting is only a bit more profitable vs fishinf while it needs much more focus. I think both are in balance
Usless. Buy the time your high enough level to build and use that rod, money probably wont be an issue. You should be telling people how to make it at start
I'm new to palia I'm playing on switch, thanks for the info I appreciate it. Before I saw this video I was already doing the tomato farm so I guess I was on the right track. Haven't been hunting much because on the switch it's super laggy and glitchy most the animals aren't even real or something they are holograms on the switch lol i guess after a few patches down the road the switch version will be better but as of now it's tough to hunt or catch bugs. I'm definitely going to try the cooking method I like those mini games.
Great video, and I love how dedicated and thorough you are with your tests. I would like to see the time it takes to grill those fish and the cost in time and gold to generate the worms added in. If you take hunting you have the price and time of making arrows, but apart from that you can sell it all as is, or you can spend more time making leather and cooking.. the core value should be "gold earned" / time spent (preparation, activity, post activity) - peraparation expenses. That should give a more accurate measurement and make it easier to compare the different activities.
The most money/time you can get is looking for groups to bake celebration cakes. Cooking and selling cakes can generate about 40-60k/hr depending on how many star cakes you make. Star blueberries and star jam is the best way to increase star quality cake chance. The only down side is you need to find a bunch of people to bake with which takes some time itself.
The question is which of these can bring you the most money w/o needing to mine or melt anything, because yeah hunting will bring you 20k Gold an hour, but if you deduct the value of all the copper you needed to make these arrows and the time you took to chop down trees, it's not worth it 😂
Yeah this was the problem with a lot of this video. Cooking is 11k per hour once you've spent 3 hours farming ingredients and a bunch of gold on the eggs. Would love to see an updated video where everything is accounted for. Even fishing it was 30 minutes of farming and then ?? Minutes cooking them. The cooking time needs to be counted if you're using the cooked fish for profit calculations
All professions or skills in this game require some form of prepwork or resources, just like the hunting. You could buy bars for Arrow crafting which I don't recommend. Instead, I just farm Copper during Sernuk farms if I need it. Trust me you'll find plenty of nodes here so it will barely feel like 'you need to prepare', while for Fishing and Cooking its 100x more prepwork.
@@04AMofficial "Trust me you'll find plenty of nodes here so it will barely feel like 'you need to prepare', while for Fishing and Cooking its 100x more prepwork." I mean that's exactly their point, isn't it? While they vastly overestimate how much preparation hunting needs, they are completely right that prepwork (and even the time you need to get to your farm spot) should be included in all estimations. Also it's not just important to compare different farming methods, but also do determine if grilling meat actually nets more profit than just doing more hunting. I appreciate all the work you did, but I think you could do even better by including the whole process for each method.
@@04AMofficial Maybe but you can still go fishing with just your rod, no worm and still get good money out of it while the other methods will still require for you to mine for the clay, hunt for the fur (catching bugs) or mine the mineral, smelt them then go chop some trees to make some arrows then buy some more ingredients to make some food that'll take someone else to help you out. So IMO early game, fishing might be the best way to get money as you can even do some of it while on your plot. meaning you can attend your farm at the same time and a worm farm as well.
Farming tomatoes is really quick. I fill up seed collector and glow worms farms with one harvest and sell the rest. Then go fishing and exploring, gather palium ect. I have all the upgrades on backpack and 60K gold now. Not really playing all that much. Seems to be pretty easy way to make gold in game.
I think catching bugs is the absolute worst mechanic in this game. I want a net and a stealth ability. Throwing smoke bombs is just not fun. I struggle to level this skill up
I love it so much especially with the buzzy jar I just go around the map catching them and getting silk that sells for a lot like 5 pieces of silk is like 1,100
Thanks for the guide! Gardening is awesome as a passive income. But a 9x9 field with only tomatoes is not to recommend. It will then require water each day! So not so passive anymore and you will also miss out the harvest boost require you to also use fertilizers that also takes time and energy to maintain. I recommend you to find a good template pattern that give you 1: Water Retain and 2: Harvest Boost on as many plants you can. All of them if you use a good template. Sure, this will require you to remove some tomato plants in order to put in other plants that give you the Water Retain and Harvest boost but that will give you other crops that also sell for some, and also you get more diffrent crops to use in diffrent cooking recipies as well. I use both Rice and Wheat in my field for the increase yield, and that will even give you more harvest in your Worm/Glowworm Farm than Tomatos! But the most important is that you dont have to do anything until the plant is harvestable after depening what plants you use. All you need to check is for weed, but weed is not so common and takes just one click to remove. And if you forget one weed its not that big deal, that plant will just come 1 day behind the rest or so.
