I have no clue if this is just proof that Gloryhammer makes great music, but the fact that it still souds good while having only half the beats has to mean something.
Nearly any 4/4 song will sound fine when you cut half of it out because it just becomes a 4/4 song with a slightly different arrangement of notes. Additionally, since you're going into it with the knowledge that its a fucky meme thing and this isn't how it's supposed to sound, your brain will smooth over small things to make it sound better to you
