I came back to see this AFTER I EXPERIENCED a very serious problem, similar to yours... I had a Bell pepper plant that was doing great... about a foot tall... all of a sudden I noticed the same drooping of my plant as well as another plant I had on opposite side of deck. I knew immediately something was severely wrong as I was being careful not to overfeed or use too strong nutrients that would burn it. Burning wasn't the case... it was the wilting & drooping with very green foilage. I decided to visually see that the pump was pumping water out each spout on grow deck even though I could hear the pump noise when it came in. MUCH TO MY SURPRISE, there was little too no water coming out of top deck watering the plants. 😲 HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!! I took it to the sink being careful not to break the tall plants. I Set the deck onto an oval kitchen platter until i cleaned the bottom unit & changed the water. When i took the pump out of the holderS, and took a look with a flashlight into the tall white funnel looking thing, the water pumps up through to the upper deck & onto the pods, THERE WAS A ROOTBALL(from trimming the sides of the roots that came off in very short lengths), BLOCKING THAT TALL WHITE ROUND FUNNEL THING. Once I removed it the water was once again able to flow freely as intended. Unfirtunately I waited too long after ibserving my drooping plants, and of course lost all that was in that 1 AG. In another AG unit before going to bed I always check water level, but noticed the sound of pump in #3 AG did not sound as it always sound - just a slight difference in the sound. Upon further examination, I think I found long roots entangled in the pump, best I can recall. After clearing away, the pump sounded normal.
Another great video. Thanks! My only shishito pepper plant flowered and looked incredibly healthy. A few days ago, it died for some unknown reason, never producing one pepper. I'm so depressed trying to figure out what went wrong. It was about 60 days old and growing by itself in a Mufga. I used MaxiGro. When I examined the roots, they had bumps on them. After watching this video, I may try growing 2 Shishito peppers in my LetPot SE. I'm somewhat confused as to whether I was supposed to switch over from MaxiGro to MaxiBloom once the flowers developed. Anyway, I'm glad your plants produced peppers.
Sir, I never grew Shishito Peppers until I saw you plant them way back in different garden... I was afraid they would be super hot... so I really don't know how to use them. I have then in an outdoor pot... Do you have a tasty recipe ? Thanks.
You really do such a good job with your videos...
Thank you so much!

I'm really glad that you showed us how you pruned these plants to keep beneath the light... otherwise we might feel like we would kill them. 🙈
From seed to Side dish. I bet they were delicious!😊

I love when you post! Thank you for such great content.. I’m growing 3 varieties of peppers now
Glad you like them! Thank you for your support.
Sire..do you use any ventilation at your smart gardens...it is mandatory or they can work without it?
Thank you for running so many experiments for us
How did they taste?
They taste excellent. Lots of pepper flavor but not spicy.
You inspired me to grow shishito peppers in my hydroponic garden! I’m so curious to know why they pooped out! So weird

Thanks.
The best recipe with shishito peppers is "Blistered Shishito Peppers" that I showed at the end of the video.