Yeha I noticed that, I use them on some of my plants to boost the wheat/rice. But it drains fast, and thats just for like 20 ish plants on my plot thats NOT boosted by other plants nearby! And with 9x9 Tomatoes, that is 81 fertilizers each hour (they do tick down once every in-game day right?) so you then better have huge fertilizer-production since its 1 fertilizer produced per hour :) So I'd say its better to try use a farm where you have this boost "free" from nearby plants. In the long run its probably worth it :) @@PaulyPop
You realize that's generally a good thing, yeah? If one way of playing the game is generating 10x more gold per hour than any other way, it should probably be nerfed to be brought closer in line with the intended gold per hour.
Gonna try the tomato farm after my fields clear, been making mass cotton for money cause fabric sells well, and i never really thought of actully checking what made more gold in the long run. thanks for the vid edit:decided to actually look at what fabric gold was vs cotton and i've been wasting my time for 3 gold pieces more
But tomatoes don't need replanting seeds so often so you are saving a lot of money from that. I don't have the maths with me now but i think tomatoes are better.
That farm is braindead :D my worms are basically free now with my Tomato farm and fishing with Worms also gives you 16-20K/hr , much more interesting than farming the same fish over and over imo, especially if you have a chance of catching uncommons with +200 value or epics with +400 value (which have a much higher value increment when cooked into Star Quality)
at the mansion in town, there's a little patch of water, if you stand in the right spot it would allow you to catch fish that normally are caught with worms (watch the video) @@banshee22 they patched it tho
This game starts with a BIG LIE and carries this lie towards its current "end-game" (whatever the end-game is): They (the devs) keep talking about "COSY, CASUAL" and "ABUNDANCE". First of all, the PRICES for absolutely everything (blueprints, recipes, mats) are stupidly expensive. A true casual player is forced into grinding for his entire gaming session. Gear is degrading way too fast and the repair prices are absolutely outrageous. So the casual player is literally forced into more grinding, just to be able to afford gear repairs (repair station+repair kits or pay coin upfront; it's all the same). Simply put, the current state of the game has absolutely nothing with CASUAL unless the player doesn't care about progression AT ALL. Now about this "abundance" ... They (the devs) just NERFED the amount of insects, plants and animals. Apparently they were "too abundant" ... LOL. Not to mention, some plants literally vanish into thin air as soon as you get close to them, for no particular reason. As a result the players are "gifted" with MORE GRINDING. Also, speaking of abundance (in a fantasy world with magic and bla-bla) ... a piece of meat (or whatever) produces ... ONE WORM. Let's repeat this: 1 x MEAT = 1 x WORM (LOL !!!)... AND "rotting" takes several Real-Life-MINUTES. This is why the casual player is forced to: a) grind more to buy "licenses" for "multiple crafting stations" ... b) fill his "estate" with rows and rows of ugly crafting stations. Simply put, say Good-Bye to a "COSY home", say Hello to an absolutely STUPID and UGLY INDUSTRIAL PARK which is NEEDED to "fix" the ... "abundance" of .
I agree that the prices feel very expensive early game, but once you get a farm going and have some cashflow, youll have plenty for everything in no time. Once you have your tool upgrades and basic blueprints, everything becomes much easier (i always have like 20K pocket money now). The grind is real though (but this is a grind sim, so you should be prepared), if you dont like grindy games i dont recommend playing this one
I agree partly, for early players it kinda sucks how much I gotta just hunt & forage just to buy a simple recipe. I'm hoping the tips here will least make it bit easier to get money when needed, resources is hard enough just to make bricks for me right now. Seems I need bunch just to make better tools.
Trust me its not worth the struggle as different crops have different growth timers and tomatoes can even be harvested multiple times which makes it even more chaotic and diffcult to plan a working setup that doesnt get messed up all the time when farming. I decided to cut the crap and just focus on Tomatoes. It works extemely well, doesnt clutter my invetory and chest with 100 different seeds, resource qualities etc. Works for my glow farm, for cooking soups and has high sell value. There is probably a more efficient layout but time management and plan wise it wont be in the long run based on all the time and attention it needs
I guess the point is to make it most time efficient, because you can use the saved time for hunting or other profitable activities. Tomatoes work best, because you seldom have to replant. So if you are looking purely from a money making perspective it actually might be the best solution. But if you want gardening to be a bit more of an experience and also plan in cooking all the meals for the achievement you want a more diverse garden.
