    So hard to believe at the time this beauty only had 3 years left on this earth..so unfair, she'd be 85 today! Rest in Peace "Liz"

      R.I.P. lovely lady. You are missed. ❤

    She didn't want her dad to narrate the first season of bewitched because "it was too close to home". Her dad didn't think that when he helped her on her first start on his show. I dont know, that and wanting Dick York off the show. I find it difficult to believe she did not win one of the five times she was nominated for an Emmy because Samantha Stevens the sweet loving wife was not who Elizabeth Montgomery was. She was a good actress.

      Gig was a chronic alcoholic and womanizer. It would appear that Foxworth was an improvement and Liz certainly deserved to be happy.

    • @jasonhurd4379
      @jasonhurd4379 5 лет назад +5

      Back in the postwar era, EVERYBODY smoked, except Mormons and Seventh-Day Adventists. When I was growing up in the 1960s, it was everywhere. People smoked in restaurants, in movie theaters, on airplanes, in department stores, just everywhere. You couldn't escape it. The only place folks didn't smoke was church. The current social disapproval of smoking is very much a modern-day phenomenon. It is also a geographic one, being limited to the coasts of the USA. Everywhere else, Europe, Asia, Africa et al, people still smoke like trains.
