    I like the idea of a A2+. That seems like a fun idea! I can definitely see your points about the portability element and agree the A2 is much better in that regard. That's a great trolley handle as well and like that you can ride with it up and catch it like that! I ended up putting a preorder in on the Falcon because I plan on doing a lot of trail riding with it and was curious about trying a small suspension wheel. I definitely was bummed to see they went with that jenky ET Max trolley handle style. I will probably remove all of that aluminum craziness and figure out a way to mount a stand trolley handle. FYI, I've got a picture from Jason at eWheels showing the Falcon with the new trolley handle design, but with the A2 knobby tire on it coming in at 25.65kg (56.55lbs) on a commercial scale. It might be a tiny bit heavier with the street tire since it's wider, but I doubt by much. The A2 will still be much more portable, but just wanted to let you know that it's close to 10lbs lighter than you mentioned.

      Thanks for that information, I had not seen anything on a revised handle for the Falcon. I hope they can get the weight down to 55lbs! I still think the wheel will be a blast and I'm jealous of the 100v system, I just think think should rethink the ergonomics and it sounds like they are which is awesome news

      @tlgrimmy 6 месяцев назад

      @PEVPOV I feel ya...I'm hoping the final product ends up better with the ergonomics/portability. I have a Lynx too, but I think these smaller wheels are WAY more practical for around town stuff and even some solid trail riding. Love my Lynx, but it's a beast and very intimidating for pedestrians compared to my Kingsong 16X. I'm over 7' tall on the Lynx with a helmet on, lol (I'm 6' 1"), and the heavy gear bulks you up, so it's a bit ridiculous to ride around in a park or something. Love the smaller wheels for casual cruisin' :)'

    I have a question: do you recommend you POC Helmet, is it good for a faceplant ?

    • @PEVPOV
      @PEVPOV  6 месяцев назад

      The POC helmet is MIPS rated and I’m confident in its safety if I were to hit my head, but the chin bar probably would not help much in a crash. This is technically a Ski helmet, so the chin bar was probably designed for light collisions with flags, branches, etc although it is locked in place and very sturdy

    Falcon= Suspension, faster speed, more range, solid metal frame. Heavier.
    A2+= Carry handle, buttons on top. Waterproof. Lighter.

    Got a flat on my master last season and spent the extra 1-2 hrs patching it rather than have to ride my v12 to work the next day which had 4500km the previous season! Its now just a cruiser the master is the fun jumper / speed commuter.

    I crashed on my 14D at around 10mph with a sore rib for 3.5 weeks so regardless of the wheel, I put my gear on (especially with the potential bug of front dipping with the A2). The only thing I would change on my A2 (but affraid to play within) is the tire. The knobby tire is a pain (vibration, wobble) ! The A2 weight is not that heavy but definitely, you can feel it.

    my biggest problem with the all a2,falcon,t4 situation are the prices...or you go with a2 as a beginner value stiuation...or you go for t4..since its really the REAL upgrade in terms of value....somthing like A2-700,Falcon-1200 and t4 pro 1800 would make a better sence...only t4 you can get for that price....hopefully the flacon will go down...

    The Falcon will bury the A2! No need for an "A2+" the real ones know the importance of suspension ;-) The falcon is the lightest monowheel with suspension and it will be more than enough to do everything and especially to do what you can't do with your A2 without taking into account that the torque and speed performance will be much better on the Falcon, so avoid selling the A2 when you are just jealous of those who will have the Falcon ;-)