So for the hunting...what's your CoG's? How much value in copper/wood do you lose? That technically counts against your profits. Does the profit equate that? Is it still #1?
GReat video I just subbed. I have a question. Do you know if there is a way to hook up a game controller to the game? I would love to play this on my 65 inch TV instead of my little laptop.
TY I'm still rather new to the game & need 50k to get my last backpack upgrade, I just got my 3rd soil plot so now I will plant tomatos, I work alone I don't have any palia friends yet so can't take advantage of cooking but least so far this is the best money helper I seen. Yep I've watched several, now I know where to hunt more & lol concentrate on making more arrows.
why standard arrows? just asking. when ever i tried hunting sernuk with standard arrows they seemed to run away instead of dying unless i shot them multiple times. am i doing something wrong or did they change something?
Mining is actually really good , when you start getting a lot of gems , they sell for a lot . some sell for 2k each. so dont discount mining altogether
- NOTE! The new update has made mining a bit more profitable! Finding new starstones can range from 150 gold a piece up to I believe 3-5 thousand for certain starstones! (:
Rest of methods are good but you so bad at gardening. Even if you dont wont to try more complicate layaouts you have to make seeds from tomattos. Like tomatto seed are near to 2 times more value than pure tomatto. Yes i took time but its worth specialy for night. Make more machines to make seed and look at income. Every one who are good at gardening know selling pure crops are waste.
Trying to make the most profit in the least amount of time kind of defeats the whole purpose of this game for me, which is to relax and take my time and not worry about any meta stuff. There's plenty of games out there to do that with. Great guide nonetheless though.
Bug catching is worthy only if you know how to do it and after level 10; it is not boring at all at higher levels IMO. Hunting all the time makes the game a little bit boring don't you think? Thanks for the great video as always.
I hoped bug catching was gonna be a bit more than throwing bombs on them late game but unfortunately not. The bug lure and tracker seem interesting, but hunting is more my vibe I guess :P cheers!
@@04AMofficial I mean it depends on how you look at it . Bug hunting is throwing a bomb and deer hunting is throwing a stick . At the end of the day it is all throwing something at something . One could argue fishing is throwing a worm at a fish , minning is throwing a pick at a rock . Gardening is throwing water at a plant . Cooking is throwing tomatoes at a stove . ROFL XD
Actually mineing a really good way to make money i made alot mineing and getting those gems from it so dont dise mineing but its not quick enough like i need it to be that's the only downside
With the fishing in the video. In order to correctly calculate your GPH, you also need to factor in the costs of the worms. And yes there is a cost, even with the worm farms. Your time put everything into the worm farms, your time gathering those materials, etc.. The GPH for that is then far less.
I agree, but that would be difficult to calculate as every player does it different. Some farm the resources for worms, some buy them and some unlock them with currency. I totally agree though that fishing is much less efficient vs hunting
I think the best method is just to do all of them rotating in whatever is most convenient for you at the time.
I kind of agree in a way that this is the most fun way, while sometimes I do targetfarm if I get in a hunting/fishing flow which is also very profitable solo

@@cmykategirl i believe it was from reth at a specific cooking level. Let me know if im wrong, i will check later :)
Can add me and invite me for the party? name: Tolady 😊
Bug cathing is my favourite next to gardening...
Mining makes me the most money. Maybe im just lucky but i always get the good stones worth 500 to 1000 each.
Are the tomatoes the best one to farm? I've been using cotton but now don't know xD
The fact that you dont have to plant them again right after the harvest is actually very usefull, even it only lasts for like 2 harvests
It lasts for 3-4 for me, and I love not having to constantly replant
Turn the tomatoes into seeds and sell the seeds and you make twice the gold.
Great guide thanks
Hunting's been nerfed though. Its honestly more worth hunting the chapaa's now.
this was helpful!
keep the bow as makeshift bow. Saves repairs, works the same
Trust me, at some point you'll want the Exquisite and at that point you'll literally making repair kits with Iron and Palium :D
How often you say "boy, oh boy" you could make a drinking game out of this.
Patch dropped this night, things should be different now.
I know sometimes I say the same too much, working on that :D
Also, just got myself about 17K gold - testing shared with a new update video in response to the nerf
You're a quick one, I give you that. I knew RUclipsrs would find a way around the nerf sooner or later :D
But it's kinda sad tho.. Palia was supposed to be a cosy game, but feels more and more like a true grinder with that prices...
if yuou dont care for the hunting coin rewards , buy the rockets and sell them
i had 270 hunting coins which turned into 22k
As long as you contribute at least 1 item to the cooking, you will get the full reward
@@04AMofficial meaning i still need to bring my own set of ingredient?
