300,000 lives on the line - how UNMISS protects Bentiu residents from climate shocks

Protecting civilians isn't easy, especially against the sort of climate shocks that have ravaged Unity state, #SouthSudan, in past years. However, #UNMISS peacekeepers from #Pakistan, in partnership with host communities, local authorities + the larger United Nations family, have mounted an extraordinary response to an extraordinary crisis, working 24/7 to keep some 300,000 residents of Bentiu safe since 2020.
