Here is an arrangement of The Pixies' "Where is my mind" from "Surfer Rosa" (1988).
I heard the song for the first time in the end scene from "Fight Club" (1999) and the song has been following me ever since.
The arrangement is made from the version for piano made by Maxence Cyrin.
Notes about tuning: This arrangement requires you to tune the low E-string down to D and the A-string down to G.

Great song choice especially the Cyrin's version. The part you play higher on the neck + the dynamics you create with loudness sounds so relaxing. I would've had such a difficult time figuring this one by ear if not for your tabs. Thank you for everything and keep up the videos.

Not everybody is capable of understand how deep and how well interpreted is this song...When I find videos like this, with such a talent, and so low views, I think of it like a hidden gem in the middle of the space of youtube.

@@allansjoelin I honestly don’t know how to make it more clear. People motivated enough to learn it will figure it out I suppose. At first I tuned my G string down a whole step, and realized i was off base. Once I listened closely I figured out what you did. It’s brilliant.

@BDemba16 I can't find your comment, but you mention something about how to tune in this song. It requires you to tune the low E-string down to D AND also the A-string down to G. Quite uncommon I know, but it works well for this song :-)

@@MaijkTrollson i wouldn't say I mastered it. But i can play it pretty decently. Lots of detailed to work on. But moved over to some other songs as it always goes with me. Just got a new guitar and didn't want to funk with tuning too much.
In a bit ill probably find myself going at it again for the finishing touches haha.

Hi sounds nice, I like the piano violin version the mosts, but will try out, will print out the music sheet, not seems to be hard when i look on the sheet, but at my age memorising music sheet going to be hard XD, well was always hard, movement memory play more role...

Hi! It's drop D and drop G, which means to tune the A-string down to G, so the tuning is DGDGBE. Its a quite cool tuning :-)

Great question! I think the key of D (with the added option of tuning the A string down to G) opens up a lot of sonoric opportunities for solo guitar, whereas the key of E-major, which is of course a great key for the guitar, relies a lot on bar chords (B, F#m, G#m, C#m) and not so much on open strings as D-major. I hope this answer helps :-)

I haven't been playing too long but I'm trying to learn this from the sheet music or whatever it's called. It's kinda tricky to learn how to do the fingering but I think I'll figure it out someday. Thanks!
Thanks man! Don't fret (ha ha) if it's too tricky. Relax and let the music flow. However I would recommend to pay special attention to the left hand in this song. Get it nice and flexible.

Tommy! How's Birmingham? Tune the lowest E down to a D and the A string down to a G and you're good to go.

@@Julpurs Hi Julpurs! It means to tune the 6th string from E down to D and the 5th string from A to G. I understand it can be a bit puzzling :-) Try to see if there is some kind of YT tutorial for tuning down the strings. Otherwise, I might make one :D

You'll learn..! Tabs are a way of showing where to put the fingers on the guitar. The lines are strings (from top to bottom) and the numbers are frets. However, I would play something more accessible to learn that system than this arrangement. Have fun :-)