Roses are Red Violets are Blue you asked for a comment so ya boy came through.
How can I visit friend's house ?
How is it that every video I see they are making so much out of a full inventory and im only making barely 1k out of a full inventory with one backpack expansion nothing that im catching is worth mira than 100
Ngl, doing any of these methods for an hour sounds like a pain. Fishing or cooking seem to be the worst in terms of fun while hunting still lets you run around. Keep in mind that the latest patch nerfed the spawning of creatures in Kilima which makes it way less profitable at any stage in the game.
tip for the glowworm farms: sell the tomato for 34g and buy meat for 26g at zeki's
"Boy oh boy"
Man I spent hours designing the perfect farm but maintaining it is such a pain in the ass.. your idea seems much easier to maintain.
It doesn't always become star quality, but the Cooking XP is worth it and the Star Quality ones every now and then are a nice bonus
thank you
I just sell stuff. Mostly crops.
with tomato cost to turn into seed from 2 to 3 the income is no longer as efficient. sad times.
Is this current for patch 166?
Sernuk hunting can still make you 16-20K gold easy, I just tested and shared my results in a new video!
Doesnt this just remove the entire reason to play palia?! Was hoping this would be the ultimate zen game.
Why would you NOT turn your tomatoes into seeds!? It DOUBLES in value!!
Dude, I literally made a video about it... ;D
ah no wonder my hunting farm is filled up with makeshift arrow users xD
bin using the hunting rotation since closed beta (mine copper to replenish arrows people)
Tomato farm -> sell glow worms/seeds(keep a stack for the farm)
and while in the south western part of the hunt rotation grab any lilys and moss i find for the fish brews.
then have cooking day with the mates for the extra cash flow every now and then.
I just hope that they raise the money cap from $300,000
OOOO good to know, I'd hate to try make more find out I can't.
the thumb nail said 22 an hour since he used a . instead of a ,
I'm really enjoying the game but the fact they keep nerfing everything to ruin the economy is really discouraging.
Fisherman's brew farm was pretty good but nerfed with the latest patch when they nerfed plant spawns.
Oddly, I found that the moss and lotuses spawn even quicker for me 🤔
RIP the sernuk info though. Those spawns got nuked.
Yeah, videos such as this are great but the down side is the HUGE flux of players because, lets be honest, everyone wants that gold!
Sernuk hunting can still make you 16-20K gold easy, I just tested and shared my results in a new video!
Why are people so eager to rush gold making. This is supposed to be a super chill game that you play at your own pace lol.
Sadly sernuk farm is too popular I can hardly find them x'D
I tend to wander around until I find like 5 or 6 in same area usually is good spot to hunt, cuz when I move further in I find more.
sernk got nerfed
I already made a video about it and still 16-20k/hr :P
Aaaand they nerfed animal density, so hunting has been nerfed.
You're late. I already made an update video in which I share that its still VERY MUCH worth hunting Sernuk ^^
Rip fishermans brew nerf
Idk if it needs a nerf tbh, but the price does feel weird vs the base ingredient values xD
@@04AMofficial Oh no i mean it was nerfed not needing a nerf . All i know is after the patch i sold some and it felt off like i did not get the same amount of coin like i used to .
Hunting doesn't work as good anymore! video was 1 day to early
I can cook for crap
Yawn
Hope they nerf tonight the deer hunt 😅
It doesnt need a nerf, there are plenty other stupid ways to get much gold (less efficient ones though). Deer hunting is only a bit more profitable vs fishinf while it needs much more focus. I think both are in balance
Please don't rotate your camera all the time, I'm getting really sick of it 😵💫
Usless. Buy the time your high enough level to build and use that rod, money probably wont be an issue. You should be telling people how to make it at start
Fisherman Brew got heavy nerfed, tho its still nice to farm cooking xp
In a 100x cake party, I can generate about 65-75k gold in about 45-50 min.
The hunting way got nerfed today on the patch. Less deer spawn
Good to know, I was wondering about that today - just figured someone else was out farming them to oblivion again.
yeah they destroyed the fun in deer hunting, realy sad
Sernuk hunting can still make you 16-20K gold easy, I just tested and shared my results in a new video!
