Mighty warriors of the galaxy, the time has come: Gloryhammer have forged their third album! The next thrilling chapter of the heroes around mastermind Christopher Bowes (Alestorm) awaits! The spies of Emperor Zargothrax are everywhere, which is why Legends from Beyond the Galactic Terrorvortex has been secretly recorded in an undisclosed location in the highlands of Scotland with producer Lasse Lammert. Mighty fanfares guide the listener into his journey through the Terrorvortex - and only the bravest warriors will make it out of this maelstrom, clad in triumphant power metal and epic orchestral backgrounds. It's also another neat reversal of storyline in the Terrorvortex reality: whereas before Angus sought the help of the Knights of Crail to combat corrupted unicorns, now a different Angus seeks the help of unicorns to combat the corrupted Deathknights of Crail.
Well xargothrax knew the knights of crail once beat his unicorn army so corrupted the alternate universe knights of crail instead knowing they would be more powerfull

If you think about it, it's weird that Unicorns became a "Girly" thing. I mean, it's a massive muscular creature with a sword on its face - can't get much more metal than that!
Probably happened because of the fact that all the girls eventually evolved a horse-fetish, which was triggering as f*ck, and that on most pictures, glitter and rainbows were added to the unicorns.

Took the wife and kids on vacation this summer to Scotland, England and France. Was belting out Gloryhammer tunes while driving through the Kingdom of Fife and all around the eastern half of Scotland... even more so when we stopped in Dunkeld for lemonade and scones! It was truly epic!!!

@@randomstuff1019 Usually in power metal (from what I've listened to anyway) key changes go higher, I rarely ever hear them go lower, so that's what I mean by reverse.

I prefer to lay down with headphones and absorb songs to the maximum. Sony 7506 or Skullcandy Crushers depending on the song.

@@snickylzn Nah, from the entire album, this song stand out the best. The intro, the riffs, the chorus, solo... And just that chorus, the harmonics in the chorus are awesome. Don't get me wrong, the whole album is excellent, but this one is really special and I am glad to hear they can create such songs after a few albums and despite having to take care of Alestorm. Can't wait to hear more stuff from them.
Plus, Master of the Galaxy sounds more like a tribute to "Masters of the World" from Sabaton (and probably intended from Bowes)
Gloryhammer always blows me away with how singable their choruses are, how much fun I find myself hollering them and how well worded they are.
I'm normally overtly critical by nature and every up point is normally acompanied by a down, but I just love Gloryhammer.
Sabaton is slightly better imho
It is well structured. But in the choral section Rhapsody (with luca) rules.
My one complaint: Should have had a picture of Ralathor in towards the end. Other than that it's amazing
I think they were very limited with images. Thats why I prefer the lyric videos from Frederico rather then the originals, because its more then just reused images from the cove art.
Well, if they had pictures of the mysterious submarine commander, Relathor, all over the place, he wouldn't be so mysterious.
My complaint is that it ends.

The intro with the loud yet subtle banging then even more subtle bard like trumpets 🎺 (?) Into the transfer of bonding them both weaving together then the start of the lyrical singing,......is such a doozy its a Rager and yet relaxing.