Yes! I saw that. Some days ago was so many of them, now is 3/6 per area 😢
@@04AMofficial
"Trust me you'll find plenty of nodes here so it will barely feel like 'you need to prepare', while for Fishing and Cooking its 100x more prepwork."
I mean that's exactly their point, isn't it?
The furtilizer for quality or quantity boost can be stacked up multiple times, so just stack up like 10 poop on the plant when you plant them
Yeha I noticed that, I use them on some of my plants to boost the wheat/rice.
But it drains fast, and thats just for like 20 ish plants on my plot thats NOT boosted by other plants nearby!
And with 9x9 Tomatoes, that is 81 fertilizers each hour (they do tick down once every in-game day right?) so you then better have huge fertilizer-production since its 1 fertilizer produced per hour :)
So I'd say its better to try use a farm where you have this boost "free" from nearby plants. In the long run its probably worth it :)

I think the devs are nerfing the money-making ways just as fast as they're being discovered. It's rather discouraging. Thank you for your guides!!
Don't worry, it still works like a charm. I made an update video on Sernuk hunting today ^^
You realize that's generally a good thing, yeah? If one way of playing the game is generating 10x more gold per hour than any other way, it should probably be nerfed to be brought closer in line with the intended gold per hour.
I wish and can't wait for something like a coop and barn so you can make your own milk and eggs. Along with something like an oil press and feed maker
Gonna try the tomato farm after my fields clear, been making mass cotton for money cause fabric sells well, and i never really thought of actully checking what made more gold in the long run. thanks for the vid edit:decided to actually look at what fabric gold was vs cotton and i've been wasting my time for 3 gold pieces more
but cotton has a higher value than tomatos, is better just sell the cotton
But tomatoes don't need replanting seeds so often so you are saving a lot of money from that. I don't have the maths with me now but i think tomatoes are better.
I play on switch. I wanna ask why does the world look more lively on pc but i know the answer 😒😒😒
Graphical limitations of the switch.
@@dwong98 yeah i figured 😔😔😔
it still cannot beat the fishing at mansion, where i can get 8500 in 42min, all this without spent any worms, so its clean cash :)
That farm is braindead :D my worms are basically free now with my Tomato farm and fishing with Worms also gives you 16-20K/hr , much more interesting than farming the same fish over and over imo, especially if you have a chance of catching uncommons with +200 value or epics with +400 value (which have a much higher value increment when cooked into Star Quality)
not anymore, they fixed the bug xD

Thing with fishing is glowworms take forever to farm
NO DONT SELL THE FIELF FRUITS!MAKE THEM TO CORN AND SEED! MAKE MUTCH MORE MONEYYYÄ
Annoyingly they have a 300k cap. I wanna be a millionaire lol
wouldn't it be more profitable to grow tomatoes with some layouts mixing in other crops for water retaining and boosting amount of tomatoes harvested?
Trust me its not worth the struggle as different crops have different growth timers and tomatoes can even be harvested multiple times which makes it even more chaotic and diffcult to plan a working setup that doesnt get messed up all the time when farming. I decided to cut the crap and just focus on Tomatoes. It works extemely well, doesnt clutter my invetory and chest with 100 different seeds, resource qualities etc. Works for my glow farm, for cooking soups and has high sell value. There is probably a more efficient layout but time management and plan wise it wont be in the long run based on all the time and attention it needs
@@04AMofficial yeah, I don't know if I really like that complexity of making layouts. Weird feature.
@@04AMofficial I generally will do tomatoes and potatoes to get the hydration buffs on everything and then make lots of loaded potato soup.
Same! You can easily farm 10k in 10m!! It's crazy. Not to sure if it's gonna get nerfed? But right now the best money making method is mining!
@@SKETCHGAMING69 it’s insanityyyyy
@@AXVVX gonna put up a new video on it today! ;) haha
@@04AMofficial what I like is finding those rare bugs. And yes, it needs some improvements;)
ROFL XD
I think your gonna need an updated video soon with all the changes
Actually mineing a really good way to make money i made alot mineing and getting those gems from it so dont dise mineing but its not quick enough like i need it to be that's the only downside
idk i made about 4k in ten minutes with just two honey lures so i can’t say it’s bad especially not compared to mining for cash.
and what you gonna do with all those millions of gold you got????????????
I rather choose to enjoy my time in Palia.
I do the gardering method with tomatos but instead of seling the tomatos i make pickle tomatos
I totally agree though that fishing is much less efficient vs hunting
turn tomatos to seeds, and cakes to glowworms. doubles worth of all of it.
Cooking the meat made like $300 more coins? Or did I see it wrong
